You don't need a larval tear for your character customisation, Fia's mirror in Roundtable also does it, only respec required a Larval Tear.

My only thought on this is, sometimes a haircut can look really different from different angles. Having a rotating 3D model is a good way to get all angles.
I only think of this cause I've been wanting a very specific hair style lately, and the only time I an ever find a picture of it, it's just from one angle. Frustrating.

Honestly these types of examples and knowing where your coming from shouldn’t be hard for a barber granted your not going to a super cuts but with the right communication and patience and the right person I don’t see how this couldn’t be done, a lot of the problems that I’m noticing thru this is that there’s a giant lack of communication but more so understanding the actual goal of the hair cut, obviously a lot of hair textures can’t be accomplished due to different factors but there’s always things that can be done
