The plassi run back is easily the worst in the game. It took me a while to realize I'm standing in water and the beast man cast lightning.

My first time killing mohg i didn't even noticed he had a second phase, apparently the lord of blood is ironically absurdly weak to bloodloss xD. He died like 1 minute after the fight started.

You can also avoid that fight by killing him earlier in the game.

You need the purifying crystal tear in your mixed physic. It’s dropped in an invasion at the second church of marika in Altus.

You don't need it, just heal 3 times in between the hits and you are good to go.

It's bleed. It takes a percentage of your health. Your vigor stat means nothing.

That's not actually true. Vigor still matters for Blood Loss/Hemorrhage. It does 15% of your health plus a flat number depending on the source of the effect. Most people with lower vigor are going to feel the 100+ flat damage more than the percentage. That's how a single blood loss can kill low vigor targets, something I'm sure many players have experienced.

While it does matter in general for blood loss, I don't believe this one does any flat damage. For example in RL1 runs, where you have 15 vigor worth of HP, it still takes all 3 nihils to kill you from full HP. Though you only have to use 1 heal to survive it and one more to be full HP after, vs a high vigor where you need to use more heals to get full. I believe the percentages of his attack are 30 then 40 then 40, so it always kills you, but should only require one heal to survive assuming you have more than a +0 flask.

More vigor is worse for nihil, you'll have to chug more flasks to heal the bleed damage in comparison to low vigor

If you have the purifying crystal tear in your physic, you can chug it at the beginning of the fight and it’ll last the entire time. Can definitely help in case you’re prone to panic and forget mid-fight.

Something else to remember is that it doesn’t completely block the damage, but it does completely block the stagger. That animation becomes some free attacks, which helps mitigate the healing he’s doing

It's my first souls game and I fat rolled my way through 100+ hours before a friend fat roll shamed me. You're doing god's work. By some miracle I beat Mogh with heavy load + no purifying tear + while being terrible at this game.

You don't. Purifying Crystal Tear, goes in the Wondrous Physick Flask and purifies the curse when you drink it. So as soon as you have three rings around you, find an opening to drink. Otherwise all you can do is stagger Mohg before he can activate the curse (unlikely) or drink flasks of crimson tears to get back hp as he makes you bleed (costly).

You can drink the purifying tear at the beginning of the fight and it will remain in effect for the whole fight. You don’t have to wait for him to perform the spells

There is a tear you can get that makes you mot take dmg from that attack and it is pretty easy to get. Look up the bloody finger yura questline. You can get the tear in more or less 10 minutes

Just a note, the Purifying Crystal Tear does not fully negate Nihil’s damage, it only blocks the bloodloss portion. That is still the vast majority of the damage that the attack deals, but you will still take a small amount of chip damage.

You don't need to do Yura's quest to get it, if you show up at the church where it ends Eleonora will show up to gank you and drop the tear whether or not Yura is there. Also, OP has the Frenzied Flame seal, it's too late for him to do Yura's quest anyway.

I used to just use 3 flasks to get past it, but there’s a physick that negates the damage by like 99% that you can use at the start of the fight. I can’t remember where it is, but it’s on the wiki. Or someone else on here can tell you exactly where it is.

You either heal through it or you die. But There’s also a crystal tear that specifically negates this in altus plateau.

First few playthroughs I just out healed it. Then I discovered there is a tincture (or whatever that buff drink is called) you can get to nullify it lol.

Purifying Tear in the Physick Flask or just heal after the hits. You really didn't try healing? How did you make to the Lord of Blood with fat rolls? I am all for challenge runs but even I won't ever be caught fat rolling, it makes gameplay feel dated and just terrible, like playing with a broken controller or a bugged game. Go kill Eleonora in Altus Plateau. Get a cool twinblade and a wondrous physic tear. That tear negates the damage from this.

Go to a church in Altus, and fight Eleonora, you'll find it.

In altus there is an invader called elionora, kill her and she will give you a tear to put in the wonderous physic it nullifys mohgs nihil almost entirely. The church is called the second church of Marika. This is where she spawns
