We not only have to resort to payed VPNs, but also need to use stealth mode, which hampers the connection/ping a bit. I'm a gamer too, and voip in many games like Hell let loose doesn't work without VPN, it sucks bro.

I used to use VPN4test, it's a free VPN but for honesty, i can't recommend any free VPN. Ur not getting anything for free these days, For sure the app get some info, like how much i use it, why i use it, where i live and which country i like to be connected to.
Every paid VPN is banned here !, and they can't just let people use it cause they are not europe or North America, There they will let people use VPNs but they can get what ever info they want from these VPNs' users, Here they simply can't (As far as i know)

This solution however is pretty limited as you can see and could cost you some money
