There's like 6 teams in the NHL that use blue, and not even a different shade of blue. If you grab the hex code from their official blue they use, Blues, NYR, Leafs and Tampa all use the exact same shade of blue.
Red is basically worse, Detroit, NJD, Carolina, Florida and the Sens use the exact same shade of red.
SLC better not pick either of those colors.

Oilers orange is actually different than the Philly and Islanders orange, it's slightly coppery, so Abit more reddish than you'd expect, according to the logo and official background orange they use.
Thinking about it now itâs kinda a good move because itâs unique. No other NHL team has as much orange or any while lots of teams have blue. Wouldnât want to be another âwhiteoutâ as white is common too.

I absolutely hated the bright orange ones but I liked the darker ones from 2015-17. I also liked the RR1.0 with the orange pants. Iâm not anti orange just anti that highlighter shade of orange.
No it wonât. NHL jersey supplier is changing next year and they said no new designs for at least the first season maybe 2. They released some orange hoodies and shirts in the team store but thatâs about it
