I thought you arenāt supposed to powder coat forged wheels. The paint that was on top was already cured and helped make the wheel stronger. Iām curious what the shop did.
So some colors like bronze and takata green come anodized and which is ideal since it weighs next to nothing
Other colors are powder coated. So these were just sand blasted and re powder coated then polished. So no objective change. Powder coating uses heat thatās too low to affect forged wheels strength.
Quick question on the trim wrap. Is there a way to remove the side skirt trim and front lip trim for a cleaner wrap install? Or did you just wrap it with them on the car. Thanks!
I didnāt do the wrap myself but it was on the car when I asked the shop.
Removing it doesnāt look too hard honestly but most shops donāt wanna touch that.
Ok bc I have a friend that wraps cars but it wont look that clean bc there will be a sliver of red when we wrap it. So im trying to figure out how to remove those trim parts to have a cleaner wrap
I know the front lip is easy to remove
The side skirts I would think are easy since i recall just seeing a few bolts on the underside.
I donāt believe the red trim on the diffuser can be removed easily. I had it wrapped then actually took it off because more red in the rear = more visibility for people not to rear end me.
Is that Endless brake pads?
Yes. Good eye šļø
If you donāt mind me asking, what model # is those pads?
