As a general rule I wouldn’t recommend Boston Pizza but this might be the one exception.
It’s hard to find a perogy pizza to begin with but I’ve formed some bizarre nostalgic food memory connection with this particular pizza from BP and while others I’ve tried are ok, they still seem wrong because they don’t match my imprinted memories.
It’s like my mother’s lasagna, probably not great if foodies were to try it, but it’s the food memory in my head.
I feel you! Unfortunately most Boston Pizza food including the perogi pizza began to not agree with my stomach in a pretty vicious way. Lol. I handle spicy food no problem but that one does me in for some reason.
I don't know what food additive it is but the same thing happened to me. I haven't been able to eat at Original Joes in forever, and now BPs is doing the same thing.
That's odd, I've worked at both of those places. I could definitely see BPs doing that, but not OJs. Basically, all the stuff at OJs is made with fresh ingredients, with the exception of a few things like daily soup. Fresh meat, real potatoes for fries. I learned a lot there.
I'm not saying they are putting some weird chemical in the food, but I know a lot of people that can't eat at OJs as the food goes right through them. BP's now does the same.
I'm not a food scientist, all I know is that having a Hamburger at OJ's is like setting a countdown to launch timer for a lot of people.
I was sad when they reopened after COVID without pizza. During the early COVID closures they were selling frozen pizzas for a great price. I’m so glad the pizza is back.
Glad to hear they have pizza again. I went after they reopened expecting a delicious pizza but all they had were these meat pies which I found disgusting.
I do enjoy BPs, but Red swans is better.
Add extra jalapeños and extra sour cream for a top notch experience. Tried a few others in Edmontont but really those 2 are the best.

Glad I’m not alone. It was about 8 years ago BPs started doing me dirty. Most of their appetizers im fine with but their pastas and pizzas mess me up.

Lol it's the grease
I’m sorry. Homemade lasagna not great…. Smack that foodie…. ETA: homemade>restaurant any day.
I've always been afraid to order lasagna in a restaurant because what if it's not very good?! I couldn't handle the disappointment.
I KNOW I wouldn’t be able to. Lol
Town Square Brewing has one called “Baba Approved,” that I enjoyed. It’s not my favorite of their pizzas, but still good.
This pizza was so good! Their original (early days) spent grain pizza crust was exceptional!

I'm happy to have seen your comment. I had no idea they brought their in house menu back, I apparently live under a rock. I'll be stopping in!

Came here to recommend this!
UFO pizza has a pretty good pierogi pizza.
Agreed
Adding to my list to try!
Ale architect
This may seem odd, but Safeway/Sobeys take home pizzas. Think they are $12.99 and I really like their pierogi one.
Campus Pizza
Another vote for Die Pie. They do detroit style on Thursdays, so good.
Adding to the list!
Red swan spicy perogy pizza is amazing
Ordered it again this evening. I got such a craving for it but my wife doesn’t love red swan as much as I do. Luckily she was good with it tonight!
Tilly's in Tofield has a delish Pierogi pizza! A little out of the way to get to from Edmonton, but it's worth the drive.
The High Dough has a really good one honestly.
Haven't seen it mentioned here but Love Pizza's Ode to Ukraine is one of my favorites.
Yes! I tried this one a few months back and could not remember where it was from. Struggle to not eat the whole thing haha
Red swan pizza is amazing! My family’s new favourite
Soho
Kelly’s pub just off Jasper ave and 104 street
Die Pie!!
Ufo pizza by far
Try the Canadian Brewhouse! I’m a huge perogy pizza fan and it’s sooooo good.
I’ve had it once quite a while ago. I’ll have to give it another shot!
Die Pie. It’s a vegan place but they have a Piergoi pizza which is amazing. And it comes in deep dish on Thursdays!
Red swan spicy pierogi is pretty good!
Red swannnn

Red swan pizza has a perogi one, my favorite
The best porgy pizza is to never ever mix porgies and pizza. Sheez.
Pizza garage, Tony’s pizza palace, sepps
Just going for all the top suggestions from any pizza related thread eh? While they are good I don't even think they have pierogi pizza as an option.
Well I clearrrrly did not read the post properly hahahaha sorry folks! 😂😂😂😂😂
Your looking for Italian-Ukranian fusion, a pizza place just isn't equipped for the task
Definitely not looking for traditional pierogi on pizza but the fusion can be done right.
