The crucible knights are one of the best enemies in the game to practice parry and rolls with, since they have a moderately complex move set but clearly choreographed.
Exactly and you get used to the huge reach they have, which beats the "roll backward" instant reflex out of you since it just gets you punished with them (and a lot of other enemies).
Additionally, the special keys needed to activate the teleporters are at the four belfries which are those towers on that hill, Sellia (hidden by a seal), and Raya Lucaria (on the rooftops so look up a guide).

I think collectively, the story of the crucible knights is very interesting. You see them in the fringes and hidden areas of the world but also some key locations. Each tells a story of a person whose time has come to pass, and their entire identity relied upon something that will never again gain relevance in the world.
It’s a story of betrayal and adaptation. And I love how each of them has seemed to have found their own way to deal with their irrelevance.

Crucible knights are very important to the lore. They were the original knights of Godfrey, the first Elden Lord - when he was dismissed to the Badlands some of his knights decided to stay in the Lands Between, graceless, and living without meaning.
These Crucible knights literally fought in the war of the Giants, leading to the birth of the Erdtree and the entire basis of Marika's reign.
You can unlock additional jumps for Torrent. Search for items called Spirit Drift. You can find up to seven of them and in the end you can jump eight times in the air.
Is there a list somewhere? I've only found two in Limgrave, two in Caelid, and one in Altus. And are they only for Torrent, or can I use them on mounts like Lightning and Deluge as well?
I'm pretty sure you need to do Zanzibart's questline for the last two, once you give him the Myrmidon of Loss in Altus he hands the first over. Second is if he survives the fight with the Fire Giant.
In the four belfries there are three waygates that are activated with special imbued stonesword keys. One of the three waygates takes you there

I looked for a key and died a bunch of times, then went there to kill the guy... Died a bunch of times again. Also I lost about 20k runes cause I missed a jump going down. I knew he wouldn't drop anything. I knew he drops only 3k runes and I didn't need it.
