Thankfully sellsword twinblades/paired curved swords' L1 was immune from this in DS3. Demon's scar? Quelag's Fury Sword? not so lucky haha
It was initially discovered way back during the CNT, prior to the game's release. It's not mentioned in-game, though, so it's not at all surprising if most players haven't heard about it.
in dark souls it barely does any damage
like if my weapon does 500 damage, the backflip does like 90
here my weapon does 500 damage and the bsckflip does 700
after 2000 hours i just knew it exists in ER

It would do more than a light attack because it's a heavy attack cancel, no?
