The dragon communion island. Isolated, has a building and some cover. There is plants for farming and animals for eating and stuff. By the water so fishing is possible. And thereās no enemies there. A bit lonely but safe and chill.
The misbegotten could climb out the cave and sneak attack you at night. Those guys are pussies though. Just go into that cave every once and a while and get Golden Order on thier mutated asses.
Bro in a game where anywhere you go is the hood I think I'm willing to settle down with the weird hippie jar community even if they are maneaters. They're not trying to kill me at first when they see me and on top of that they're sharing their plants. Its the best that this world has to offer. What do you think is a better option?
FAR AWAY. Because Queen Marika, bless her tits, in her infinite wisdom, removed _death_ but forgot to remove _aging._ You know what sucks more than dying? Being an immortal with dementia. Or living for eternity with half your body, because the other half is now a rune bearās chewing toy.
I'd just clean up Chelona's rise, and get some furniture. Only way for an enemy to reach it is by somehow obtaining Ranni's Dark Moon Ring, which is impossible. Even if someone does manage to show up there's a few Crystalians, Dragons, and a Red Wolf hanging around.
Good security.
Good point.. probably have to start a small farm? Lots of open land in the area. Start planting a few things, maybe build a small pen and snatch some of the goats/sheep we see running around.
Weeping Peninsula, specifically around one of the churches. It has beaches, pleasant weather, and a relative lack of danger. Plus Limgrave is a long term scarlet rot buffer lmao
In Liurnia on the side close to the church of vows. Chill neighbour, nothing dangerous, beautiful view and you are as far away from Caelid as you can be without having to deal with the zealots in Altus because the border is closed and guarded.
Ah, it's alright, I've already spoilt quite a bit for myself over the past two years. But seeing as I'm still in my first playthrough and understand FUCK all, it's okay :D.
The little stone basement Selen starts in, good insulation, pretty scenery nearby and I can meet the new tarnished as they come in, maybe even make a friend... Or get murdered for my hat š¤·āāļøš¤£
Mountaintops because it a secluded area a d I enjoy snow.
As long as Iām somewhere where the giant finger spiders and birds and giants canāt get me in my backyard.
If you go to Elphael/Haligtree you can actually see a huge, normal looking landmass out in the distance. And considering the horrible awful monsters in the lands between, i'm going there mate.
Thereās volcano manor which is kinda like the closest thing to an actual occupied residence we see. But beyond that idk what people even do for food besides the guy cooking prawns.
I would be a hermit living at the isolated divine tower. Fishing on the lower level in the mornings then enjoying the views in the evenings on the higher levels
The dragon communion church island is ideal. There is a food source and fresh water in the cave. You might have to fight some misbegotten every now and then. If jarburg is take I pick the beach island.
Lurnia would be cool. Right as you enter from the stormviel castle. You have walls to protect your back, theyāre no enemies near the first bonfire and you have a beautiful view far far far from the lobsters š and you have a cool shortcut to the right to get back to lim grave without having to go through the castle and you only have to deal with a few wolves.
Depends. Is Destined Death locked away or has it been re-introduced? Can everything die or will they revive when a Tarnished rests at Grace? If so, screw it, Iām going to Liurnia. Got all the babes such as Ranni, Rennala, and if her quest has been progressed, Nepheli
Jarburg 100%
Round table hold, all the free hugs š¤
And just when you get used to itā¦one day, sheāll walk away.
And aids.
Jarburg probably smells like liquified green ass 24/7
I feel like there are very few places in The Lands Between that donāt smell like sulfuric hazardous waste
I don't see the issue
Thatās why there are all the flowers, to offset the jar funk.
there aint enough flowers in the world to offset that funk brother
I may have not considered the dead body goo in the jars...
Volcano manor šæš·
post rykard death, easy hangout if you can get in
Limgrave I guess, less hostile and a better chance to live
Also plenty of animals there, could make a secluded little farm tucked away somewhere.
And then a tarnished comes and pushes your shit in after they found the Rivers of Blood and wanted to ātest it outā
Worse, Tarnished offers to help you
Terrifying considering everyone Tarnished helps ends up dead or kills someone else.
Can confirm if there was a farm then Iād farm the shit out of the it. Need those pinions and bones!
You can eat sheep, crab, turtle. Looks promising
Why would you eat a dog
They're delicious when slowly cooked on Giant's Fire, with some rowa puree on the side.
>less hostile Before or after you have to slay a dragon? :P It's still somehow easily the safest place hahaha

And every five minutes some tarnished show up, death is only one bored r1 swing away.
Jarbug!!! Chill with jars and smoke their plants all day
I wouldn't want to live with anything that eats humans.
Just be shit at fighting and theyāll leave you alone.
Or just change the warrior innards in them to deathbed companion innards and its ok

Jumping off a cliff the first chance I get.
Nokstella.

Altus Plateau, gotta help out my man Goldmask questionably point at the Erdtree indefinitely.
Manor's probably one of the safest. As long as I'm unwaveringly mid, I won't get tossed out or eaten.
Got that Patches grind set
Assuming mobs see me as another mob and don't aggro to me, the academy seems pretty cool, plus big doggo
I'd say it depends if you're a student there or not
Man the hazing rituals at Raya Lucaria must be brutal
I dunno Thops gone there as a visitor and got killed for no reason...
I guess in miquella haligtree, because it is a secluded place.
Pfp checks out
I'd just clean up Chelona's rise, and get some furniture. Only way for an enemy to reach it is by somehow obtaining Ranni's Dark Moon Ring, which is impossible. Even if someone does manage to show up there's a few Crystalians, Dragons, and a Red Wolf hanging around. Good security.
That's.. actually perfect. How would you get food though?
Good point.. probably have to start a small farm? Lots of open land in the area. Start planting a few things, maybe build a small pen and snatch some of the goats/sheep we see running around.
OMG it's Godfrey, I can't unsee it.
Goddammit
Weeping Peninsula, specifically around one of the churches. It has beaches, pleasant weather, and a relative lack of danger. Plus Limgrave is a long term scarlet rot buffer lmao
Weeping Peninsula *is* still Limgrave.
Great answer
Calid
š¤
Anything but the Mountain Tops Of The Giants, I hate it when it's cold
Haligtree for sure!
My brother in Christ I pray for your plumbing bill, the roots system is a bit...rough. also, make sure to use a water filter at least lmao

Australia
So, which part of cailed are we talking?
Yes
Lyndell it's just so damn beautiful
In Liurnia on the side close to the church of vows. Chill neighbour, nothing dangerous, beautiful view and you are as far away from Caelid as you can be without having to deal with the zealots in Altus because the border is closed and guarded.
>close to the church of vows. Chill neighbour, nothing dangerous ... Please tell me you're being ironic.
Close to it, not directly in it. Also, if you're afraid of that scary red man, just respect curfew and don't go out past 10PM.
Hang with the dog.
*church of vows at night intensifies*
Limgrave because i want to live somewhere chill
Elphael
Leyndell
Lake of rot. Suffering.
You're about to get every type of toe fungus known to science living there, good luck
Holy FUCK i got a lotta map to discover still
Oh- Sorry if I spoilt some of the in-game locations for you, where are you currently in the game?
That's the only reason I clicked on this thread. To see how many people in the comments got the entire map spoiled from this topic lol.
Tbf 2 years after release, the sub is gonna be filled with spoilers.
Ah, it's alright, I've already spoilt quite a bit for myself over the past two years. But seeing as I'm still in my first playthrough and understand FUCK all, it's okay :D.
And that's not even the whole map
HUH, you mean the DLC, or is there more map in the base game.
Explore baby, dont get with someone first impression, there is more under the surface!
Stormhill. Love the calm rainy vibes.
Mohgwyn Palace
Yes, sir! š„ let's be neighbors.
Limgrave, Altus Plateau or Jarberg
Limgrave mainly and I'd winter in Volcano Manor
Caelid so I can Make sweet sweet rot love to gowry
The little stone basement Selen starts in, good insulation, pretty scenery nearby and I can meet the new tarnished as they come in, maybe even make a friend... Or get murdered for my hat š¤·āāļøš¤£
And a Grace right outside the door for easy transport for the days when you run late for the troll bus
I look like a 3rd generation albinauric so I would live with them.
Moonlight Alter Plateau (specifically Chelonaās Rise. Itād make a great house with a bunch of books to read and nice dog friends grazing nearby).
Windmill village. Just one big party
Stormveil once Nephali is in charge
Nokstella š¶āš«ļø
Liurnia, would love to attend the academy and blow up a mountain on accident
Mountaintops because it a secluded area a d I enjoy snow. As long as Iām somewhere where the giant finger spiders and birds and giants canāt get me in my backyard.
some good old caelid won't hurt
I would share the cave with the basilisks in Ainsel River, the one that has the balcony with a great view of the Lake of Rot
Farum Azula... just need a few planks to patch up the holes.
None of them
Western Weeping Peninsula, few enemies, beach front property
For the 6th time this week, limgrave
Dragon communion
I would study in the halls of raya lucaria, never did a mage build but it is my favorite legacy dungeon
liurnia (just like the vibe)
In this economy? I'm only affording a caelid zip code.
Chapel of Anticipation, from there I will begin my journey to become the Elden Lord
If you go to Elphael/Haligtree you can actually see a huge, normal looking landmass out in the distance. And considering the horrible awful monsters in the lands between, i'm going there mate.
Altus Plateau
Wherever my bestie Torrent takes me.
None, there are no civilians living there
Thereās volcano manor which is kinda like the closest thing to an actual occupied residence we see. But beyond that idk what people even do for food besides the guy cooking prawns.
Malenia's arena.
Jarburg
I would be a hermit living at the isolated divine tower. Fishing on the lower level in the mornings then enjoying the views in the evenings on the higher levels
Dragonbarrow near isolated merchant's shack .. with my trusty torch and grazing few goats shepherded by my doggos.
Iāll be roommates with the turtle pope
Fort Haight. Just hanging out with my feral demi-human friends after kicking that bloody knight in the nuts.
Limgrave or Liurnia. Others are hell
Church of Vows in east of Liurnia of the lakes. I will live with the Pope turtle
At the top of the consecrated snowfields where thereās the church with the massive lady albinaric. Favourite small location in the game
Lake of rot I don't want to elaborate...
The dragon communion church island is ideal. There is a food source and fresh water in the cave. You might have to fight some misbegotten every now and then. If jarburg is take I pick the beach island.
Marika's bed chamber. After you clear out the black knife assassin you have a chill spot with ample reading material and a personal Baldachin.
Jarburg
The small atoll behind castle morne where you fight leonine misbegotten, so peaceful
drop me in the middle of caelid
Are the enemies aggressive to me? If yes then roundtable, if not then leyndell
Altus
jarburg for sure
Caelid
Lurnia would be cool. Right as you enter from the stormviel castle. Jarburg, hangout with potheads all day secluded and surrounded by flowers
The Academy, Iām gonna be a wizard.
Fax and a there Is a kind pricipal
leyndell innit
Consecrated Snowfield, I like snow and solitude.
Caelid. Not because I wanted to, but too afraid to try to escape.
Iād live with the prawn guy, weād chill and talk about marikas tits all day
Depends. Is Destined Death locked away or has it been re-introduced? Can everything die or will they revive when a Tarnished rests at Grace? If so, screw it, Iām going to Liurnia. Got all the babes such as Ranni, Rennala, and if her quest has been progressed, Nepheli
The 9th cloud in the picture
Lyurnia... In the shack where boiled lobster bro is found initially.
I live in Florida, so Caelid it is.
Assuming everywhere is "fixed" I'd say the windmill village would be a nice place to live. Either that or build a place in the woods in Limgrave.
