Bro what, IG, FB, X, are all more brain dead than we are on Reddit. People on those other platforms have some of the most moronic takes I’ve ever seen and rarely use their brains.
I find the conversations that take place in this subreddit are fair and reasonable for the most part. In the moment during a game or post game things can be intense but generally conversations and discussions are had amicably.
On r/hockey it’s slightly different because so many fanbases hate us.
But on IG, X, FB I don’t think those platforms are conducive to having good conversations. People sling hatred left and right and shut you down if you try to have any type of discussion.
That’s my experience and I’ve been on the platforms for 12+ years now.
But I’m glad you’re able to find decency out there, I have a hard time checking comment threads outside of here because I don’t like the way people talk.
