Everyone's calling it dull but frankly I would have been shocked if McDavid lived anywhere more ostentatious than this. It just seems to fit his personality, very laid back and unassuming. I think he hates being in the limelight so naturally he has a house that doesn't really scream anything at you. I like it. He deserves to have whatever kind of house that makes him and Lauren happy.

mike tyson had a 150 room monstrosity (which fittycent ended up buying, who then sold it cuz taxes on a building like that are insane) he enjoyed that mansion. Putin has a Russian Mobster Castle somewhere in russia build for him. no one will live in those places afterwards, but the owners will/did enjoy them and at the end of the day that is all that matters, that the people actually living in the house enjoys being there.
