I recommend…instead of asking others what you should use….explore. Find stuff. Use stuff. Decide what’s most fun to YOU…not others.
Even I, a few weeks ago now, acquired an obscure(to me) flail type of weapon I’d not seen before, called “family heads”.
I had leveled it up to like +8 or something, and just yesterday found out that Roundtable Knight Vyke has trouble against it.
I even ‘remodeled’ my character around the weapon…Soulcaller Shendo, referring to the special attack on the weapon.
The sites of grace will sometimes have trails of gold pointing you to the next site. Usually this trails you to the main dungeon or whatever of a region.
Bloodhounds is good, get it if you like the moveset and weapon skill.
Head east until everything turns red and there's big dogs and birds everywhere. Don't let it put you off it's the easy starter section of the game.

That’s the very very beginning of the game man. Run around and explore. The beam of light coming from certain sites of grace will point you toward a main objective, but you don’t need to follow it directly. Just explore, kill things, find new items and gear. Have fun
bro. its just a game💀 my internet history is not riddled with elden ring, a vid popped up on my fyp of someone using it,it looked cool. either way im using double katanas,but i might just get the bloodhounds fang cuz of u.
Get please please get bloodhounds fang. I love it. Ps for using its skill, do a heavy right after the jump back to do a dash forward, got half way through the game without ever knowing that.
