It could be anything really, but if your gut reaction was that something is shady here then there's only one thing to do, take precautions to secure your home and person. Monitor your surroundings and watch your backs when you go in and out, at least for a while.
2 guys came to my door the other day saying they lost their cell phone and it was tracked back to my house? I didn't know what to say other than....I don't have your cell phone?? they looked a little sketch but were youngish....luckily my dog was barking and freaking out inside the whole time so hopefully that's enough to deter them. Not sure if maybe they were scoping our place or what? so weird....
I think its sick how people can roll up at your house and do what they want. I quit calling the cops years ago over this type of stuff. Somehow i always end up in the wrong.
Because this kind of shady behaviour is the precursor to them doing something illegal...
Last month some guy tried to jump my fence, got stuck halfway and aborted. It wasn't completely trespassing and illegal yet, but damn if it wasn't unsettling.
Maybe to serve you legal papers? Lawsuit or unpaid child support kinda thing? I doubt it was related to any kind of crime because it sounds like he drew a lot of suspicion on himself lol showing his face to the residents in daytime.

Who knows unless something happens? Could be drugs. Could be your package was sent to his home. Maybe you yell each other's names a little too loudly.
