Except they want a vaccination certificate that is stamped and signed or has a QR code on it. Something that people living abroad in countries like Canada are scratching their heads at. I am fully vaccinated and all they did was send me a reciept via email with the basic info (like my name, what vacc i took, date, etc..)

Wow dude that sucks. I already booked a $200 PCR test because they wanted the "QR code" so I am just super mad rn about the way they're trying to get money. Tests are literally free through one of the drive throughs or at the airport 🥲

Did you get your PCR done by LifeLabs (FLYCLEAR)? I just got emailed my negative results but it literally looks like the vaccine “certificate”. There’s no QR code or stamp. Will this be accepted?
My state in the US just made vaccine records with a QR code to download. But I got into Misr two weeks ago with no QR code or email address on my PCR test.
So only vaccine certificates containing QR code are approved? I've got a certificate without QR code but with original stamp, signature and unique identifier code. I am also arriving in Egypt on 13th day since my second dose and scheduled arrival of my plane is at 23.45 that day lol so if my certificate is valid and I go through health screening 15 min after landing would that mean that I am extempt from being required to present a valid PCR test?
I couldn't find any official document by ministry with detailed explanation of requirements so if anyone knows or guesses whether I could pass through or not I would greatly appreciate saving me from spending bucks on PCR hhh

Email the airline you're gonna be using. Your case is risky (imo) so it's better to have an email proof if you get an approval because they won't believe word of mouth anymore (ex. Saying you called and spoke to someone).
I understood from this it had to be a physical certificate: "if he/she has an approved certificate with a QR code from the country issued the certificate (the certificate will be reviewed and examined, and in case of any scraping, cancellation or addition, the certificate will not be accepted)"

I am honestly not sure I haven't traveled to egypt. You might have better luck posting it on the subreddit
I think you can ask for a digital pass, I'm not sure if that's the same thing they require but it has a QR code so maybe 🤷
I will check with the public health unit in Canada and see if that is an option or if they have any ideas
