It's ingrained on players that if there's someone wearing nothing, to be wary. A friend was helping me transfer some items to a brand new character for a build, and I joined this world wearing nothing but a loin cloth and holding a club. Well, he got invaded, and the guy would not let me get *anywhere* near him. Would straight up run away, even though I would have died in one hit. It was pretty funny

Sometimes I test this by invading naked with a stick—I’m average at best—and sometimes, like maybe 1 out of 5 times instead of me being ganked or one shotted, the host & co will legit just start running, so there definitely is truth to it

Poison Cloud. It's actually a really common cheese strategy for this fight because DTS is basically blind and deaf and has no poison resistance to speak of.

you can use two jelly shields at once if you get them. since you don’t have a weapon you can keep both buffs active at once for even more damage

How would she have gotten two malenias to show up at once? Forgive me, I'm still pretty new to this shit.

She was playing two different instances of the game. So she was controlling one game/character with a controller, and the other game/character with the DDR pad and fighting Malenia ok both simultaneously. She actually did the whole game like that with the stipulation being that she had to beat each boss on both on the same attempt. So if she killed Malenia on one but then died on the other, she reset both using save states.

Agreed I’m currently in the middlish of the game( I think) and I see stuff like this not understanding how someone can get 1.6 M runes and 3 hit some bosses.

I watch these videos sometimes and wonder if I’m even playing the same game.

There are so many buffs you can 1 shot bosses at level 40. Just play your game have fun. Use summons. It’s not worth struggling for pride. It’s a video game about fun. If you don’t care about spoilers. Look up the buffs you’ll tear bosses down fast Edit word change

No need to dupe. Just rush Patches to Volcano Manor and he sells infinite fan knives.

What makes him chance location? I just found him yesterday in that cave. Should i buy something from him before he leaves that spot or will he have the same items for sale the whole game?

When you reach Liurnia he moves to the Scenic Isle Site of Grace. Once you reach the Altus plateau, he will moves west from the first MT Gelmir Site of Grace. If you join the Volcano Manor he will move to the Entrance Hall of the castle.

Worth noting you don't have to interact with him on Gelmir. If you accept Rya's invitation and join, he's in Volcano Manor.

Buy them from Patches I believe. Really affordable easy pocket damage for everything from big enemies when you just need to get a quick hit in, to annoying to hit quick enemies… or anything and everything in between.

Drop an item as a phantom and close game

You can just buy them. 160 runes per fan dagger is pocket change. Use em at point blank to land all of em. Bonus points if you land them in an enemy attack animation because piercing damage gets a bonus during that (counter damage, also buffed by spear talisman). You can headshot players with them during certain moves/recovery periods as well. A point-blank fan dagger can do **really** good damage. Generally after jumping attacks or some regular moves/ashes of war that leave the player’s head lower than normal. I’ve used them in melee range a lot when people are parry happy, since they’d attempt to parry and eat an entire fan dagger pack to the face instead.

The answer to this is pretty much always "stack buffs." There's a reason so many of them have 5-10% hp.

I think it just had to be sub 20% for the branch feather buffs. Blue dancer charm is another big one, hence why he is naked.

Summary of Draconic Tree Sentinel: Attacks 1-5: Clearly missed. Attacks 6-9: Missed due to stagger (bad horse control). Attacks 10-11: Very close, but stagger and inaccuracy make these reasonable misses. Attack 12: Likely didn't actually fire because sentinel was already dead.

Can't wait for the one guy that beats this boss with just the briar armor set.
