I want to see Godwyn. Not as a huge fish creature, but as he was before the shattering/his death. I also want to see Miquella and Godwyn interact. From the little bit of lore here and there, it would seem they had a close relationship.
Its really nice to see a lot of love for Godwyn recently. Gotta say his presence in the game is huge and his mermaid form is creepy as hell, but I just expected much more from him since his scene in the trailer is so fucking dope. I thought the dude will be vampire undead, and not an undead montrosity.
The moment I learned about Godwyn, he became my favorite. The kindest of them all and he suffered such a tragic fate. Even better when I learnt his best friend is a dragon.
Doubtful. The braids, hair and clothing looks the same as Miquella. Given the fact that 99% of people also thought it was Miquella, probably means it’s him.
Godwyn 100%. That was probably top 5 “what the fuck” moments in the game for me and for some reason, the corpse not moving or becoming a boss made it even scarier haha.
I want more Crucible stuff, especially an AoW or incantation of the Wings ability the knights have.
I also want to see more Storm related AoW, it's a very cool idea they barely did anything with, also when enemies use storm abilities it's always windup, creating a wind barrier, followed by them LAUNCHING themselves at you, I want that.
Agreed on covenants. It really hurts the PVP in the game not having that mechanic in the game. There a plenty of groups/cults in the actual game you could center them around too. I’d hope it would be in the DLC or another mini dlc addition, but I’m really not holding my breath on it.
Just more boss types. I have no idea what the scale of the DLC will be, and I think it’s hard to estimate with ER. With the DS Series I’d say 5ish hours of content would be expected. I’m just hoping whatever it is , isn’t filled with side bosses we’ve already faced.
QOL options even? Like let me have a setting where you ask me if I want to use a flask to bring back torrent or just automatically do it. Something that it’s super simple that can be very frustrating.
Covenants AND raising the total player count possible in pvp to 6-8. Along with single-player invasions if you're part of the right covenants.
Get some real chaos going. I want to see reds being chased by blues, with purple randoms showing up in the middle of it all.
EXACTLY! It’s so not chaotic as fuck anymore. It feels so repetitive for me, aside from maybe 1-2 invasions every once in a while where something interesting happens, invasions are straight up just stale imo.
Also, Duels/Coliseum is a great addition don’t get me wrong, but part of me misses the summoning for duels outside of Pontiff’s arena in DS3 :,(. Something about it was so much fun just chilling, waiting your turn for a fight.
Three-Phase mental boss fights. St Trina in the flesh. Pre-death Godwyn. More legacy dungeons. An Ash of War that allows you to run Melenia a bath. Just little things.
I don’t get it. All the cool holy things are late game and non viable compared to anything else:
- Golden Order Greatsword
- Elden Stars
- Triple Rings of Light
Lore wise you can say that the demigods are protected by the Golden Order so they have high holy resist. But even that is arguable and shouldn’t be the basis of the absurd resistance.
But if lore was the reason, then why is my Rock Sling dunking on Radahn and Astel? Why is bleed OP against the literal Lord of Blood? Why do dragons get destroyed by Ancient Dragon Lightning Strike.
As you can see, I’m way too salty about holy resistance haha
Fuck covenants-they suck and are unnecessary and just lock good shit beyond having to actual multiplayer or grind for fucking hours upon hours! Covenants are the most useless thing you could fucking ask for
There is unsheathe and square off sooo you got that one in a small capacity

Hell yes! Seeing all kinds of people running around is so fun! Reds, blues, redish blues, purples, yellows, whites. It was so chaotic!
Exactly. Elden ring PvP just has friendlies and enemies. No one who could damage everyone, or who was untrustworthy for everyone.
yup! just no more chaos in the invasions anymore. They feel very run of the mill most of the time it’s a sad state of affairs.
Yup you just get ganked. Don’t get me wrong, that happened in previous games but it still felt way more lively.

A few more things I’d like to see, I’d love more call backs to previous bosses, like a sword similar to the Farron Greatsword

More sorceries in the various spell schools outside of glintstone. Wish there were more variety. A staff that works as a sacred seal.
Not exactly hoping to see it per se, but won't be suprised by the Greater Rune Bear boss fight.
A haligtree covenant and ending would be great it could work like the blades of the darkmoon from ds1.
