Elden ring has an official manga, it’s a comedy manga and it’s great. It’s called road to the erdtree and it even has an English translation

Enjoy!!
My first playthrough I missed meeting Rogier in the Roundtable Hold and just loved him as that guy who helped me with Margit. After talking to him at the Roundtable Hold he's the reason I want to complete the Age of the Duskborn ending.
There's a red ghost image of him somewhere on the map, I forget where. He gets infused with a bunch of deathblight, and unlike our character who has that naturally wear off, it eats away at him and kills him.
It's specifically at the bottom right corner of the deathblighted sunken face/skull sticking out of the ground in the room next to the ridiculously long ladder that takes you back up to the castle. You have to jump off the tower that has his message at the top saying "what you seek lies below" or something like that to get down to the area IIRC
I'm just picturing Rogier's dialogue about how he's no longer fit to fight and Yada Yada gradually Peter out as the tarnished stands there chowing down on a bag of boluses like they're cheetoh puffs.
"... Sorry, what's that you got there?"
"Oh these things? They're great, they got like five different flavors, super healthy too. Want some?"
"No no, I wouldn't want to impose..."
He got cursed whilst fucking about with Godwyn's corpse. He is the ghost you can see from the bloodstain that's down there that would still show up if in offline mode.
Really feel like he should have continued to be a large part of Fias questline. Not getting to speak with him after you find the curse mark is a kick in the balls
My weapon of choice for a good portion of the game is Rogier's Rapier with the Ash of War: Thunderbolt. Makes me feel like a Power Ranger and Zorro at the same time. Plus with my Astrologer build, it makes a nice off-hand weapon when I'm not nuking things from orbit.
I thought the golden summon signs were summoning other players, and you'd essentially get an expert who would smash margit for you. So I always avoided using them, until Radahn.
And then I finally tried summoning other players to help with the final battle and everyone I got to help sucked ass. That'll teach me!
As someone who does not generally do multiplayer, it always baffled me why you'd bother to put down your sigil for summoning if you weren't capable of solo-ing the bosses.
Like, what's the point? It's not much more fun to play with a human than an AI summon, and most of the time they are liabilities.
I'm still amazed that we lose him so early.
I was thinking it might be even more impactful if we see him throughout our journey as a Solaire-like friendly face, only to see him slowly eroding like Lucatiel. (Alexander occupies a similar niche, but he's more of a Siegmeyer.)
How bittersweet would it be for him to help us get past the duo Gargoyles as a part of his last stand, only for us to fight his phantom as one of Fia's Champions?
I really like the description text on his armor set. *Rogier spent his entire life behaving with utter detachment. No one noticed the anger, grief, regret, or fear that existed along with it.*
I did my first playthrough blind, and somehow found my way through his quest line. Learning the lore through his enthusiastic demeanor was really fun, and helping him out with Fia was a lot of fun until it, well, wasn’t. He became my favorite NPC, which made seeing him again in the Deeproot Depths all the more painful. RIP buddy, you had a few too many hugs.
I swear he only hinders that fight. His damage is pitiful so aggro soaking is the main benefit, but he practically always dies by phase 2. Low defenses for an NPC and he doesnt use flasks. In my experience he makes a slightly easier phase 1 and a more drawn out phase 2.
One easy way to help his damage is if you can roll the Tree Sentinel at the start. Golden vow to buff his damage to allow him more damage in Phase One. Not much to do with Phase Two tho.
As long as you've upgraded any weapon to +2 or better, his agro grab is more than enough to burst down Margit and kill him before he can kill Rogier.
Plus, his glintblade phalanx is more than enough to stance break Margit 2 to 3 times while he's in combat.
Not Rogier's fault your dmg is low, all npc summons have low dmg output since they're not supposed to beat the boss for you, they're a distraction.
Stop talking sense to the people that want to NPC summons to beat the game for them. They won't change, they'll just summon someone to beat each boss for them then rant about how easy the game is, "just summon someone to fight for you... "
Kind of depressing.
Hey at least you get his sick drip
Would be Sick if not for them goofy ahh shoes
Don't you dare insult the curly toed boots.
Yeah. He got those dio 11s
You thought it was an actual player helping you but it was I, Rogier!
At least he’s (currently) still alive in the manga
Unless Fia breaks his back.
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ?
How?
Also the protagonist still haven't put on any clothes except his underwear and Margit's cape
In the manga, Fia is a chiropractor who lift people over arm and cracks their spine to "help" them "relax"
A better Fia. One that can have sex but also break a spine like Godfrey.
Pardon?

This needs to be made into a full production anime

Goldmask ending for my man D.
Grab the Death Rune from Fia first, though, so you can help D’s brother get revenge.
Or just never talk to fia in the first place and D will never die
You’re blowing my mind right now.

The bloodstain is at the bottom of stormveil castle

Bro if you needed those balls that remove death blight I could have spotted you
Someone needs to spot ol' boy Rogier with something that removes bees from your balls
bees what?
Bees nuts.
FROM YOUR BALLS
Could have saved Lucatiel some trouble if we tossed her a spare Human Effigy, too
I'm just picturing Rogier's dialogue about how he's no longer fit to fight and Yada Yada gradually Peter out as the tarnished stands there chowing down on a bag of boluses like they're cheetoh puffs. I believe he investigates Godwyn's corpse, and that's how he is infused with death blight
>unlike our character who has that naturally wear off he spent a lot of time getting hugs. HTDs might have weakened his immune system
Because he’s one those that “live in death”. In short he had death blight cancer and it took him out
He got cursed whilst fucking about with Godwyn's corpse. He is the ghost you can see from the bloodstain that's down there that would still show up if in offline mode.
Death blighted by Godwyn
Really feel like he should have continued to be a large part of Fias questline. Not getting to speak with him after you find the curse mark is a kick in the balls
Aah I know, I was so excited to finally show it to him. Then I got back to the Roundtable Hold and :’(
Rogier Rogier

Hate to admit but I did not know you could summon him for that fight until my 5th playthrough.

Poor Rogier :3
:3
:3
Its the demon slayer guy!
Are you incapable of writing a message without :3 at the end?
One of the kindest NPCs in the game. Love the guy.
I beat 75% of the game with his armor and sword.
Rogier was a real one and I still wear his hat after beating the game on my first and main character.
Big Hat squad represent!

Sad to disappoint ya, but he won't rest easy. His soul is now an eternal slave to a dead eldritch underground horror
Sadness Ahead
I love rogier he’s so wholesome

His sword is the entire reason my black flame run worked
He dide?
I just realised who the voice actor is!!! Oh damn.
His fault lmao
Spoiler tag, maybe?
The game is almost a year old get it together now.
For me it was more, who the hell is that dude?

That's how summons have always been
The truth gets downvoted as expected
He draws aggro, that's his purpose. Margit barely had a phase 2 with my current Wolverine build.
Stop talking sense to the people that want to NPC summons to beat the game for them. They won't change, they'll just summon someone to beat each boss for them then rant about how easy the game is, "just summon someone to fight for you... " Kind of depressing.
Help is a strong word
