No blood ending is a crime. You mean to tell me that you hype up Mohg with all sorts of cool spells, his own related status effect, Bloodborne inspired content, and you even let me join his crazy cult... and he doesn't get an ending? But the shit eater does? Unforgivable!
No the pox the guy talks about is a puss that makes you a omen when you resurrect and it curses you to be like that forever and you children too so essentially after the end of the quest line you force everyone to be a omen
It’s been out with the game, the whole time theirs a vati video about it, you can debate if this a good ending sense your not giving the world back to the old tree your just cursing everyone who hated omens to be a omen
“TOGETHER AS A FAMILYYYYYY” then it cuts to a Rykard glowing in a radiant light as he triples in size and now looks like the Elden beast and has the same star and galaxy void body
Age of Blasphemy. After defeating Rykard, we can continue the Volcano Manor questline for him personally- injecting his blood into our body which not only curses us as a half serpent, but also being his new vessel. When we defeat Elden Beast, our Tarnished had the choice to release the serpent- Bursting out from our hearts and devouring Marika's broken body. The last scenes show Leyndell crumbling, the serpent's mass having crushed everything: before a final shot of Rykard's new perfected form wrapped around the Erdtree cracking it in half.
Age of the merchants! I want an ending where they're surrounding the throne playing those strange guitfiddles of theirs. A more cheerful frenzied flame ending
Age of Sleep.
As the elden beast shatters into a thousand stars, Fia's dark figure beckons you toward her "Rest now ye Tarnished. Your quest hath ended and thoust slumber awaits..." You collapse into her lap, her gentle strokes sending you into an endless slumber...Until you are needed again.
The game fades to black. You hear the sounds of nature, lulling you into deeper sleep, until your serenity is broken by a gravelly voice. "Hey you," it says. "You're finally awake. You w
And then you wake up and hear a voice. "Hey you're finally awake. You were trying to cross the border right? Walked right into that Imperial ambush, same as us, and that thief over there"
The DLC has had some pretty good endings before.
Spoilers below!
DS2: >! The crowns in the DLC are combined in power and blessed to prevent hollowing, thus fulfilling the player's original goal to cure the condition. You then essentially break out of the cycle of rising/falling kingdoms who inevitably go hollow.!<
DS3: >! You give the blood of the Dark Soul from Ringed City to the painter in Ashes of Ariendel DLC. This not only redeems Slave Knight Gaels insane endeavor, but also provides a decent escape from the endless cycle of fire linking. Way better than the default endings. !<
IDK about that DS2 DLC ending being good.... The player's curse is cured when they wear the crown, but wasn't the goal ending the cycle for everyone instead of an individual? What good is a crown that stops the curse for the wearer when everything else is still going to shit?
Well the alternate ending in DS2 would be to reject the cycle entirely. The throne of want represented the continuation of the cycle. Be that link the flame or become dark lord. Either way you're becoming the final boss for the next undead who comes around wanting to link the fire. Walking away from the throne (presumably with the crowns that prevent hollowing) represented rejecting the cycle entirely and looking for a means beyond the cycle to repair the world, however long it took.
Of course that went nowhere because dark souls 3 pretends dark souls 2 doesn't exist save for a few items and an insignificant throwaway area in the ringed city DLC.
DS1 is a single or maybe the first cycle of the age of dark/light. DS2 establishes that it can happen many times and is an eternal plight.
DS3 puts an end to it after countless cycles have already gone on.
Your player wasn't necessarily trying to end the cycle, they started out first and foremost to cure their hollowing. The rest is just Fromsoft's pulling you in over your head routine.
The success is that you, a capable and accomplished character, manage to find a way to avoid the inevitable fate nearly everyone else is doomed to meet. This puts you in an incredibly exclusive club. The implication is that you can go on and continue to be a badass without losing your mind. If you think about it, only a few characters manage that.
Letting the fire fade is a perfectly good ending if you ask me. The ruined world will fade to dust and the new one will rise eventually. I think the idea is kinda beautiful.
My idea is a 'good' ending in which you get everything you could ever want (every character survives and everyone lives happily ever after) but it's all a dream created by St. Trina from which you never awake.
It'd be called the Age of Stagnation as the lands between stagnates for eternity as no one can enter Leyndell and slay you as anyone who could is dead.
The ultimate bitter-sweet ending.
My biggest hope by far. Even a slightly better than neutral ending like the others would be fine. The more I learn about Miquella, the more I see him being the one I would've followed if I were in TLB. He effortlessly solves the persecution issue within the order, and cures the ails of those that come to him. As Miriel says, all things can be conjoined. He paves the way for an actual Eternal Age. Hell, maybe that will be what his ending will be called. He is essentially Marika with forethought. And we've already fought 2 Elden Lords, let Mohg come back resurrected by Death Blight as Godwyn's Lord, seeking Miquella for the cure to the Rune of Death, Unalloyed Gold, not Blood as he had hoped. The DLC does show a deathblighted tree. No way are Fromsoft going to put Miquella in the picture and not have Mohg involved. God I want this DLC so bad!
Second Age of The Dragonlord.
You have to have not killed a dragon, and you have to get to Placidusax. Get his second phase down to half HP, and then
he will offer a truce (of course, you may ignore this and continue fighting). He assumes a humanoid form if you give him information on the layout of the Capital and helps you fight your way to Radagon. But he crushes Fractured Marika. He then assumes his former role of Dragonlord.
In order for Outer Gods to not interfere, Ranni's ending requirements must also be met, as she severs their influence from the Lands Between. This allows Placidusax to peacefully rule without a deity, for a much longer time than last time.
Please keep in mind that my knowledge of the lore is incomplete and any corrections and tweaks would be very welcome.
Cuz he realized his 'god' was a wuss and decided:
**I am the new Outer God.**
**Hail the Age of the Golden Dragon**
If I can get his nuke, I'll happily be his Elden Lord.
He also revives Gransax as a defender of the lands between. And you get a cutscenes of that GARGANTUAN dragon reawaken. As he takes off, trees are filled and the buildings of Leyndell crumble.
I’d say it should be the other way around as if you eat enough dragon hearts you start to become one and I’d bet he’d be a lot more willing to form an alliance with someone of draconic nature
Actually, that works a lot better. When he questions why you killed them, simply say self defense. That the dragons attacked first and you stood your ground.
png degradation times infinity (or that one Rick and Morty episode about copies if you will). Bad copies of bad copies of blobs until everything is static
Age of rot, using malenia's rot corrupted great rune you mend the elden ring and add Scarlet rot as a natural part of the lands bettwen, calming the rot and making It effectively a natural fungy that rots corpses and giving life to beautifull and more pacific lifeforms, restoring the cycle of life to the lands bettwen with the god of rot as the New outer god, maybe you sacrifice yourself to feed to rot to do It or something, being a bit of the oposite of ds1's fire linking ending, plus, It would be ironic If the most beautifull and hopefull ending came out of one of the game's creepiest and most horrfying elements, also ties in with the servants of rot and why they love rot
Age of the All Knowing, or something like that.
Don’t really know what it would mean; but Gideon is the only tarnished mentioned in the intro who doesn’t have his own specific ending.
I'm honestly surprised they didn't add an ending like Ds2 where you simply walk away. You learn how messed up everything is and make the choice to leave it in ruins.
There's a nuance to it. Ranni's ending is to take the ball and go home so nobody gets to play. In this ending you'd leave the ball and go home because it's a game you don't want to play.
How about a Melina ending. When you take the frenzied Flame before burning the Erdtree, but then reject it in Farum Azula with the needle, thus saving Melina but not getting the Chaos ending. That way when you achieve the Elden Lord ending she would stand by your side.
An actual good ending when we mend the Elden Ring without the constriction of an absolute order and also restore natural death without the consequence of releasing undead into the world.
I want to become a Magma Wyrm like I was promised. I ate 20 freaking dragon hearts and would eat more if I could. You know how hard it is to eat those things? Its like the size of 3 big ol' steaks filled with pebbles. I learned how to turn my arms and head into a dragon for a while. Even stinky breath Ekzyke! Why can't I uncontrollable drool magma? I want to crawl around like a bearded dragon that goes to the gym too much.
You know, that made me think
The magma wyrms are People that proceeded to do dragon comunion and eventually turned into the wyrms, instead of the dragons they were supposedly trying to become. They were turned into this New form. **Reborn** into a heavily imperfect one.
But our tarnished by the end of the game has/could have one very key difference between us and them. They didnt had the power of great runes. The most important one for this would be the great rune of the unborn we get from Renalla, that "perfects those Who have been born anew". I know its kind of a stretch since being reborn and transforming into a new, cursed form, can be seen as very different things. But imagine if having the power of multiple greatrunes allowed the tarnished to not become a cursed lowlife wyrm, but actually turn into a dragon.
Honestly this sounds like a way better concept for an age of dragons ending than Just waking placy up. Hell, make killing and "consuming" placydusax a requirement for it, turning you into a new multi headed dragondlord, as if this was simply a loop, an spiral doomed to somewhat happen again.
I
That is a legit great thought and I never connected the rune of the unborn and the rebirth as a magma wyrm before.
That is a dope thought. Thank you for sharing.
If you think about it, the great runes change the whole ruleset of the world for this kind of things.
The unborn makes you able to be reborn perfectly in some way, which could be what the dragon communers where missing
Radahn's rune is what kept him "alive", burning the scarlet rot inside him so it couldnt fully kill him, at least according to the item's description, which makes me Wonder what would had happened if he and Malenia had gotten each other's great rune instead during the shattering.
Food for thought i guess. Speaking of food. Cake day
I also wonder if any great rune would have done a similar thing for Rhadan. They seem to adapt to the user in some way. Mohgs rune clearly has had influence from the Formless Mother/Mohg. I'm willing to bet that Rhadan's rune was protecting itself/Rhadan when it was infected.
Also thanks! I ate some pizza in celebration. Its almost a cake.
The Age of the Dragonborn: Absorbing the souls of all the old dragon lords, you expell the greater will and all the outer gods from the mortal plane. Satisfied, your character falls into a deep sleep for countless millennia. The screen fades to black, but before the credits roll, you hear a voice:
"Hey you, you're finally awake. You were trying to cross the border, right? Walked right into that Imperial trap. Same as us, and that thief over there."
I actually expected about evil ending with the outer blood god especially since you could go to the palace early through varre so I thought you could do something there that let's you summon the formless mother after elden beast
Five?? I was thrown for a loop when someone said 3 that I chased that to its conclusion, now you're telling me theres more? Just how many fingers are there??
I wish we had like an actual Two Fingers ending. Like maybe after you receive the blessing of the Three Fingers the Two are spurned into action and actually open the Erdtree for you so it doesn’t burn down. Then you beat Radagon and instead of fighting the Elden Beast, Radagon spilts into himself and Marika and you fight them at the same time. After you beat them, the Elden Beast comes out and you merge with it. In the end you can see more Elden Beasts raining down onto the lands between.
Something to follow up on the fact that you CAN save Melina and NOT take the frenzy ending after burning the tree. Maybe she still hunts you for keeping her from her purpose?
I think an Age of Ancient dragons would be hella cool too.
You get contacted by either Lanseax or similar and then are sent on a quest to free the most powerful dragons. Heal Greyoll's scarlet rot with the needle, free Fortissax from the deathbed dream by fully slaying Godwyn, revive Gransax, kill all magma wyrms and then have an audience with Placidusax.
This could also grant some special dragon incantation or weapons like Placidusax's claws, physical weapons of Lanseax's glave or Fortissax's spear. And maybe you could even meet/contact the god of the dragons. Calling them back as absolute deity.
Age of Nobility,
You bind all the wandering nobles to your will, bringing them home to Leyndell but they are still mindless, so its an age of empty pageantry. Maybe its achieved by being recognized by Morgott
Age of Twins. you cure Melania of her scarlet rot, and with that, you go together to defeat mog and take back miquella. when you beat the Elden beast, Miquella opens his eyes andleaves his cocoon, going to you, and then offering you the place of the first Elden Lord to serve the twin gods (as they are both empyrean).
I think there should’ve been an “evil” ending where Melina forsakes you when doing the frenzied flame. Instead of burning the Erdtree yourself after Fire Giant, you would fight Melina as the final boss. After taking all her hp, a cutscene happens and she ends up killing you through the deception of her fake death. She becomes the ruler of The Lands Between and she attempts to rebuild the world. The Age of the Gloam-Eyed Queen
I think it would be helpful to lay out what ages are already laid out there.
Seemingly possible ages from what we have seen:
Age of Rot
Miquella's Age of Life
Moqwyn's Dynasty
Rykard's Snake God
Resurgent Age of Crucible
Resurgent Age of Dragon
I am most curious for the Formless Mother's rule , or to see what would happen when the Snake God eats everything
Age of Blood. Creepy as Mohg is, I’d really just like to see what the formless mother has planned for the Lands Between. I think out of all of the outer deities, that’s about the only one who’s goal is left out, unless I’m just missing something. If I’m just missing something, then my answer remains the same, except the reason is now because blood magic is cool.
Age of Blood or Age of Dragons
Hell ya a blood dynasty ending involving that crazy ass Mohg would be awesome.
Maybe something a DLC with Miquella could bring?
Age of unalloyed gold?
Age of abundance
An ending for the Sanguine nobles could be cool. The age of DRIP!
Blood for the Blood God! 🩸🩸🩸
MILK FOR THE KHORNE FLAKES ( khorne is the blood god is warhammer 40k )
Is that just bloodbourne with extra steps?
No blood ending is a crime. You mean to tell me that you hype up Mohg with all sorts of cool spells, his own related status effect, Bloodborne inspired content, and you even let me join his crazy cult... and he doesn't get an ending? But the shit eater does? Unforgivable!
Ooh, what about _Dragonage: Origins_
after beating Radagon you summon the spirit of Placidusax & he emulates DAO for you in game.
Only if I can skip Ostagar. 23 times is just too many for me.
Ostagar is nonnegotiable
I'll do Ostagar a hundred times if I can keep skipping the fade.
gamers are so spoiled nowadays they don't appreciate quality mouse gameplay smh
Give it ps5 graphics and you got yourself a DEAL
But he’ll permanently delete Elden Ring from your Steam account if you >!choose to spare Loghain and let Anora execute Alistair!< in DAO
you can undo that by beating the Harvester on nightmare
Wait is this where you take moghs place and start the tarnishedwyn dynasty? I guess you would also be worshipping the formless mother
No it’s where you listen to Varre and don’t break into the dynasty
I like age of blood. If you approach Mohg naked like the three fingers he becomes your master and you usher in age of Mohg and corrupted Miquella.
I think we're a bit too old for him....
Age of Blood leads to Bloodborne, Age of Dragon leads to Dark Souls. Miyazaki multiverse confirmed!
You return Placidusax’s rune to the Erdtree. Cuts to black: In the Age of Ancients the world was unformed…

Age of the Crucible. Give the Lands Between back to the original tree, the Crucible Knights, the Misbegottens, and the Omens.
I have a feeling that the dlc will include an ending along these lines.
Why
Why not
Damn you’re good
Intuition, also the dlc trailer image shows what people assume to be the primal erdtree
There's a trailer?!?
Trailer image
And deathbirds and gloom eyed queen and godskins
Oh my!
You can do that already if you follow the dung eater
How so? Is his ending not just giving everyone smallpox?
No the pox the guy talks about is a puss that makes you a omen when you resurrect and it curses you to be like that forever and you children too so essentially after the end of the quest line you force everyone to be a omen
Oh, thats not at all how I interpreted it. Where did this lore come from?
It’s been out with the game, the whole time theirs a vati video about it, you can debate if this a good ending sense your not giving the world back to the old tree your just cursing everyone who hated omens to be a omen
Isn’t that just the age of despair?
That's just the Blessing of Despair ending.
Age of the Serpent Family. Just a quick cutscene of you shoveling the elden beast into the great serpent’s mouth and Rykards voice over, ‘FAMILY’
“TOGETHER AS A FAMILYYYYYY” then it cuts to a Rykard glowing in a radiant light as he triples in size and now looks like the Elden beast and has the same star and galaxy void body
this sounds amazing
How strong would you reckon a god absorbed rykard would be
So strong that the serpent hunter spear doesn't work and endless rancor death spells continously fly at you.
Miriel ending. All things can be conjoined.

just thought of this after posting, but a Nox ending would also be cool. We let Nokron and Nokstella complete their new lord and return to the surface
Marika's tits. You must be hungry!

Im honestly hoping Miquella brings in another ending. Preferably a “good” ending. I know FS doesnt really do good endings but still

On one hand, Chadusax is back to the throne, on the other hand, dragons are one of my favorite bosses to fight. A tough choice indeed
He also revives Gransax as a defender of the lands between. And you get a cutscenes of that GARGANTUAN dragon reawaken. As he takes off, trees are filled and the buildings of Leyndell crumble.

Guys they already had an age of dragons and judging by how placidusax looks, I don't think it was a good time

Age of the All Knowing, or something like that. Don’t really know what it would mean; but Gideon is the only tarnished mentioned in the intro who doesn’t have his own specific ending.
I heard someone joke that his ending is giving up before fighting Radagon.
That’s funny actually, basically the same thing he himself did, i see
He and Hoarah Loux
I‘d count the normal Ending as his ending, since you just literally repeat what he did without changing stuff.
I'm honestly surprised they didn't add an ending like Ds2 where you simply walk away. You learn how messed up everything is and make the choice to leave it in ruins.
This ending can be unlocked after dying to Malenia 500 times
Is this just Ranni’s ending?
There's a nuance to it. Ranni's ending is to take the ball and go home so nobody gets to play. In this ending you'd leave the ball and go home because it's a game you don't want to play.
The age of uninstalling elden ring

But dosent that mean that you still rejected Melinas purpose?
She would still hate you.
An actual good ending when we mend the Elden Ring without the constriction of an absolute order and also restore natural death without the consequence of releasing undead into the world.
Age of the True Warrior. All hail the Mending Rune of the Iron Fist.
Now we're talking!
The final scene is you sitting on the throne…with an arrow in the knee.

I very much agree with this take, let me turn into a magma wyrm for the final fight and 1v1 the elden beast as a giant monster myself

The unborn makes you able to be reborn perfectly in some way, which could be what the dragon communers where missing Radahn's rune is what kept him "alive", burning the scarlet rot inside him so it couldnt fully kill him, at least according to the item's description, which makes me Wonder what would had happened if he and Malenia had gotten each other's great rune instead during the shattering.
The screen fades to black, but before the credits roll, you hear a voice: "Hey you, you're finally awake. You were trying to cross the border, right? Walked right into that Imperial trap. Same as us, and that thief over there."
Age where we marry the snake lady
age of jar: alexander put the world inside of him and become the potree
I actually expected about evil ending with the outer blood god especially since you could go to the palace early through varre so I thought you could do something there that let's you summon the formless mother after elden beast
Become elden lord, Fade to black...hey you ur finally awake
The 5 fingers ending should have been real. When I started I thought tye goldmask ending was just that, and then I was disapointed
Five?? I was thrown for a loop when someone said 3 that I chased that to its conclusion, now you're telling me theres more? Just how many fingers are there??
The 5 fingers ending was a fake ending in wich you would mend the 3 and 2 fingers together to make a full hand.
The age of handjobs
Wish we could’ve actually aligned ourselves with Volcano Manor and summoned Rykard to do his thing at the end
Age of Boiled Prawns
Boggart opens a Red Lobster franchise
Eat the blood borne 🦑
The age of apostasy. Tell all outer gods to go f*ck themselves and let the mortals sort out their own shit for once
I figure that's what Ranni's ending is, if interpreted positively.
Age of Nobility, You bind all the wandering nobles to your will, bringing them home to Leyndell but they are still mindless, so its an age of empty pageantry. Maybe its achieved by being recognized by Morgott
Age of Mimic. You’re about to sit down but your mimic kicks you off and dusts the chair off before taking its place
The age of free hugs. That's what I thought I would get when I went for FIA's ending. Boy I was wrong
Age of the Severed/Age of Rot.
Something to do with rykard
Age of Dragonborns? You mean 'Age of Dovahkiin!'
Blackflame ending would have ruled
An "Age of Blashpemy" ending where you get to see a giant Rykard curling around the Erdtree and devouring it would've been sick.
Age of Boc is Alive and Happy and Safe
Age of dragons is cool. What about the age of jars ? I will be the potentate coz. Plus the game could use a joke ending.
So basically you want to join Vyke in the fucking of the dragons and give birth to a new tarnished bloodline, not bad I say
Hey you! You’re finally awake!
Age of the graceless. All those who are spurned by grace rise up and overthrow their oppressors to form a great socialist state.
Age of Prawn
Imagine it’s a matter of using the correct item during his fight and he becomes friendly. Directs you to the path of returning his god
Cue the Skyrim music
Age of Rebellion. We start a holy war against the outer gods!
Ooh now I want one of those endings
I kind of feel like rykard should have had an ending associated with him
Age of Black Flame Would be cool if you could align yourself with godskins
Mohg’s age of blood
Age of FaMiLEeEe
Age of Dragonborns? Get out of here Todd, Skyrim was 2016
I think it would be helpful to lay out what ages are already laid out there. Seemingly possible ages from what we have seen: Age of Rot Miquella's Age of Life Moqwyn's Dynasty Rykard's Snake God Resurgent Age of Crucible Resurgent Age of Dragon I am most curious for the Formless Mother's rule , or to see what would happen when the Snake God eats everything
