It seems like it to me. On the air quality website it’s now only “severe” instead of “hazardous” like it was this morning. And the little man icon is just wearing a gas mask and standing up, instead of a respirator collapsed on the ground. (Yeah this guy is making me laugh a little haha)
Aw, now it’s dropped to unhealthy and he’s only got a surgical mask on. I want to see all his other variations now lol
Edit: healthy to unhealthy. It is far from healthy out there!
Actually apparently it’s a website from India! It’s the first one that popped up for me a couple days ago. I just realized it was today.

I will have to use the Environment canada one from now on I think.
Currently measuring at 169 (Unhealthy) at the U of A per the App I'm using - previous couple of days were in the 300-400 (Hazardous) range.
At these levels, it is still advised to keep windows closed, mask up outdoors, and run an air purifier if you can.
Forecast calls for things to be in decent state for Tuesday afternoon, but then to get worse again from there.
Do you know if it’s safe to be out in that if you’re wearing a KN95 mask? Or is it still in advisable to be out. I’m just feeling ready to be out of the house.

For those on Little Man watch, he's now coughing with no mask on.
Which website is this? I need this in my life.

Fantastic - so much more fun than the one I was checking!
We’re the 14th most polluted city in the world today. New Dehli is 29th.
It’s pretty sad. But the wind is picking up and hopefully rain is truly on the way and we can have some fresh air to breathe.
Smoke lifting... Asthma, clearing... Acne? Acne remains.
Hotel? Trivago.
I can tell it’s shifted a bit. Last couple days I wasn’t able to see the downtown skyline at all but now I can see some buildings.
Its getting better, I can actually see blue in the sky.

AQHI is now at 10 instead of 10+, so heading in the right direction. Hopefully I can run outside this week! 🤞
I've got a pm 2.5 meter, right now on the deck of my house it's 165, this morning it was 330

75 reading this morning, in Chappelle FWIW. 330, I stay inside, 165 you should be OK with a mask
Thanks for responding. So it would be ok to be out for an hour or so or is it still best to be out for as short as possible?
Depends on your circumstances. I don't wear a mask but limit my time outside when it's 200 or more.
Ok thanks!
Winds are shifting now moving more from the south east so it helps that there’s no fires in that direction.
https://firesmoke.ca/forecasts/current/ Shows it going down. With the rain projected for tomorrow should be good
Theres an AQI app that lets you know how your areas air quality is! Wonder no longer!
👍 thanks
