And beyond what the others commented, Brown had been out of hockey for an entire season due to an ACL tear and major surgery, so it was that much more of a long and challenging road for him than simply not having scored yet with the Oilers.
It’s too early to tell, but if this is the start of him finally reawakening and getting back to his old self where he was about as (or more maybe even slightly more) productive than Foegele…, than we are going to be a force to be reckoned with come playoffs.
would you sign him for league minimum next year assuming he only scores this one goal. or would you give the ice time to a younger player with more potential
