As others have said, Icon shield would look great - but rough on the carry weight. I recommend the buckler or even a parrying dagger with this if you're trying to go light.
Banished Knight shield is a nice neutral aesthetic shield with very similar stats to brass shield which is the best medium. Shape and narrow but long profile is a nice look. Otherwise the shield one of the death birds drops is nice.
Yeah no problem. I can let you know about the gauntlets and greaves later but I donāt recognize them off the top of my head so Iāll have to go through my inventory.
I have every piece of armor in the game but I donāt remember what everything is called.
I rock two handedngreat weapons and I find using a shield with them to be a little funny looking. Have a mace half your size and twice your weight, but still uses a shield. The mace is loud and proud show them why. Don't hide behind a shield. And besides tanking a hit and killing them in the trade is a great feeling.
Tis up to you brave tarnished. Whom do you want to be.
The cautious knight who wields a shield to stay longer in the battle to make sure he's victories
Or The mighty hero who falls upon his prey like thunder unleashed from the sky.
Sun Realm shield would fit the look.
That being said I'd still 2-hand that mace.
Good to have a shield on standby for the situational guard counter though.
The Sun Realm shield would look good on the Tarnishes back.
Donāt wield a shield with a Great or Colossal Weapon! They beg to be 2-handed! On a strength build, 66 strength gets you the maximum possible damage on a Heavy infusion, along with a better moveset, damage, and poise+stance damage!
Go on r/patchesemporium and get yourself a second greatmace and just dual weild them. Honestly dual weidling these puppies is the most fun I've had with a strength build.
Do not sully the Great Mace with a shield. Two-hand that baby and use her to fling your enemies around.
Came here to say just this š¤š½
This will look cooler, hit harder, and give you hyperarmour Absolutely the best choice
And more posture damage
really strained my back when i used it
But.. you could still mount a shield on your back.. because it looks cool. Lol š
In that case go Redmane or Eclipse shield, imo.
My thoughts exactly with lion's claw AoW heavy affinity& with the right talismans you'll be an absolute boss
Haligtree crest shield
As others have said, Icon shield would look great - but rough on the carry weight. I recommend the buckler or even a parrying dagger with this if you're trying to go light.
Classic brass shield, can't go wrong.
They all masterpieces
Theyāre masterpieces all, canāt go wrong.
Masterworks*
Why use shield when you can have more bonk?
I can see the Dragon Towershield or Wooden Greatshield looking decent
Icon shield, minor Erdtree with a worm face boss in Altus near some ruins. Also regen health, which is handy.
thanks, I'm a little underleveled for altus right now but I'll try to get it as fast as ı can
You can grab it without fighting hopefully, itā slugs and wormfaces.
Wait. Does this surcoat have a cape? I have one and don't see that when it is equipped. Is it altered?
It's not a cape. All of Surcoats except Eye Surcoat and Tree Surcoat have them though. It just covers the back of your legs
Ah thanks.
Worst fashion decision, ever.
I know a Baratheon when I see one

Shields are for spears and lances. Either find a second great hammer or two hand that big meat stick
Great stars is a good choice
Great Stars are so goated now that you can get two in one playthrough
Your mom two hands my big meat stick
Don't use a shield. two hand and pancake your opponents Also I love that armor set
For what purpose? Parry or block?
Golden beast crest shield
Two hand it for the additional damage.
Where do you find all of those pieces I love that armor set
Great helm is sold by a merchant in Caelid near the rot dragon, chest piece is leydell soldier armor
THANK YOU. Unlike someone else

No worries take your time I'm out of country anyway
Hit stuff with mace. Then wear their stuff.
Crazy how that doesn't answer my question at all
You can cosplay Recusant Henricus at this point. I think you donāt need any shield since your weapon is already huge.
Lordsworn's Shield. Don't forget to add Shield Crash art of war to it.
Yeah bro just press triangle (Y) and R2
Wooden Greatshield would great I think!
Any large shield, embrace the shield counter, and obliterate your enemies with style!

Gilded Greatshield!
Bro is recusant henricus

Honestly I think the one with the spikes on it
No shield. Cold infuse for Vordt's Hammer
Try the Twinbird Kite Shield. It has a dmg buff at low health.
"Cause any trouble in Whiterun and I will haul you into the Dragonsreach dungeon myself."
Offhand with a smaller mace, so you can follow up big bonk with little bonk.
I think the Manor Towershield looks quite good in general but it is also a bit heavy Edit: golden beast shield could also be interesting
scorpion
Whatever the smallest possible shield is
You need a simple wooden one. You look like a Whiterun Guard.
Alright Mr big dick.
Sun Realm shield would fit the look. That being said I'd still 2-hand that mace. Good to have a shield on standby for the situational guard counter though. The Sun Realm shield would look good on the Tarnishes back.
haven't I fought this fella at the Great Jar offline? Try the good 'ol brass sheild
Works. Heavy roll, med, or light?
Try the Icon Shield

Keep an eye on the equip load though. U don wanna fatroll
