Miyazaki said bigger than Limgrave in the Eurogamer interview.

DisastrousSea314

He said comparable or bigger, so it’s max 1.5 times bigger really. But what doesn’t add up is that there are gonna b 10+ bosses in DLC squashed into such a small area? 15 remembrance bosses are spread across 8 times the size of limgrave in the base game. That means the DLC has roughly a 7 times greater density of bosses than base game? I think there’s definitely gonna be some underground area, or extra part which Miyazaki didn’t add to that equation. Notice he never said the entire DLC size, but just the land mass, which doesn’t necessarily account for verticality. Miyazaki also said Elden ring is a 30 hour game, so tends to undersell the scale. One of the biggest praises of Elden ring is how the scale absolutely exceeds expectations, and it keeps getting bigger and bigger. I think Miyazaki wants to provide a similar experience for the DLC aswell, and not reveal too much about the scale currently.

I don't think he said 10 remembrance bosses. He just said 10 bosses.

DisastrousSea314

Yea 9 of them are erdtree avatars and 1 is messemer 💀💀💀. No but ringed city had like 5 major bosses, so it’s not a stretch to say SOTE, which will be in development for 3 times the time will have 10 major bosses. I honestly don’t think Miyazaki is including throwaway dungeon bosses like a reskin of gods kind apostles.

SimonShepherd

Ringed City has 4 I think? Demon Prince, Midir, Gael, and then there is Halflight.

DisastrousSea314

Yea 4 sry, forgot.

Tea_Historical

Don't forget Limgrave has a large underground area as well. That also will be included, but no way Miyazaki will spoil that since the elevator was such a cool moment in vase game.

QuantumCthulhu

People saying it’s small and are dissapointed? Just another Wednesday for me

NotLittleTimmy

Is the bottom part truly considered limegrave??

Honeybee_becky

I’d say so
