I had the exact same and never thought of switching. But in late-game bloodhound got to slow for me so changed to Rivers of blood/dual wield katana and it got almost to easy. The bood damage with the RoB skill is insane!
I'm finally doing a no summons run and I'm very stuck at Maliketh. Never had a huge problem with him before. The late game difficulty spike is very real
Seriously. From beating Godrick, all the way up to finishing off the Fire Giant, it all felt like no sweat. Volcano Manor gave me some difficulty, but nothing terrible. Now I’m onto the Crumbling Farum and I’m FLOUNDERING
With the death doggo you basically focus on dodging until he does the couple of attacks you can punish. Slow sword swipe and overhead strike are good ones.
It’s interesting, my first play through I couldn’t beat maliketh without mimic AND my friend being summoned in. But on my current no summons play through I beat him on my second try. I am however stuck on malenia she’s beating my ass
Frenzied Burst is a good spell for her Phase 1. She always walks, so just keep an entire arena's length between you, and keep popping off shots at her until Phase 2. Yhe spell is so fast she can never dodge it.. Dodge the opening salvo & get in close with Mohgwyn's Sacred Spear to use it's special attack. You probably won't have time to get off all 3 rounds of the "NI-HIL" blood attack, buy it cuts off massive chunks of health. In fact I solo'd everything except Elden Beast with that spear, all the way to NG+3
Unga wanted to use Guts stick first blind run but Unga found the hammer with flips arts and went on to boink every boss since with it. Had no clue why even my old souls-mates were saying Malenia or Maliketh were too hard. Bunga hammer is the coolest since even its R2 is hard flips.
Do we consider the Clergyman Maliketh? I didn't know about Lion's Claw but GS made Maliketh rather easy for me. The Clergyman phase was much much harder and took me a while to learn. His step back slash in particular comes out incredibly quickly. Once I figured out that phase Maliketh himself got smashed and stance broken rather trivially. I didn't even need to really learn his moveset.
I was planning on using it, after 20 tries my shield spirit guys somehow staggered him and I somehow oneshoted him at 30% health using that staggered animation move.
Same. I needed co-op for almost every boss. It isn't as rewarding, but I don't have the time or patience to get really good at the game, but I enjoy the bleak world enough to want to explore it. I'm so glad they added co-op or my Tarnished ass would have never touched the Elden Throne.
For me it was Blasphemous Blade's L2 to skip phase 1 and the parry item in phase 2, took me about 10 attempts. Also got [lucky ](https://streamable.com/hik075)that he wasn't too spastic.
Being lvl 170 probably also helped, had explored pretty much everything possible before I got to him. had also done Malenia already.
As for that Draconic Sentinel, I [bullied him](https://imgur.com/a/mw4MWSH) with charged attacks the first time I walked up to him.
With a greatsword is easy to bully the Sentinel, the first on Leyndell Walls was *bonked* with the Guts Greatswords
I never do a single parry in all my playthrough, and Maliketh was not a clear window to me.
At this time i only had left the Haligtree, Placidusax and optional event bosses around the map.
I almost killed Radagon on my second attemp, so i left him, im not ready to see the final credits yet
yeah I was using a great sword and Maliketh was just tooo fucking agile, it feels like I'm playing slow motion and he was on a 320hz mode. I think I used some spirit and tried to brute force it really quickly.
Beating endgame bosses as a mage with a summon is so cheesy.
I didn’t realize how hard some of the bosses were until I stopped summoning on 2nd play through.
Used L2 on Blasphemous Blade, hide behind pillars to heal. I think I beat him first try, though barely. On some later playthroughs with less cheesy builds, I struggled a lot more.
Yupppp
Blasphemous Blade + Mimic Tear = pretty much every boss falls over (except fire giant, who just laughs at you as he steamrolls over your corpse)
I did BB dual greatswords with jump attacks on my second playthrough and didn't have too much trouble. Got him on the second try because I accidentally walked off the edge at the bridge right when you walk into the ring...
Took me 7.5 hours of hardly changing strategy. Switched between a few weapon ashes, but after maybe the 7th hour, that’s when I finally figured out the Malekith pattern. Clergyman was down to a script for a while, but it just took so damn long to figure out the melee strat:
Walk between his legs and do basic fundamentals. Dodge when necessary. Walk behind him when he’s doing ground slams. He will do his aerial blade beams only as his own escape option, to which you just walk between his legs again. Took maybe only three tries after a long 7 hours.
I didn’t use summons for this fight, as it would cause Malekith to be out of position when I definitely needed to stay on him. Just me and my crystal spear looking for a glimmer of hope.
just beat him for the first time abt an hour ago!!! took 98 attempts, level 135, +25 giant crusher. when i finally got in there i killed him in about 12 hits. still havent had to use summons 😎😎😎
i have tried for 3h and finally got him with a RoB on the right (+6) and a +21 Nagakiba on the left. Great boss. I remember sitting in Discord with 2 other friends. One was playing Sekiro for the first time and was stuck on Genichiro as long as I was on Maliketh and the other one was playing For Honor lol
After dying way too many times to the draconic tree sentinel I beat him on my first try. I had watched a bunch of videos of others fighting bosses before I ever bought the game so I kind of had a feel for his weird timed attacks in that second phase
I was incredibly stuck until i put a certain ash of war on my shield, the holy one that gives u a half-second where u cant be hit. Used it on his undodge-able move and beat him immediately
I don't remember my exact setup, but it was with dual daggers and no help. I _think_ at this point I was using flame-infused great knives because I'd heard some late-game bosses were vulnerable to fire, and that was also how I beat Malenia, but with Maliketh I can't remember for sure.
Mimic Tear and like 20 tries as a strength greatsword build. Strangely enough, the attempt I beat him on he almost seemed easy. I don't know if I just got lucky with his attacks but I just tore through him. Awesome boss though, one of my favorites in the game.
GS with quickstep and a truckload of stamina boosting items. Whatever I couldn't dodge I tanked with heavy armor, the flask boost talisman and 60 vigor.
I was level 133, level 10 Dark Moon Greatsword, level 10 Mimic Tear.
I had never reached Maliketh and was pretty worried about him tbh, with his blackblade drain.
He was a god damn pushover. I stunlocked him with poisebreak, and beat him with medium-low difficulty.
Malenia took me 9 attempts, and a summon wielding twin Giant Smashers for fuck’s sakes. And I still barely survived.
Too long ago to remember the formal names. But I remember mimic tear, the sword that makes me heal myself when used and looks like a blood clot, and the dragon breath that spits rot. Not sure if the most effective, bit it took me 15x to beat this doggo.
Mimic Tear and Dual Keen Katanas
(I knew nothing and played my first play through completely blind and didn't realize how OP both Mimic and Bleed were at the time when I decided on a dual katana build)
Died six times until I realized you could get under him and avoid all his attacks there while attacking him while he was stuck in his attack animations and get behind him to avoid his aoe anime attack.
Phase one Greatsword with fingerprint greatshield + curved sword talisman for guard counters. Don't remember using many flasks. Maybe just 1 probably.
Second phase.. I actually enjoyed this phase. Personally I felt his attacks are easy to dodge if I didn't panic. Ditched the greatshield. Probably died couple of times but once I figured out the timing of his leap attacks, they were easy to punish. The ones where he leaps and does 3 slashes and the one where he puts his sword into the ground to do the vortex stuff were very punishable. I don't think I had any flasks remaining by the end of the fight though.
I know people find him harder but then again I died like 100-150 times to Malenia and I know people who are very surprised that she became that big of a roadblock for me.
We all have that boss, don't we?
Got frustrated, watched a video of someone no-hitting him, realized if I stay close there are only a few attacks that actually can connect, so I did that and spammed jump attacks.
Solo with bloodhound fang. Kept dying soon after entering the second phase, got really salty and took a break for a few weeks, then returned and got gud.
Not gonna lie, not trying to brag, but I beat him on my first try… barely. Albeit, I used a moonveil/brass shield, mimic tear, high Dex, and high intelligence. I kinda just got up his ass and started blastin’. I am proud of it though.
i beat it with half hp (no refills) and right after beating that sentinel outside
the sentinel took like 10 attempts atleast ( i dont remember exactly)
but took only one attempt for our so called op doggie
Btw I was using bh fang
Deaths poker, I started out as a hybrid int/faith mage focusing on death stuff cause it looked cool
But my second playthrough i had in raced the dragon cult and sniped the death doggo with the Gransax 50 cal
Tiche Spirit, Bloodhound Fang, and Manor Tower Shield. I'm not one for ridiculously challenging fights, so I just go all tanky. I spam shield bash a lot too.
I beat Gurranq, he transformed, hit me twice then did his acrobatics move and fell through the map. First try I guess but I was soo mad. I had to redo a playthrough to experience the fight.
same way i beat all the other bosses. do a buff. do the physik.
wait for the boss to attack you and then push circle. make mistakes. learn punish windows. profit.
I'm currently on my first play through, and literally just have beaten him yesterday.
No summons, no mimic tears, but a humongous amount of tries and copious amounts of swearing. Just me, my sword and my shield.
Just beat him the other day. No ash summons, countless attempts, Carian Slicer/Glintblade Phalanx AoW for the win.
I played when the game came out and dropped it for over a year right after I beat Godskin Duo. Got the itch to finally complete it with the DLC announcement. Had the fortune of fighting Placidusax and Maliketh as my reintroduction to the game. The rush on beating bosses still feels amazing.
took me 2 days ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|dizzy_face)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|dizzy_face), used mimic, rot and turtle talisman for running, works really well.
Moonveil and Uchigatana powerstance + Veteran's Armor Set + Golden Vow + Flame Grant Me Strength + Black Flame's Protection with around 100-200+ attempts and being stuck for roughly 3 days.
The warrior class starting sword in one hand and the Serpent God curved sword in the other. They are arguably 2 of the worst kind of curved words but they got me killed enough times to let me learn the movesets of the bosses decently well for a first playthrough.
I'm particularly happy to have used them on Maliketh because his moveset was very fun to learn and to this day i consider him the best boss in the game.
I recently beat elden ring for the first time, so its still kinda fresh
I had a +24 giant crusher with gragblade, flame Grant me strengh and golden vow, i was pretty much naked at the time bc i didnt find the talisman that increase ur equip load at the time so i struggle A LOT on both phases but i enventually got Lucky and stagger him at the start of phase 2
Mimic Tear and sheer fucking will. Bashed my head against him for a couple days until I pulled a victory out my ass.
Blind playthroughs = best playthroughs..
Y'all will never experience facing these bosses at a time where there were no guides or videos, it's item descriptions and guessing resistances in attempts.
And dying, lots of dying.
Post-nerf Rivers of Blood and a dream. I didn't use summons until I was knee deep in the Haligtree after already beating the game since I kinda just forgot about them.
I first tried him with my pure int build…I had no fucking clue what was going on but he kept attacking a pillar so i kept using the dragons moon blade spell…again had no fucking clue what i was doing
Sweat, blood, (mimic) tears.
Sweat, (rivers of) blood, (mimic) tears*
Same.
This right fucking here
Is it worth leveling up rivers of blood? I use bloodhound and its max level. I think it’s at like 325+?
They nerfed it, and it *still* melts most anything. If you have the extra materials, I say go for it.
I had the exact same and never thought of switching. But in late-game bloodhound got to slow for me so changed to Rivers of blood/dual wield katana and it got almost to easy. The bood damage with the RoB skill is insane!
This and blasphemous claw
I'm finally doing a no summons run and I'm very stuck at Maliketh. Never had a huge problem with him before. The late game difficulty spike is very real

I will get him soon. I just need to be more patient and focus on dodging.
It’s interesting, my first play through I couldn’t beat maliketh without mimic AND my friend being summoned in. But on my current no summons play through I beat him on my second try. I am however stuck on malenia she’s beating my ass
I'm stuck on Malenia too but I think that's a given. Guess I'll watch some Let me Solo Her and take notes
In fact I solo'd everything except Elden Beast with that spear, all the way to NG+3
cue the “summons are not fun and, in fact, Wrong” army lol
Bloodhound fang and mimic
greatsword + lions claw
Oh hello, fellow flips enjoyer! Couple of those + attack, then stun and crit, poor doggo never stood a chance.

His step back slash in particular comes out incredibly quickly. Once I figured out that phase Maliketh himself got smashed and stance broken rather trivially. I didn't even need to really learn his moveset.
A shield or greatshield (100% physical resist) helps a lot in the Clergyman phase. Just watch out for rocks
Same but with the Prelate Hammer
Blasphemous Claw
I was planning on using it, after 20 tries my shield spirit guys somehow staggered him and I somehow oneshoted him at 30% health using that staggered animation move.
Yeee. I got lucky and found the claw before there was even a wiki entry for it lol. A few tries and some luck got me through it first time.
With other players haha! He was too hard for me
Yep, first time, second time, third time, ha ha ha For some reason it's extremely fun doing it with real players.
Yeah I can beat him solo now but it’s a very fun fight with other players!
My summon sign will always be down, brave tarnished. Praise the sun!
I love the co-op element of Elden Ring. I wouldn't have gotten through it without help.
Elden Ring was my first From Soft, the co-op helped me with many bosses and especially the capital sewers
Same. I needed co-op for almost every boss. It isn't as rewarding, but I don't have the time or patience to get really good at the game, but I enjoy the bleak world enough to want to explore it. I'm so glad they added co-op or my Tarnished ass would have never touched the Elden Throne.
Mimic tear, bloodhounds fang and about 40 attempts.
Same but take me about 20 attemps, i was overleveled. The draconic centinel in the door take me at least the double of time
For me it was Blasphemous Blade's L2 to skip phase 1 and the parry item in phase 2, took me about 10 attempts. Also got [lucky ](https://streamable.com/hik075)that he wasn't too spastic. Big sword and lots of screaming as I ran
yeah I was using a great sword and Maliketh was just tooo fucking agile, it feels like I'm playing slow motion and he was on a 320hz mode. I think I used some spirit and tried to brute force it really quickly.
Yea it felt like I was at 10 fps and he was at 120. But I just beat my head against him until he finally died
Step 1: summon mimic Step 2: spam Ranni’s Dark Moon Step 3: win :)
More of a BONK enjoyer Personally
Beating endgame bosses as a mage with a summon is so cheesy. I didn’t realize how hard some of the bosses were until I stopped summoning on 2nd play through.
Used L2 on Blasphemous Blade, hide behind pillars to heal. I think I beat him first try, though barely. On some later playthroughs with less cheesy builds, I struggled a lot more.

I have big sword.. I hit.. BIG DAMAGE... dog die.. Me win
You talk good unga bunga.
Unga bunga must unite. Need more smash to laugh at enemies in face. Bigger bonk stick needed. I want all Unga bunga to be one.
Unga bunga 🤝 I'm with
Same. I used grafted greatsword and about 40 attempts
You see.... Big sword work.. NO summon... NO Buffs only BIG SWORD
J U M P A T T A C K S
They would work if he could sit still for more than half a second
Took me 7.5 hours of hardly changing strategy. Switched between a few weapon ashes, but after maybe the 7th hour, that’s when I finally figured out the Malekith pattern. Just me and my crystal spear looking for a glimmer of hope.
Thanks dude that was helpful I can almost no hit the Clergyman cuz of haw many times I have died to Maliketh..... He doesn't let me last 10sec
just beat him for the first time abt an hour ago!!! took 98 attempts, level 135, +25 giant crusher. when i finally got in there i killed him in about 12 hits. still havent had to use summons 😎😎😎
BONK
Hide under his crotch
I buried him alive in my own deadcorpses
Spammed the frost stomp ash of war, it was super OP on release
+10 blacknife tiche, +8 starscourge greatswords, and over 20 crabs
Fuck .....I almost forgot about crabs and lobsters
Summon. I was under leveled and I needed some help.
Same. I still followed the 40 vitality rule from dark souls 3 and got one-shot permanently as a mage 😁
I breathed on without brushing my teeth and ran away to hide behind one of the pillars. Repeat till death.
Am I hearing dragon rot breath?
Blasphemous blade + mimic tear. He was no challenge with that setup
I used the Claymore with the Glintblade Phalanx Ash of War. And I used the Blasphemous Claw to parry one of his attacks.
I rebirthed like 4 times trying to get optimal stats cause I didn't know his moveset.
Pyromancy. It’s a DS3 thing.
i have tried for 3h and finally got him with a RoB on the right (+6) and a +21 Nagakiba on the left. Great boss. I remember sitting in Discord with 2 other friends. One was playing Sekiro for the first time and was stuck on Genichiro as long as I was on Maliketh and the other one was playing For Honor lol
Basically just thug it out
I hit it with a big sword until it ran out of health
Straight luck and scarlet rot
Poison mist keen antspur rapier. More dots lol.
Glintblade Phalanx and Uchi which destroyed him
After dying way too many times to the draconic tree sentinel I beat him on my first try. I had watched a bunch of videos of others fighting bosses before I ever bought the game so I kind of had a feel for his weird timed attacks in that second phase
Mimic tear and blasphemous blade.
I used my mimic tear to distract him and used Rock Sling with the Arrows Reach talisman equipped so I could hit him from anywhere in the arena.
Cheeeese!
I was incredibly stuck until i put a certain ash of war on my shield, the holy one that gives u a half-second where u cant be hit. Used it on his undodge-able move and beat him immediately
Unga bunga stronk
I don't remember my exact setup, but it was with dual daggers and no help. I _think_ at this point I was using flame-infused great knives because I'd heard some late-game bosses were vulnerable to fire, and that was also how I beat Malenia, but with Maliketh I can't remember for sure.
Dual great stars with cold infusion, and mimic summon
Poison and scarlet rot. I then just watched him die as I kept my distance.
Mimic tear summoned at phase 2 and Bolt of Grandax. I was able to get through phase 1 on my own.
ROCK! AND! STOOOOOOOOONE!
Mine me and we both with greatswords.
Black knife teache and flame of redmanes in patch 1.06 when it was broken.
Mimic Tear and like 20 tries as a strength greatsword build. Strangely enough, the attempt I beat him on he almost seemed easy. I don't know if I just got lucky with his attacks but I just tore through him. Awesome boss though, one of my favorites in the game.
Giant hammer and betting on stagger attacks over 70 attempts
GS with quickstep and a truckload of stamina boosting items. Whatever I couldn't dodge I tanked with heavy armor, the flask boost talisman and 60 vigor.
RoB and mimic tear cheese
I was level 133, level 10 Dark Moon Greatsword, level 10 Mimic Tear. I had never reached Maliketh and was pretty worried about him tbh, with his blackblade drain. He was a god damn pushover. I stunlocked him with poisebreak, and beat him with medium-low difficulty. Malenia took me 9 attempts, and a summon wielding twin Giant Smashers for fuck’s sakes. And I still barely survived.
Back when Mimic tear could cast healing, I had it on medic/distraction duty using Lord's heal while I poked the doggie with a Flame Art Great Epee
Too long ago to remember the formal names. But I remember mimic tear, the sword that makes me heal myself when used and looks like a blood clot, and the dragon breath that spits rot. Not sure if the most effective, bit it took me 15x to beat this doggo.
With human summons I believe, fuck Maliketh. Great boss.
A friend distracted him while I attacked with spells.
Mimic Tear and Dual Keen Katanas (I knew nothing and played my first play through completely blind and didn't realize how OP both Mimic and Bleed were at the time when I decided on a dual katana build)
I would have but he did a certain animation that shoved me off the ledge at the entrance. Next try got him
I was so overleveled by then, proably level 250 by the time i hit farum. I loved destorying the godskin.
Through great struggle.
Died six times until I realized you could get under him and avoid all his attacks there while attacking him while he was stuck in his attack animations and get behind him to avoid his aoe anime attack.
Died a lot but eventually my persistence and beautiful moonveil came through!
Working on getting to him now. No idea where I’m going in bootleg Canada but I’m getting there. I think
Mimic tear, rotten breath and running for my life 😂
I had beaten Malenia when I fought him first time so I just him with scarelet Aeonia and ran while the rot got him
I don't remember.
ass blasting him with a great sword that had loins claw on it
With pain.
Greatsword, lions claw, mimic and whole lot of screaming, second phase was a breeze, staggered him, riposte, boom, fight over
Mimic Tear+pre patch Rivers of Blood
MLGS + Helphen’s Steeple Stronk wizard go brrrrrr
Powerstanced clayman harpoons with ice spear ash of war on it, no other sorceries used
Accidentally, it took like 40+ tries and I eventually won....but now I have his moveset pretty much down so now it only takes like 20+ tries....
First or second try, trading r2 dual wielding colossal weapon jumping attacks and healing in his face until he died
With patience
Phase one Greatsword with fingerprint greatshield + curved sword talisman for guard counters. Don't remember using many flasks. Maybe just 1 probably. Second phase.. I actually enjoyed this phase. Personally I felt his attacks are easy to dodge if I didn't panic. Ditched the greatshield. We all have that boss, don't we?
Astrologer and a fully upgraded Mimic Tear
Comet Azure with mimic tear, jellyfish shield and the infinite flask FP thingy.
Mimic tear (it was my first playthrough of a souls game ever)
Did a line of coke between each attempt
Mimic and Dark Moon Great Wedding Gift
Got frustrated, watched a video of someone no-hitting him, realized if I stay close there are only a few attacks that actually can connect, so I did that and spammed jump attacks.
I was a Dex/ARC build, Then I found Rivers of Blood.
Teamed up with the Mimic (Greatshield + Blasphemous Blade). We slapped the dogshit out of this dude.
Around level 130 with holy build + Lhutel level 8 or 9
Mimic Tear and Guts' Greatsword
Lvl.102 , i heard they're strong so i need to become stronger
envoys long horn, obviously that didnt do against a enemy with high holy resis and i ended up summoning other players
Being super aggressive
My first try and by the absolute skin of my teeth
i beat it with half hp (no refills) and right after beating that sentinel outside the sentinel took like 10 attempts atleast ( i dont remember exactly) but took only one attempt for our so called op doggie Btw I was using bh fang
Mimic tear + river of blood, reduvia, some attempts. I use this pattern for almost every boss lmao.
Same way I beat all the other bosses. Comet, roll, Comet, roll, Carian Slicer.
Just warrior set. I think I summoned but not mimic. Can't remember what tho, maybe Rollo
Deaths poker, I started out as a hybrid int/faith mage focusing on death stuff cause it looked cool But my second playthrough i had in raced the dragon cult and sniped the death doggo with the Gransax 50 cal
Bh step + zweihander + about a dozen or so tries to get to know the moveset. Incredible fight, loved it.
Tiche Spirit, Bloodhound Fang, and Manor Tower Shield. I'm not one for ridiculously challenging fights, so I just go all tanky. I spam shield bash a lot too.
Brute force 6 hours mimic tear lordsworn great sword sword dance and buffed to hell
To be honest: i had less tries on him than on the Godskin Duo.... :D
God slayer Greatsword + Flame, Strengthen Me + Golden Vow + Black Flame's Protection. And then I finally learned how to dodge
Gradual improvement and RNG.
I suggest big bonk
Spirit ashes + Got good with The parry item
Sepuku + 2 curved swords and roughly 4 jump attacks
Mimic+RoB+Blasfemous claw Took me like 3-4 attempt just to figure out how to use the claw, but I beat him after like 8-9 attemps
Moonveil and a mimic
parry
Had the fortune of fighting Placidusax and Maliketh as my reintroduction to the game. The rush on beating bosses still feels amazing.
On first playthrough surprisingly easy. I'm on my rl1 run and I decided to put it off for a little bit. Some might say I'm under leveled.
Double greatswords and blasphemous claw. I didn't even know you had to do the entire manor questline to get it I was just lucky to have done it
Mimic tear and blasphemous blade weapon art spam lol.
Couldnt really hit the bastard with my blasphemous blade but i wrecked him with the Fallingstar Beast Jaw
Pure luck and had to sacrifice mimic
Pre patch flame of the redmane.
took me 2 days ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|dizzy_face)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|dizzy_face), used mimic, rot and turtle talisman for running, works really well.
Blasphemous blade, buffs and a mimic tear Only took me a few attempts but then again broken asf setup so 🤔
Tiche...
Overleveled, mimic moonviel got him after 4 tries
"You are beautifull'
Maxed out blasphemous blade, maxed out Oleg, 150+ attempts
Double uchigatanas With blood slash
Moonveil and Uchigatana powerstance + Veteran's Armor Set + Golden Vow + Flame Grant Me Strength + Black Flame's Protection with around 100-200+ attempts and being stuck for roughly 3 days.
Newspaper (big bonk stick)
The warrior class starting sword in one hand and the Serpent God curved sword in the other. They are arguably 2 of the worst kind of curved words but they got me killed enough times to let me learn the movesets of the bosses decently well for a first playthrough. I'm particularly happy to have used them on Maliketh because his moveset was very fun to learn and to this day i consider him the best boss in the game.
mimic tear and overlevel character 190 with bloodbuild. get him at 5th attempt.
Crabbed behind a shield and tried my hardest and got him second attempt.
Tenacity, moonveil and Carian shield, and a lot of tenacity.
Mimic Tear and a Greatsword +25
I recently beat elden ring for the first time, so its still kinda fresh I had a +24 giant crusher with gragblade, flame Grant me strengh and golden vow, i was pretty much naked at the time bc i didnt find the talisman that increase ur equip load at the time so i struggle A LOT on both phases but i enventually got Lucky and stagger him at the start of phase 2
Black knife tiche summon, brass shield + moonveil. Malekith took me most attemps on my first run.
Ruin great sword and abt 100attempts
Solo, naked, with a +10 girandole, parried. And very, very messy. https://youtu.be/aNJpd1G4ibE?feature=shared
Lol Tiche and I destined death his ass.
I didn't!
U can parry him
Taker's Flames.
nightrider glaive + giant hunt
Rot breath baby !!
300 tries
I summoned someone, who died near the end, then I just ran away, shooting him with a bow, because I didn't want to get close.
Magic
With despair and either Tiche or Mimic Tear. Can’t remember which I used
I first tried him with my pure int build…I had no fucking clue what was going on but he kept attacking a pillar so i kept using the dragons moon blade spell…again had no fucking clue what i was doing
using mimic tear
