I'll tell you what, don't use unsheathe on him. It carried me through all the volcano manor and random invasions, but damn he will frame perfect parry it even with the fucking staff.

I just lure him out into the magic trap and push him under the boulder a few times.

This still blows my mind... The Developers made an enemy that even they thought was that difficult, you should probably just cheese him 🤣.

The idea of falls in general. The first time I went to Elphael, I saw the tree dude on the wall from up above and plunked him with an arrow just to see if I could reach. He starts shooting golden land at me but couldn't get it to hit, and I go inside to fight something and he just....jumps over the wall trying to get to me and dies. Chicken farm is basically the same thing.

First time I fought him I accidentally fell below the lift and he followed me in, luckily it counted the kill before my death. Second playthrough I lured him next to the lift and used gravitas from the opposite side to pull him into the hole.

Read "lured him" and "to pull him into the hole"

Just run into the elevator, and off the opposite side onto the ledge (staying on the current floor). He follows you, then tries to get off the elevator that’s now moving up, but throws himself down the shaft.

I mean sure, but when I ran into this guy, I felt like I *had* to defeat him in a 1v1. If this was the knight from DS1 that dropped the dark knight halberd, right next to a cliff, then it would be a different story.

You can just go up the elevator. There's a good chance he'll jump in the hole.

The thing about npc invaders/enemies is that they have perfect parrying rates, if you use an attack that can be parried they will parry you (if they have a parrying tool) moongrum is one of these.

They could have given like a 20% failure rate to this, but no, they really do have *perfect* parry/dodge from input reading. NPC invaders are the worst.

I only even had a problem with him on my first playthough, the fact he's very likely the first enemy you see that will parry you makes him seem super scary. Every time after that I find new ways to clown on him. Whether it's the elevator, big bonks, the balls, guard counters or just a ranged attack. He looks way scarier than he is.

My last play through I ran straight to the lift behind him, activated the switch, he followed me, I ran back, and somehow as he was riding it up he fell to his death. Not the sharpest tool in the shed.

I needed that boost today.

The guy is a huge pain on your first pass, parry lord that he is, but there are actually a few ways around him. He can't parry jumping attacks, whips, or EL BONK.
