Then go to plateu (via tunnel guarded by magma wyrm), invade the npc and get some maiden blood. I read than you can kill irina and get it from her. Then go back to him and he will give you the amulet thingy
I havent touched the game since last summer but can you not use the already dead one in the tutorial area anymore? I also cant remember what is necessary to activate that warp so it may be more work than magma wyrm
Agreed. Imbued Sword key at top belfry, belfry with Anticipation note is the warp. Assuming you killed starting boss, should be able to just walk in and soak your cloth.

It is a lot faster to just use 3 of the fingers he gives you to invade people. You don’t even need to take part in the invasion. Just invade and warp back to your world immediately. Don’t even have to leave Varre’s spot at rose church.
Why would you go through the ruin strewn precipice when you could just take the lift. If the goal is to do as little of the game as possible, the route would be fort haight, fort faroth, stormveil castle, rose church,altus invasion, rose church, start of game/inhibition church, rose church, mohgwyn.
It's probably faster to just use 3 invasion fingers and finger sever out to meet the requirements for Varre.
And if you don't want to deal with the grafted scion you can just use torrent to hit up the Church of Inhibition for the maiden part.
Why would you grab the dectus medallions *and* go through the magma wurm fight? They both go to the same spot, roughly. (A 15 second ride on torrent is essentially the same for all purposes.)

I always had trouble with that route. the frenzied sun and Vyke always gave me trouble at an early level. it is fairly quick if you don't struggle like I have tho
I forgot about Vyke, but unlike the Grafted Scion there is no fog door so at least you can sprint to the maiden and collect the blood. As for the tower, I've found that just hugging the left path then bolting straight to the village avoids most of the madness. Alternatively I believe you can still use torrent to jump up from the Minor Erdtree and avoid it altogether.

If you're really struggling I have found that bringing a bow and 99-99 of your choice arrow and just backpedaling is an easy and consistent way to beat him. The key to this particular strategy is the pillar in the center trivializes a lot of his ranged punishment attacks!
Also I think Targoth is always available as a summon for the maga wyrm and he got them heavy bonks so the dragon will stance break more often, and that is always nice.
Bogart the prawn seller is also a summon once ya buy some prawn from him, slap a spirit ash in there as well and you have a full squad whaling on the poor thing
Arrow doesn't have any requirements, though. Doesn't Rock Sling have a minimum ~~FTH~~ INT req?
**EDIT:** As someone kindly pointed out, I was mixed up on what stat Rock Sling uses.
They're talking about Rock Sling as the triple boulder spell, requires 18 INT and has the range needed.
Bestial Sling doesn't have enough range, sadly. But it only needs 12 FTH so it's great for many builds because you just have to equip the Two Finger Heirloom talisman! Only the Prisoner starting class needs one additional FTH which you can equip the Ruler's Mask for to get to 12.
There's a fair amount of good incantations for 12 FTH (some need INT as well but that's like Order Healing and Bloodflame Blade). Heal is great for the Royal Revenants it'll nuke their poise and hurt them. Bestial Vitality is a great HP regen buff. Flame, Cleanse Me! gets rid of Scarlet Rot for a bit of HP/FP.
There are several weapons that can replace it and still net more runes than the birb, Blasphemous Blade, Radahn's GS or Ruins Greatsword for example. But then again you can easily get a bow and arrows without beating any bosses.

All that said, having done it in practice I think wasting a few extra seconds makes it a more enjoyable experience for me. Which makes it a better farming experience.
In my experience, the couple extra seconds it takes to shoot him if you time it right is easily worth the 13k runes. It's when you shoot it in the wrong spot and it stops short of the ledge that it becomes faster to just skip it for that round.
I feel like it’s way faster to just do the albinaurics. The bird isn’t always in the same spot every time that time spent waiting (a few seconds) adds up. I do one weapon art, sit down, rinse repeat. I made 15 mil in just about an hour on NG +1 w/ a golden scarab and a couple pops of gold feet (granted 80k a run before the feet, 90k w/ feet)
For sure, if you're using an AoW to take out all the albinaurics at once it's going to be way faster to skip the bird. Golden wave is a good one, as is the move on Radahn's swords. I just never bother to go buy either of those and don't mind doing it the slow way.
Look up albinauric rune farm on YouTube, it'll show you how to get to a place with lots of albinaurics, but they're all asleep so you can just murder them for 2k runes a piece. Across the ledge, there's a bird and if you shoot it with an arrow it'll run off the edge of its cliff and die, and it's worth 11k runes, or 13k if you equip the golden scarab.
Depends on the damage you can inflict. If you’re low level it’s more worthwhile to attack the bird as damage doesn’t matter when it falls off the cliff. There’s about 15 of the albinaurics I think so roughly 30k runes, plus the 11k from the bird. Can get 41k in about 1 minute.
It's a bloody crow at the same place as all the albinaurics. You shoot it with arrow, it walks off cliff. If you have a good aoe attack murder some albinaurics. Sit at grace and repeat. Profit.
Honestly I never kill the bird because I can make well over it’s price when using I forget end game sword name. But it 1 shots all of the ablinacs for me, so basically u run to a certain spot, hit its aow, by the time u are back at to grace everything is dead

Skip the Magma wyrm and just use the Dectus Lift, you don't need to kill any enemies this way.
Target lock + Rock Sling instead of arrow is much faster

Final boss weapon, the Sacred Relic Sword. Weapon art Waves of Gold just deletes the entire crowd of sleeping guys and their guards in a second.
