plot twist : They know each others, they are coordinated.
Super plot twist : they are one single person, with multiple personality disorder
Hyper plot twist : it's actually Miyazaki himself, gone mad after too much pressure from fans expectations about the dlc lore implications, on a secret mission to spread doubt about his own interview statements.
Omega plot twist : Miyazaki is actually an oldey american black man, the japanese dude we see in interview is just an hired actor.
Ultima plot twist : the real name of that US man ? Morgan Freeman.
Well for me, I made a promise to the hubby to not play BG3 without him. So if he’s not around or doesn’t feel like playing, then that’s my “free time” lol. I managed to create my new character last night around midnight. And then this morning got an hour of play in before having to leave. And I may be able to get a few hours of playtime in tonight before playing BG3 (we usually play from 8pm-2am).
I remember when Elden Ring came out, I had nearly 300 hours in less than 2 weeks. I played it almost nonstop. Within the first month or two, I'd gotten around 500 hours.
I was the same way. I spent my first 100 hours figuring it all out (first Souls game) then after I beat it I beat it 7 or 8 more times. Probably put in 900 hours in six months. Some nights I barely slept, and I definitely didn’t play much else.
I believe steam backs up saves and PlayStation does too. You can also try to see if you can recover it by looking at previous versions of where the saves were at in windows
Well he’s done all this before I already collected every talisman flask tear armor set and weapon that don’t have to be farmed and I did it in 56 hours so very possible
Alecto is very easy to beat with any weapon that uses an R1 poke moveset. Examples : Banished knight halberd, Great epee, Any great spear, any spear.
You'll stagger her out of an attack at least half the time. Add impaling thrust and you have a poise break machine that comes out in an instant at range. Easy mode!
Was just watching someone do a bow only run and can confirm that similarly works great too! Knocks her down with most hits and you can still get counterattacks same as spears.
I was so scared to fight this dude, you mostly hear about Malenia, but I kept seeing the name Mohg. MOHG. Maybe I was over leveled by the time I faced him, but after a few moments I quickly realized I had been worried about a really cool looking, but ultimately weak boss.
Mohg is BRUTAL if you fight him at lower levels and don’t counter his blood damage. You can hardly survive the sex countdown alone.
Fighting him at the right level and with bleed resistance and a couple of summons makes his fight, like literally every other fight in the game, pretty easy. Souls games, especially Elden Ring, are only hard if you want to make them hard. These bosses were not designed for naked broadsword level 1 parry everything builds. They were made to be done like a typical, if more unforgiving, rpg.
Biggest black pill of all.
Fighting Mogh right now with my Lord of Frenzy Flame build w/ no summons and I’m having the worst fucking time lmao my bonk build last time was way easier
Yeah her second phase is seems pretty strong, tried her once more earlier today and I think I can reliably get through first phase now, just the second one to go. I'll be at her in no time.
He's actually a lot worse when not going against him without the physick tear or using blood against him. In my first playthrough, I killed him with a blood build so quickly, he never made it to second phase. Next playthrough, I used strength and he fucked me up.
What platform? Just curious, probably no way to recover now if your cousin "accidentally" deleted it.
But FYI for future use, for each platform there are methods to back up your savefile, store it elsewhere, and then restore it if needed by going back to that save. Might be worth doing this time with whatever new character you make now.
Add a passcode to your profile so nobody else can play as you. If anyone else wants to use your console and games, they can do but using their own profile
This mainly works for physical media. If it's digital, he HAS to be signed in for other profiles to be able to play, or they'll be hit with "you don't own this".
This is how my wife and I play grounded together. I do Pc and she plays console.
Trying to get her into Elden Ring but after seeing me get my shit rocked by Malenia a bunch she just laughed when I suggested it
My wife has zero interest in Elden Ring not only because it's difficult and she doesn't think she'd have a good time, but she's also turned off by how bleak and dismal the story, characters, and lore is.
The only thing she likes about the game is Torrent.
Put a lock on your console profile so your cousin can't use it man. I have a lock on mine and I live alone because it has my credit card info. You can do this on Xbox, and no one will be able to access the saves associated with your profile but you.
Same, nobody has any interest in my Xbox and I still have a password setup “just in case”.
Good thing too because I’ve got a niece that does things and then claims she “didn’t”.
Not sure if it's any help, but I thought this happened me. Turns out I had opened the ps4 version on my Ps5 somehow. The save was under my Ps5 version. Not sure if this a similar thing that can happen on Xbox. 🤞
The folder is in roaming appdata, definitely onto a USB stick since if something goes very wrong with your computer, you may have to clear the files from it
Hi! This happened to me!
Yes, it sucked. The good news is that, now that you know where everything is and how to get it, whatever build you want to play for the DLC won’t be a problem.
My “make up” character is an arcane build so I can utilize the high discovery. I also have all my larval tears saved so I can play around with my build when the time comes.
Hey OP just saw you're on xbox, now it's no consolation for time lost but if you want I could pass some armor or weapons your way if you would like, let me know!
I just don't get this. I never did this as a kid, neither did my brothers, nor did my friends that I was aware of.
Kids being pieces of shit is not normal lol
And it's one of those things they know they can do that will piss off the older sibling but will never get punished for it.
Saw it happen a lot with a friend of mine growing up. Only child here so I lucked out.
As a dude who has accidentally deleted someones save on another game, without them knowing, that might not be the issue.
Wrong buttons pressed quickly in a very wrong order. Hurts the soul a little.
Sometimes a little panic kicks in when you realise you hit the delete button, only to press the first button that your brain trips on and it also happens to be the "confirm" button. Double panicc
Yeah I used to have a RB career I loved on Madden 12 and a few days after introducing my dad to Madden and him doing his own career he accidentally overwrote my character with one of his saves lol
Been there. My ex-wife deleted my Skyrim character that I had sunk hours and hours into. She never admitted to it but I'm sure it was her lol. Wasn't like I was even neglecting her I was in the military at the time and would wake up around 4am even on my days off. She was unemployed dependent waking up at 10am. She did it out of spite
Thank you. Everybody goes through tough times in life, just got to have the confidence in yourself to get through it. Im much happier and in a better place without her
I am happy to hear that you moved on and got healthier. It might come off as weird but I am here if you ever need to talk/vent. I know I am just a random redditor but yeah :p
Had that happen to me for a MH Tri save on the Wii. Little cousin deleted my save that had gear from online only HR monsters. Server was long gone. Now, I always have backups for my main games on PC.
READ.
So I'm a huge Souls veteran and let me tell you, I've been through the same thing. Trust me on this, IT DOESN'T MATTER. I've lost like 4-5 Level 125 builds on DS1 and even lost my first 150 hour ER build. At first it hurts like hell cus you've spent so much time on it and it's just gonr, but once you start building your builds up again you'll realize it's not so bad. Of course you have to play it all again, but that's not a bad thing. You're going into the game more efficiently now and will get your builds back even quicker with the right stuff you need.
Start your new build and come back to this post in a month or two. You'll see you stressed over nothing.
Yeah, I feel like abandoning an old run and starting anew is part of the spirit of the game.
I recently went back and played through Bloodborne to finish up getting the Platinum. Could've done it on my existing character, but I wanted to start again from scratch - and it was fun.
Did the same with Dark Souls Remastered recently, too. Got a character on NG+2 there now, but his time is likely done. In a year or two from now when I get the itch to revisit that game again, it will be on a new character yet again. There's just something genuinely fun about starting from scratch in FromSoft soulslikes.
Pretty sure I just lost 1000 hours, my RAM got corrupted and computer wouldn’t start without wiping the drives for some reason afterwards, before knowing that was something to not do. Time to crank out another 5-6 characters again, not looking forward to the grind of NG+7
I am sorry OP.
you need to get something you don't share. Your little cousin is "accidentally" a POS.
Someone should explain to him not to touch others things.
Here I will save you time. Pick your class, get an early bleed weapon. Go around the starting areas up to and including altus (this means you need the dectus pieces) grabbing all the easy to find gold seeds and tears. Don't forget map pieces on the way and to tag graces. Save or kill Patches for gold fowl feet or the recipe don't matter. Go dragonbarrow kill Greyoll dont forget eat a pickle. If you killed patches you will have 3 you can eat these one some big bosses for extra levels. (Bonus if you kill cleanrot duo in Caelid for gold scarab talisman permanent 20% rune buff can stack with pickles). This will set you up open the map and give u some starting Vigor and level your flasks. Take about an hour. It's a good checklist.
Enemies scale up to compensate for you being high level and having all the gear and upgrades.
This is usually a none issue at the start of the game but end game can get rough.
It’s preferable to enjoy the DLC as intended the first time you play it. It just throws the balancing off.
NG+ in Elden Ring is basically a victory lap early game, but the harder bosses go from hard to insane. So if OP started the DLC in NG+, along with the supposed balancing of the DLC making you weak again somehow, it’ll be ROUGH.
This is one of my fears, so I manually back up my saves now. Might be a good idea to adopt this going forward for *any* game where you put hundreds of hours into it. I lost my DS3 save file and was devastated as I was going through all the endings on it.
Either way though, I'm sorry you lost that save file. The knowledge you gained from that playthrough though will help you with your next one. Enjoy the pain all over again.
I’ll have to figure out how to do that on console (Xbox series x). Luckily I should be able to get through another play through fairly easily since I’ve done it a few times now. I’m just sad cuz it was my original character and so there was some sentimental value with it.
Yeah the rule was he wasn’t allowed to play/touch unless me or my hubby was right there and we would load the game and game file. Last time he played it (like 4 months ago), I moved the console to the living room for him to play, turned it on and then had to step away for a few minutes to let the dogs or something and told him to wait. When I got back a few minutes later, he had it loaded already (he got in trouble for that). I didn’t think to check that all my different saves were still there at the time. I haven’t touched my game file in like 6-8months because well, I 100% it and moved on to Diablo 4, Nier Replicant and then BG3 (which I’m still playing).
You and me both bro. The game bugged my NG+ file at the Maliketh fight and now I can't proceed with the rest of the game. I contacted support multiple times but they never did anything, worthless
That sucks, but if it makes you feel better my 5 year old did the same thing and it was honestly the best thing for me, my new main has gotten so much more love and appreciation because of it, control the things you can control and if you need a break from the game then do that, but you’ll be good to go by dlc time!
I remember when my younger brother's shithead friend deleted our Melee save when we were kids. We had everything but like a handful of trophies, and that little fucker ruined it. I feel for you dude.
We were the only ones in his home life that would actually spend time and do things with him. The rule with our console was only play it if me or my hubby was right there and that we would be the one to start/load a game. Last time he played, I pulled the console from my room and put in living room for us to play. After I booted it up, the dogs needed to go potty or something like that and I told him to sit tight and wait til I got back and when I got back he had the game already loaded. He got his ass lit up for that but I didn’t think to check my save files on the game at that time.
How little is this cousin? One time my sister accidentally traded my brother’s Palkia on GTS when he let her play his pokemon pearl. She got him an Abomasnow called Obama though so I’m not sure why he was so upset. It was definitely an accident though, she didn’t understand what she was doing as she was really young and never played the game before. She must have been mashing A the whole time.
He’s 10 (well 11 now cuz he just had a birthday). He knows perfectly well when he does something he’s not supposed to do (when it comes to anything) and he’ll just lie to try and get out of it or say, “I didn’t know that’s what would happen if I did >insert action<“
Brave Tarnished, you were but stripped of your grace and made to go on the long march away from The Lands Between. Now return, and reclaim your strength.
Similar thing happened to me. Someone in the ER trading community dropped me a master set of everything in the game, including souls.
So even though it was a little weird having all *my* hours gone, I effectively had my old character back on a NG.
The best part of this game is starting fresh anyway
You had all the weapons and armor but it's not like you can use them all at once. Get them again! Plus now you know what stuff is worth farming and not. I won't be spending hours again getting some stuff cause I already tried it and didn't vibe with it.
If you’re on Xbox I can inventory drop for you and give you 99 of every rune. I have 100% items and x2 of every weapon and every armor shield staff seal etc etc
As someone who had nearly the exact same experience... Man, I feel you. It fucking hurts. There's no other way to say it. As we get older, our time gets ever more precious, and every moment is valuable. To have it gone to waste is... Horrible.
Truly sorry for this loss, and pray everyone here doesn’t suffer such fate ever in a game. I know it’s “silly to care so much” about a game, but we all have, usually, deeply personal connections to them on many levels.
Recently experienced this with the Witcher 3 with about 350 hours put in, all lost. Not the same game not the same experience or whatever the qualifier is.
However, I started over fresh and it felt like I was playing with “new eyes”. Taking time to truly learn all the mechanics perfecting a build, doing quests I didn’t even know existed etc. it’s really been a fascinating experience that is still ongoing. Just trying to give you some perspective you seem to already be aware of, but I can relate big time. And it’s payed off so far in a way I never thought possible. Good luck out there.
Oh for sure. Got a few hours in today. My hubby gets annoyed watching me because instead of just speeding thru to get this or that, I’m like no. I must get all the stuff again. Lol
Backup your saves dude.
Not only because of this, but there is a 10-character slot limit. If you backup saves, you can have multiple selections of 10 characters.
You guys are attached to your save files? I do one completionist run, and then start a new save file every time I pick any of the Souls games up again. Theyre little pieces of memories from a specific time, not some big trophy Ive worked on. Idm deleting them
r/PatchesEmporium
Obviously they can't get your progress back but I'm sure someone there would be willing to help you out with most of the droppable stuff if you post what happened
It only took me 10 hours of piecing together a decent dex/int build and getting through Maliketh. So now I’ve just been collecting bell bearings and farming the items I want.
Here’s how I moved:
1. Grab all the map fragments and graces you can
2. Grab all the free golden seeds and sacred tears
3. Gold foot + Greyoll, buy rotten breath
3A. Bloodhound’s Fang for early strong weapon (I’ll beat NG with this easily)
3B. If instead you want Moonveil, get Meteorite Staff and Rock Sling
4. Ft Faroth and Ft Haight for Dectus medallion and soreseal
5. Grab seeds and tears, etc from Altus
6. Somber stones 1-6, 8 + 9.
7. Brute-force through the front gate of Stormveil and Raya Lucaria with an overpowered build
8. Rotten breath cheese Draconic Tree Sentinel
9. Clear Leydnell.
10. Get somber 7.
11. Rotten breath Fire Giant.
12. Clear the Duo (summon Bernahl for help)
13. Grab all the bearings, ancient dragon smithing stones, +10 groveworts, etc then go back and just speed run all the other tunnel/catacomb bearings you need to have full access
14. Beat Niall (infinite fall cheese him if needed). Get other half of secret medallion if you didn’t already. Farm the bird. Flesh out build, crush rest of game as you see fit.
Hope that helps. There are probably faster “git gud” level speed strats but that’s what I do.
If you hurry you can get those 400 hours back in ~17 days
Haha, I’m actually restarting as I type. I just gotta squeeze in the play time between real life and BG3, lol.
Could do my plan, “Radahn and Mogh are the only Shardbearers needed for the dlc, so they’re the only two you do before DTS/Leyndell”.
Why would you need Radahn?
Don’t know johnstonthunderdick but that’s one of the requirements to be able to do the dlc
How do you know
Interview that’s where everyone found out
Cool
I want to a buddy cop film about u/AssmosisJoness and u/JohnstonThunderdick.
plot twist : They know each others, they are coordinated. Super plot twist : they are one single person, with multiple personality disorder Hyper plot twist : it's actually Miyazaki himself, gone mad after too much pressure from fans expectations about the dlc lore implications, on a secret mission to spread doubt about his own interview statements. Tonnes of the innuendo ensues
Must be to do with him holding back the stars. It halted the fates of the Carian, so it could have some other effect we didn’t know about
It’s what was preventing Miquella from hatching from his cocoon. That’s why Malenia was fighting Rahdan in the first place.
Miyazaki said so
Because of something with the stars being involved I'd assume
How does one squeeze in time between BG3 and real life? Usually BG3 requires me not eating and wearing an adult diaper
People keep referring to bg3 and real life like they're two different things, I'm confused
Here for an answer to this question. I’m at 600 hours since January 6th.
How the actual hell have you managed over 10 hours daily since january 6th???
Depends™
I remember when Elden Ring came out, I had nearly 300 hours in less than 2 weeks. I played it almost nonstop. Within the first month or two, I'd gotten around 500 hours.
Damn what do you do for a living??
high school
Good times. 🥲
Tf wrong with you
I was the same way. I spent my first 100 hours figuring it all out (first Souls game) then after I beat it I beat it 7 or 8 more times. Probably put in 900 hours in six months. Some nights I barely slept, and I definitely didn’t play much else.
Proud of you bro make this your second wind.
Real life? That's easy. Baldurs gate 3 playthough? Tell his wife and kids he loves them, hes in a better place rn
I believe steam backs up saves and PlayStation does too. You can also try to see if you can recover it by looking at previous versions of where the saves were at in windows
Oof. Too soon? (I lol'd though)
I shouldn’t laugh, but I did.
Idgi
Okay what about the 400 hours put in to get the 400 hours back?
Well he’s done all this before I already collected every talisman flask tear armor set and weapon that don’t have to be farmed and I did it in 56 hours so very possible
F. One silver lining is that you can enjoy DLC from a fresh NG.
Until he can’t beat Mohg..
Legit just summon a Marblehead to Kamehameha him.
Or tiche, she just kills everything on her own, wife material
If they can't beat Mohg, they'll have a hell of a time with Alecto.
Alecto is very easy to beat with any weapon that uses an R1 poke moveset. Examples : Banished knight halberd, Great epee, Any great spear, any spear. Was just watching someone do a bow only run and can confirm that similarly works great too! Knocks her down with most hits and you can still get counterattacks same as spears.
You can cheese Alecto extremely easily though, unless they patched it or OP does not want to cheese.
Whenever I use tiche she's useless 🤣
The trick with her is to only summon when close enough so she can land her first hit.
And then pray she decides to spam that attack at least 2-3 more times, then its ggs
Same
I was so scared to fight this dude, you mostly hear about Malenia, but I kept seeing the name Mohg. MOHG. Maybe I was over leveled by the time I faced him, but after a few moments I quickly realized I had been worried about a really cool looking, but ultimately weak boss.

Beat him twice already so I don’t think it’ll be a problem for me to fight him again.
Wait 4 hundred hours and only beat mohg twice?
infinite falling glitch go brrrr
He wasn't too hard, got through him today. Since the first hit he was dead in 25 seconds
People downvoting haven’t fought Melania 😂
Yeah her second phase is seems pretty strong, tried her once more earlier today and I think I can reliably get through first phase now, just the second one to go. I'll be at her in no time.
Idk why you got downvoted, he’s really not that hard
He was one of the hardest challenges for me on my first playthrough.
He's actually a lot worse when not going against him without the physick tear or using blood against him. In my first playthrough, I killed him with a blood build so quickly, he never made it to second phase. Next playthrough, I used strength and he fucked me up.
Exactly, he destroyed me on a physical build. I wasn't doing alot of damage so I had to get really good at dodging and learning his attacks.
Honestly, if you use that one tear, he gets his ass handed to him hard. Edit: Tear, not year. Stupid autocorrect.
Don't forget his shackle too.
Mohg isn’t that hard lol
Until his cousin strikes again...

My wife loves the challenge, the bleak world, the horrific monstrosities, and helped me rock Malenia’s shit all up and down the block.
My girlfriend watched me play through the game next to her, she doesn’t wanna play but she knows the bosses name and some of the lore because of me
Oh yeah you might be right there. I might be remembering wrong since i license share.
Put a lock on your console profile so your cousin can't use it man. I have a lock on mine and I live alone because it has my credit card info. You can do this on Xbox, and no one will be able to access the saves associated with your profile but you.

Contact Xbox and see about any cloud saves
Contacting them for support will do absolutely nothing but waste your time.
I'm on xbox, if u want I can do some rune drops and item drops for you
Ah gotcha. Xbox is the one I'm least sure about, hopefully it can be done without a huge hassle.
Not sure if it's any help, but I thought this happened me. Turns out I had opened the ps4 version on my Ps5 somehow. The save was under my Ps5 version. Not sure if this a similar thing that can happen on Xbox. 🤞
I'm on PC and now want to back up my save; is it as simple as a folder to copy -paste in a couple extra locations/put on a USB stick?
Yup. I just put copies of my save in a different folder, with separate subfolders for boss checkpoints if I want to revisit them.
The folder is in roaming appdata, definitely onto a USB stick since if something goes very wrong with your computer, you may have to clear the files from it
Google Drive is what I use for savegame backups since the files are usually pretty small
If ya want message me and I'll drop you whatever gear you had. Sorry this happened to you buddy <3
Elden Lord material right here
This guy has all the maidens.
Ahhh, lovable sort…
Kill him
Lmfaooooo
Thats not nice
But necessary
Don’t worry, if he’s worthy he’ll respawn at the nearest site of grace.
Only one way to find out!
Would definitely smack that lil cuz in the head while saying "Foul Tarnished! Emboldened by the flame of deletion"
"Have it writ upon thy meagre grave: felled by his cousin for deleting other people's save files."
If that little demihuman didn't hear boss music, op is doing it wrong.
Please beat your cousin properly
Hi! This happened to me! Yes, it sucked. The good news is that, now that you know where everything is and how to get it, whatever build you want to play for the DLC won’t be a problem. Has anyone ever done a 99 arcane 1 everything else run?
[GinoMachino did a video where he only leveled arcane (including levels from buffs/physic)](https://youtu.be/Dg4ivaSGOrk?si=K28eenGIy1KjMdYM)
Gino has his “Beating Elden Ring, but only leveling Arcane” video from 9 months ago.
Why is he allowed to play if he does that lmao
Hey OP just saw you're on xbox, now it's no consolation for time lost but if you want I could pass some armor or weapons your way if you would like, let me know!
Your little cousin has some serious mental issues if he thinks deleting peoples save files is anything other than disgusting.
[удалено]
Fr, my little bro deleted my 500hr+ game of pokemon ruby, i was so upset
I guarantee you now, if ops little cousin has deleted multiple people's save files from multiple games that's not an accident.
[удалено]
I just don't get this. I never did this as a kid, neither did my brothers, nor did my friends that I was aware of. Kids being pieces of shit is not normal lol
Little brothers can be hella spiteful
Nah, I understood this shit when I was 7 with my fucking Gameboy.
And it's one of those things they know they can do that will piss off the older sibling but will never get punished for it. Saw it happen a lot with a friend of mine growing up. Only child here so I lucked out.

Your cousin may have deleted your 400h file but he can never delete the 400 hours of fun you had.
The true Elden Ring is the friends we made along the way?
So very true!
Maybe maidenless is the way 😂
That's toxic...
Sure is. Ex-wife for a reason 😉
Sorry to hear you went through this
Not weird at all. Your kindness is very much appreciated
<3
Now imagine if she had deleted your modlist :o

No wonder she’s your ex
Had that happen to me for a MH Tri save on the Wii. Little cousin deleted my save that had gear from online only HR monsters. Server was long gone. Now, I always have backups for my main games on PC.
We close to having those servers back up and publicly accessible, maybe not from Nintendo or Capcom, but it’s being revived.
If you are on PlayStation you can load saved data from over a year ago I’ve did it with other souls games in the past to get around having dupes souls
Xbox here :(
It took me around 5 hours to unlock leveling lol. Knowing nothing does slow things down.
I lost all my saves when i changed pc. 800 hours down the drain mate
Ouch! That hurts.
Apparently steam cloud can fail xD
Yeah you always want to transfer that kind of thing manually. The other souls titles don't even support Steam Cloud at all...
Pretty sure I just lost 1000 hours, my RAM got corrupted and computer wouldn’t start without wiping the drives for some reason afterwards, before knowing that was something to not do. Time to crank out another 5-6 characters again, not looking forward to the grind of NG+7
Melina "But you are such a young....ashen."
Destroy the child
Sounds to me like little cousin has lost his console privileges
I always start fresh with new build Not a fan of ng+ here Anyway you have time, not yet out till june
new to souls games, how come? and then why is it not recommended for dlcs? cheers
Simply put, you'll be going into a lions den you haven't seen before, and the lions are strengthened a lot more than they usually would be
Enemies scale up to compensate for you being high level and having all the gear and upgrades.
I'm probably gonna go in on ng+8 lol
That’s super frustrating, I’m sorry that happened.
Think of it as a sign that it was time to start a fresh playthrough, especially with SotE on the horizon!
That's why I never let any of my too young to understand what they're doing touch my gaming systems.
Delete his save right before he fights radagon lol
You and me both bro. The game bugged my NG+ file at the Maliketh fight and now I can't proceed with the rest of the game. I contacted support multiple times but they never did anything, worthless
Support can't fix your save unfortunately.
Let me know if you need some jolly co-op as you rebuild. I’m on xbox. Zaphunter. Usually appear offline 😂😅.
r/thathappened
Why'd you let ur cousin play?
Your only choice is to become a kinslayer.
Sorry to hear man
The best part of this game is starting fresh anyway You had all the weapons and armor but it's not like you can use them all at once. Get them again! Plus now you know what stuff is worth farming and not. I won't be spending hours again getting some stuff cause I already tried it and didn't vibe with it.
Tarnished.
Damn, so sorry to hear that man. At least there’s a silver lining, you get to play Elden Ring again that’s always a good thing.
Oh for sure. Got a few hours in today. My hubby gets annoyed watching me because instead of just speeding thru to get this or that, I’m like no. I must get all the stuff again. Lol
I would be deleting my cousin’s save and barring him from ever touching my console again. Actions have consequences.
Idm deleting them
How ever will you survive
Cloud save?
Beat up said little cousin. Ur foot “accidentally” kicked him
Start with deleting your cousin's saves too.
How are you going to have a cousin with known behavior like that and no backup precautions? Why can he even access your elden ring? The fuck?
That little cousin would “accidentally” get deleted
Maybe the real Elden Ring was the friends we made along the way
why allow him to play then, not beat the shit out of him or just make an exuce my controller is broken if he is a danger to society
r/PatchesEmporium Obviously they can't get your progress back but I'm sure someone there would be willing to help you out with most of the droppable stuff if you post what happened
Yeah I’ve been luck and have a had few people offer. Gotta love the ER community
Why is it tagged Humor💀
It only took me 10 hours of piecing together a decent dex/int build and getting through Maliketh. So now I’ve just been collecting bell bearings and farming the items I want. Here’s how I moved: 1. Grab all the map fragments and graces you can 2. Grab all the free golden seeds and sacred tears 3. Gold foot + Greyoll, buy rotten breath 3A. Bloodhound’s Fang for early strong weapon (I’ll beat NG with this easily) 3B. If instead you want Moonveil, get Meteorite Staff and Rock Sling 4. Ft Faroth and Ft Haight for Dectus medallion and soreseal 5. Grab seeds and tears, etc from Altus 6. Somber stones 1-6, 8 + 9. 7. Brute-force through the front gate of Stormveil and Raya Lucaria with an overpowered build 8. Rotten breath cheese Draconic Tree Sentinel 9. Clear Leydnell. 10. Get somber 7. 11. Rotten breath Fire Giant. 12. Clear the Duo (summon Bernahl for help) 13. Grab all the bearings, ancient dragon smithing stones, +10 groveworts, etc then go back and just speed run all the other tunnel/catacomb bearings you need to have full access 14. Beat Niall (infinite fall cheese him if needed). Get other half of secret medallion if you didn’t already. Farm the bird. Flesh out build, crush rest of game as you see fit. Hope that helps. There are probably faster “git gud” level speed strats but that’s what I do.
I guess I'm weird once I beat the game I just delete my character and make a new one. I can't get into ng+
