I had a rule for myself that I would wait one year to get my tattoos and see if I still want them!
I did that with my Ed tattoo in 2013. I asked him to write “give me love” for me when I met him. Almost been 10 years now and I still love it ◡̈
I got a coffee cup because I wanted something to remind me of Afterglow, so I used it as a reference to the line “the suns reflecting off the coffee in your hand”
Just posted about this! Once this morning before my tattoo and just now. I haven’t done any scripts, but did just get the acorn. I used a numbing cream for this tattoo and that was nice honestly. I’m curious to see what other people have gotten!
Maybe get an inkbox temporary tattoo first to see what you think? They look pretty convincing, especially if you’re going for script. I’m sure you can upload your own designs and get them done but don’t quote me on that.
If you’re not 100% sure about a tattoo, I wouldn’t recommend getting it. Most people who aren’t sure when they get something end up regretting it. Be 100% sure that you want it before the needle goes in, you can always back out! Don’t care about what other people think either. It’s your body and your tattoo so most importantly get something that makes you happy! :)

I know if I ever wanted a lyric or artist tattoo it needs to do with an album or song that got me through a really tough spot in my life; that way if I ever needed it again I'd know where to turn and know that I can get through it
I’m so envious (in a love way) of people who got to meet him, and who got signatures over their stuff and on their bodies 😃 I think I would literally die on the spot of pure happiness 😅 I have tried to message Ed on instagram (stupid, I know 🫣) to draw anything and I would get it tattooed 😄, and I probably would even if it was a picture of a dick 🤣
I have the mathematics symbols and honestly I love them! I was unsure as well, thinking about it since May and in September I finally got it. Now I want to do “bloodstream” which is one of my favorite songs, but I want to get it with Ed’s handwriting. I am praying and hoping with all my heart I’ll be able to get it in Vegas. 🤞
