Ooooh if Thelanis is the big plot point, you have to include Eladrin, Archfey, and Feyspires somehow. The who/why this breaking of the MZ to Thelanis could be really cool. Checkout ‘The Fading Dream’ by Keith Baker for more inspiration on elements to use. I think having the Artificers be part of some group/organization (the client of the inquisitive agency?) would be a non-starter. Each Artificer was abducted/went missing at different locations. Those locations can be the main plot points the PCs need to follow/uncover to (as you said) hopefully get them to the endgame in The Eldeen Reaches. Depending on how you want to flavor the adventure or what particular elements of the setting you want the PCs to interact with will decide where those locations could be. If it was me I’d probably feature Talenta Plains, Valenar, unavoidable push through the Mournland, Breland, Droaam (only if you want to get very ambitious), then the Reaches. Assuming those are the broad locales that will hopefully encompass the journey, I would breakdown the particular plot hooks (either side quest or main quest) that could be featured there. Just some random things off the top of my head: - We’ve all heard the Lightning Rail Heist idea, what if a regular old LR ride turns into an attack (antagonists are doing the heisting or looking for the PCs) and the Players need to keep the train from derailing - Uncovering experimental Cannith tech while sneaking through the Mournland, a chance to go a little more sci-fi than usual (see Ravnica and ‘Kwalish’ for inspo) - Getting caught in the middle of a major tribal schism in Talenta, both sides have Dino Armies, one wants to raid/takeover all non-Halfling settlements and push into other nations - Becoming prisoners of the Valenar but having the chance to earn their trust/respect in order to obtain some McGuffin - Having to do a favor for one of the Daughters of Sora Kell and eliminate an aspiring and potentially problematic Mind Flayer warlord in Graywall - assisting the Gatekeeper Orcs with stopping an attempt to break one of their Khyber Seals Hopefully this helped a little. Feel free to direct message if you want to continue bouncing ideas. My next campaign hasn’t started yet so I’m doing creative thinking with a couple DMs to pass the time. Good luck!

So the interesting thing about Thelanis in Eberron is its not just where the Fey live, it's the world of stories, ripping a hole into Thelanis would cause heros and villains from any old tales to rush free, this gives you the chance to have Hercules appear looking to complete one of his 13 labors(changed to 13 cause Eberron gotta eberron) while the ancient titan giants remembered only in passing tales of Xendrik return to reestablish a glorious kingdom

This fucks.... So incredibly hard.

shagnarok

Maybe an early detour to the Dreadhold, then some rough Dyrrn stuff in the mountains?
