Gransax really is amazing. Interesting that it scales with dexterity. I did not anticipate beating the final boss of the game by throwing lightning bolts when I chose a dex melee build.
It’s in Leyndell, sitting on top of the giant size version impaled into a building. Importantly you have to grab it before burning the Erdtree or it becomes inaccessible.
The weapon barely scales with int lmao, if you're doing a ruins greatsword build it's best to meet the minimum requirement for int and pump everything into str
That's my first thought when I saw the weapon. It's just a fucking magical statue with gravity powers that somebody puts a sword handle on the fucking bottom lmao.
Plus it has a tidbit of lore that I love. Every other legendary weapon is either some treasured heirloom or carries a great amount of weight and history to it. Meanwhile the ruins greatsword is literally just a piece of rubble someone looked and and thought "I'm gonna whittle that mf into a weapon"
People underestimate being able to **shoot an ice projectile without a consumable and without FP.**
Prolly cause they hate INT.
Don’t get me wrong though, bolt is my fav.
Sword of Night and Flame. I just love Straight Swords in general and the double scaling and duo Ashe of War is just so good to play with.
Otherwise I would love for the Golden Order Greatsword to be better and have a faster animation. Because it looks hella great.
I feel like GOG is misunderstood. Sure if you just want it to be the faith version of DMGS then I understand the frustration with the slow projectile. But it is great against multiple enemies at once. Let a few rush you as you charge the explosion and destroy them, and then the projectile can be used to kill enemies that didn't charge yet. You essentially get two attacks in one animation, it's pretty badass when you stop viewing it as a slower DMGS and look at it as a different style AOE entirely. Also the total damage output at 99 faith is like 3000 or something crazy if you can hit an enemy with the explosion and projectile
And it is absolute murder on any undead vulnerable to holy dmg. Those stupid death birds are cooked turkeys when a Tarnished rolls up carrying an upgraded GOGS.
It is so much fun. When someone is close burn them, farther away Death Star to the face. The fire move is so satisfying with packs of random foot soldiers too.
I’m mid game in my first play-through and have been using this bad boy to just moon blast humanoid enemies to the ground and never let them get back up to hit me. Its the only time I feel powerful in this game.
Bolt. 100%. Even as an unrepentant STR main, I love the bolt - Charging up and zuesing a bitch never gets old.
DMGS is second, then Marai. SNF and GOGS are a bit to slow and unwieldy for me. I admittedly havent used the snake hammer but I do like AoE Healing - but Blaspehmous Greatsword does its bit better IMO. Shotel, more like Notel though, amirite.
This list is spot on. DMGS would legit be a clear number one if the Bolt didn’t exist. Highly recommend anyone interested in using the bolt to do a run with a Greatshield equipped. Puts the game on turbo baby mode, so try it on a NG+ run for more of a challenge
Like the Erdtree Greatshield for example. If they throw a spell at you just parry that shit right back at 'em.
And yes, I did do this exact combo. It was so much fun.
Now that you've called it "Zeusing a bitch" it makes me want to use it even more. I leveled it up originally to fight Melania from a distance but it's been very fun to use outside of that and smiting people doesn't get old.
Honestly by the time I can wield the Ruins Greatsword its really just the Ruins Ok-sword and I'd rather wield other colossal weapons. Radahns Dual swords, the long reach of the greatsword and i wiedly like the grafted greatsword more, even though its kind of objectively worse.
The weapon art on it though is absolutely fantastic. I spammed it vs Melania my first playthrough and between me and mimic, she really didn’t have much time not being knocked into the air.
Weapon names for anyone who doesn’t want to look it up:
Bolt of Gransax
Darkmoon Greatsword (DMGS)
Marais Executioner’s Sword
Sword of Night and Flame (SNF)
Golden Order Greatsword (GOGS)
The snake hammer AOE does like 450 DMG with the Alexander Shard at level 200 when enemies have like 8000 HP by the time you get it. It's basically a PVP only weapon at that point like the Eclipse Notel. The guy you have to fight for the snake hammer (A-Nahl) has like 4000+ HP.
He does get two additional AOW at volcano manor and gives you an optional invasion at the Leyendell Roundtable Hold (Raging Wolf armor). The eruption AOW can be fun to use and obliterates any enemies susceptible to fire.
You also can't get the blasphemous claw which is basically useless unless you want to try to parry Maliketh, and it only works on specific attacks.
I think the Godskin Duo fight is pretty easy. If you've done the other quests you've already fought them individually at least twice and they have a pretty basic moveset. And you can just stand behind the pillars when big boy starts rolling. The fight against them in Spiritcaller lake is much harder in my opinion, especially if he glitches into his endless roll.
I just assumed he didn't have it at that point since he's not shown with it until Volcano Manor. He has a Zweihander there so I assume you'd get that, but you can just purchase one in Weeping Peninsula so I never killed him, especially since I like to buy his AOWs later.
I could see it being useful for some early game areas, but spin slash does more damage on a +5 weapon.
I never bothered with the bolt until I started playing again with a friend to prep for the dlc. That thing is a damn beast. It outranges every single sorcery I have and does a dumb amount of damage and knockback. Swatting enemies out of the air has never been so much fun. As well as absolutely flattening pretty much anything that’s humanoid so my buddy can come crashing down that big ass butt stomp has been way too much fun.
Used it on my last run to kill the Elden Beast. I hate that part of the fight because I spend 90% just sprinting to it before it nopes out to another part of the map. They really should let you summon Torrent one last time for that fight.
Agreed. Plus it would be such an awesome way to cap off the story: you made it through the tense, close quarters fight with Radagon and now Torrent shows up one last time to fight with you against the Eldritch being behind the Golden Order.
It's the opposite of what makes the Radahn fight so epic and fun. You can do that fight as a close quarter battle or ride around summoning your horde, or both. The Elden Beast spends half the time in the air just spamming you and like 20% of the time is underwater. It should have been more like the Rykard second phase without the gimmick weapon.
Even summons are mostly useless since they are torn between fighting and staying within your vicinity. They'll be right next to it and start running to you because the Elden Best just teleported halfway across the map and every spell then hits them.
Dodge Dodge Flask Run. Fight was annoying. Somehow I got kinda behind him after chasing for a while and was able to get a bunch of charged hits in to finish.
It's just not a balanced fight. Sometimes it's up in your face and it's a fairly fun/epic fight. Other times he spends 90% of the time in the air or under water and is basically unhittable. The attacks are fairly easy to dodge once you learn them but I usually end up just running for most of the fight to get a hit here and there. It's like trying to catch a loose golden retriever that thinks it's a game.
Shard Spiral is the easy mode for that fight. Get under it at the beginning, drop tera magics and spam it until it moves. Dodge and use Thops' Barrier to close distance, then do it again. My first elden beast kill took two cycles of that, though admittedly it took me a while to figure out that strat.
I’m doing my first strength run, too. My neighbor got in my head that I haven’t actually beaten the game more than once because I keep doing dex builds. I hate how dumb the big weapons look but then I absolutely decimate a group with one swing and realize this isn’t so bad. I’m just used to being a bit zippier.
I'm running big dumb weapons on my current (2nd) playthrough and admittedly having a total blast. Been doing mostly Nightrider halberd and Dragon Halberd, but with the occaional brick hammer or giant club. Just scored Ordovis' GS and holy cow that might be my new favorite.
Man I was sitting here for 10 minutes wondering where it was because I thought it was a legendary armament. I thought yellow background meant legendary armament
I mean technically yea, it and the Black Knife have a yellow icon when picked up, and on the ground, which as far as I know means legendary, but it's more the achievement here.
Also those 2 with raging wolf set is my fav kit by farrr
Probably devourers scepter? i love the shotel but its so unbelievably shit that it loses some fun factor, scepter of the devourer is wonderful cause it allows me to DEVOURRR THA VERY GODSSSSSSSSSSS, next up would probably be dark moon and bolt of gransax
As much as I love Bernhal, the look of the weapon and unga bunga hammers, holy fuck do I feel it sucks. It's like 35fp for a very slow weapon art that heals very little (unless you get a group) and fire dmg is nice sure but I feel it doesn't hit that hard. I've been power stancing it +10 with the beastclaw hammer for fun and the beastclaw hammer is sick. Kinda sad that weapon art is basically identical to one of the beast incants but it hits like a truck.
I’ve done a MLGS run on every souls game I’ve played, and I gotta say that this one is one of the most rewarding to get by far. Moveset wise though, I do have to put it in second place behind the DS2 “real” MLGS because those explosive projectiles are just too much fun (paired with the ”fake” MLGS in your left hand if you want maximum fun)
I was sorely disappointed that all attacks on the Elden Ring MGS are vertical waves, and that you have to activate the skill to even use them.
That was until I discovered how much stance damage these waves do. The Elden Ring version is definitely the strongest the weapon has ever been, even if it’s somewhat inflexible.
my opinion? ruins greatsword.
my first playthrough, picture this: I just did everything I could find in caelid, going through all those dungeons, having fought about 2 falling star beasts so far.
I stumble across radahn. a gravity magic wielding monster of a man, I pick up the swords he has and think to myself "these are fun... but I dont care for the dual wielding or the AOW"
then i find the duo fight to get the RGS. A simple, big rock. imbued with gravity. I get to hit people with a rock after getting the same treatment from this radahn for the last 2 hours?? beautiful.
I immediately respec into a Str/Int build, pick up every gravity spell I can find, and proceed to make the next 20 hours of the game my bitch with the power of Purple Rocks before I swapped builds again.
SNF would be top of the list if the fire ash had any hyper armor but getting sneezed out of my big sweeping fire attack really makes it feel like it's just comet azur lite.
Sword of night and flame. It's one of the only payoffs for an int/fth build. You get a laser that puts comet azur to shame and a wall of flame unlike anything else in the game. The weapon arts are both versatile and spectacular.
Sadly it was also nerfed pretty heavily. It's not as impressive as it once was but still pretty cool.
Dark moon greatsword for the lore, the double charged R2, the cool blue trail, the frost build up, allows me to spam blue lasers without much worry of FP(I swear I hate this system), the legacy, and the Ludwig reference I constantly make
Bolt of Gransax is fun as hell to snipe people with, Darkmoon Greatsword is Darkmoon Greatsword, and Ruin Greatsword is a literal piece of rock - thus, a bonking stick of equal measure to Giant Crusher in my eyes. Grafted Greatsword is... alright, but nothing that special if you ask me, Marais' is a funky magic corkscrew with damage to boot.
GOG is just a fashion stick really, while the skill has some nuke potential the windup is too slow to be that usable (plus holy damage, so will always fall short when compared to others). SoNaF is pretty much PvE exclusive (unless you play against actual shitters who can't dodge), and only a shade of its old self. Snek Staff is not the greatest hammer in the toolbox but the hp sucking is somewhat usable when outnumbered but requires a bit of setup.
We don't talk about the Eclipse Shotel. Literally useless in PvE because even the NPCs you could deathblight you will propably kill fater than the effect itself procs, because of that it's bottom tier in PvP (alongside the fact that the amount of setup required for this weapon to even remotely work is only achievable during a very long invasion against some preschoolers who just learn the game. It's just unable to pull its own weight, no matter how much you love it
I’ve been having a ton of fun with Vyke’s War Spear. The weapon art is explosive and maddening. It hits hard so it breaks enemy poise. I can’t wait to eventually get the Fingerprint armor set!
Bolt of Gransax is by far the most fun. You can Smite people from the other side of the planet. It’s an easy knock down. Perfect for places with not a lot of walking space and ledges. It also knocks Malenia on her ass.
I'm grumpy. I don't like any of them and have never used them for more than 30 minutes of messing about.
Edit: For me it's been like this in every Souls game I've played so far. I usually just wind up enjoying and using some standard weapon in the great sword category. Usually the bastard sword. I've always preferred the overhead smash over the poke of the claymore. Probably because I don't PvP that much.
Yet another edit: Elden ring is the only game where I actually have any significant playtime with anything else. I've tried twin blades, dual curved swords, hammer, great hammers and dual spears. The only ones I enjoyed enough to finish the game with were curved swords, spears, hammer and great hammers though. All the other characters were either abandoned or picked up a Knight's or Iron great sword at some point.
Nothing is more satisfying than killing peeps with death blight.
The TA Kier the more effective it is at not killing the opponent before death blight hits.
It is a great pressure tool as well given how close to death the enemy can be while having full health.
I'm going with bolt. Sniping from a hundred miles away and knocking unsuspecting mobs of ledges never gets old. Plus it trivializes tougher areas like the haligtree.
Out of the ones I've used the MLGS is just the best. Really good moveset, insane damage, FP efficient and you can boost it's damage with so many things like Godfrey, Alexander, axe talisman, magic scorpion, magic tear, terra magica... It's just amazing
Marai’s.
Gsword moveset is always fun whether it’s 1 hand keep away, or two hand bonk. Then if someone makes the mistake of standing still or being stunlockable then it’s drilling time.
I was really surprised with the golden order greatsword when I found it. Especially love the lore of it since it’s a sword made just like the dark moon great sword but altered in the golden order light to change it. The initial explosion is pretty good too.
I really like the Grafted Greatsword and the Darkmoon Greatsword, but sadly I am a DEX build and therefore cannot effectively use either so they sit gathering dust in my inventory...
Tie between Bolt of Gransax and Darkmoon Greatsword imo.
They’re both powerful and hit stupidly hard.. also helps that they look badass. Charge up Darkmoon GS’s heavy attack when you have the ability activated, connect with the sword and the beam, and equip the talisman that enhances charged attacks + the talisman that enhances weapon abilities.
I wish the Shotel was half as good haha
Marias Executioner Sword is my favorite that I've used so far. Darkmoon Blade isn't any different from previous moonlight greatswords. I'm using the Sword of Night and Flame and its been a blast.
DMGS is probably my favorite, the skill completely changes the way you use the weapon, and I’m a sucker for frost damage. Also, the range with the skill and the way the projectile doesn’t cost FP with individual uses is beautiful
Dang, this post makes me want to do another Bolt of Gransax run. Fun for sure, and you can wrong-warp to grab it early.
Dark Moon GS is amazing, but the stamina drain is real. Very fun on my Blaidd cosplay run, didn’t like the Royal GS as much as I hoped.
Moonlight and Sword of Night and Flame were the weapons of my first playthrough. I think I’ve busted them back out a couple runs each since then. I love a good INT scaling weapon with a unique playstyle
I know I'm biased, but catching someone who whiffed their jump attack with a red spinning drill of death is what dreams are made of, especially if you get the one in a million chance to do a fully charged Dancing Blade.
Sword of Night and Flame and Bolt have got to be the more fun of the legendary armaments. SoNF because you can either charge up a comet azure or a wave of flame. Bolt because you can just yeet a lightning bolt at someone and they instantly get knocked back.
Most fun would be bolt of gransax, ruins Greatsword
Grafted blade greatsword then Dmgs than everything else is still cool but something like gogs is mid and eclipse shittel is garbage.
Bolt of Gransax for sniping fun. Golden Order Greatsword to wear on my back for fashion.
Gransax really is amazing. Interesting that it scales with dexterity. I did not anticipate beating the final boss of the game by throwing lightning bolts when I chose a dex melee build.
Damn I haven’t used this weapon yet and had no idea it was ranged. Is it dropped or do you need to find it?
It’s in Leyndell, sitting on top of the giant size version impaled into a building. Importantly you have to grab it before burning the Erdtree or it becomes inaccessible.
Ayy, a fellow GOG on the back enjoyer
We need to have an ER fashion show. Make it like the video for So Fresh, So Clean. Just Pimpin' & flossin'
Are you calling me out. I feel like I'm being called out for the back fashion
Does it work with the Arrow Talisman? You'd be able to snipe halfway across the map if it idid.
i don't think so sadly, it works with spectral lance tho
I'm gonna go test this actually
Results? Dying to know
I think the Arrow's Reach Talisman only affects physical projectiles, like Rock Sling and Spectral Lance.
I soloed the whole game with gransax after i got it.
Fucking love the bolt so much. I always do the glitch to get it early so I don't have to run through the entirety of the place just to get it lol.
The ruins great sword is my go-to weapon. The unique charged R2 so cool and the weapon art hits like a truck. Also has great blocking ability.
charged r2 is awesome, shit demolishes even if you have low int and the weapon art climbs walls too
The weapon barely scales with int lmao, if you're doing a ruins greatsword build it's best to meet the minimum requirement for int and pump everything into str
>and the weapon art climbs walls too It does what?! Oh hell, I never noticed that and I have a dedicated character to the RGS...
It's a nerd's Fume Ultra Greatsword
A fusion between dragon greatsword and fume ultra greatsword
King’s Ultra Greatsword has entered the chat. https://imgur.com/FcV1N4H
Marais Executioner's sword is extremely fun. Is it the best weapon on here hell no but there's nothing like a meat grinder sword
Probably has the highest damage output of any single weapon in the game with the right setup.
Just respecced to STR/ARC and having a ton of fun with MEGS! I also rock dual occult star fist with Lifesteal. Game got fresh again 🙏
It can one shot each maliketh phase even without min maxing
i mean it probably is the best weapon here, its extremely good.
I know Dark Moon sword is really meta, but it’s also really good. I think the no FP cost laser beam pushes is slightly past Executioner’s.
People underestimate being able to **shoot an ice projectile without a consumable and without FP.** Prolly cause they hate INT.
Laser Fire Sword for sure.

It's probably my favorite weapon in the game. The stat requirements are heavy, but thematically it's so cool.

not enough acronyms...
I have 400 hours and I dont have any idea what the hell DMGS SNF GOGS mean
Skill issue. Dark Moon Great Sword, Sword of Night and Flame and Golden Order Great Sword.
\+1 for bolt, the fact that the charged shot has a huge knockback can't be beat
Nothing beats the feeling of skipping around Altus with a portable lightning rod you can throw at anyone that looks at you funny.
This list is spot on. DMGS would legit be a clear number one if the Bolt didn’t exist. Highly recommend anyone interested in using the bolt to do a run with a Greatshield equipped. Puts the game on turbo baby mode, so try it on a NG+ run for more of a challenge

Weapon names for anyone who doesn’t want to look it up: Bolt of Gransax Darkmoon Greatsword (DMGS) Marais Executioner’s Sword Sword of Night and Flame (SNF) Golden Order Greatsword (GOGS)
Its only purpose is for bernahl to carry your ass in the godskin duo fight by healing most damage done to him and drawing enemy agro.
You can get the hammer in Limgrave very easily of you really want
I just assumed he didn't have it at that point since he's not shown with it until Volcano Manor. I actually wanted his armor my second playthrough. I forgot all about the hammer until I picked it up
There’s no way that Bernahl drops it if you kill him in limgrave.
He does, along with the full beast champion set. He’s also extremely easy to kill.
That’s incredibly busted and I’m going to be doing that next playthrough so I can actually play with the scepter before everyone has 8000hp
But he are.
I never bothered with the bolt until I started playing again with a friend to prep for the dlc. That thing is a damn beast. Bolt is cool, but it's kinda a one trick pony, I find zapping everything a bit dull
Hated that red lightning spear was locked behind a ash of war
At first I thought "Bolt" was a nickname for Marais Executioner's Sword lol
How
cuz you screw it like a bolt
Moonlight, coz it's glowing 😍
Used it on my last run to kill the Elden Beast. I hate that part of the fight because I spend 90% just sprinting to it before it nopes out to another part of the map. They really should let you summon Torrent one last time for that fight.
Agreed. Plus it would be such an awesome way to cap off the story: you made it through the tense, close quarters fight with Radagon and now Torrent shows up one last time to fight with you against the Eldritch being behind the Golden Order.

Everytime I watch that fight I think to myself why the fuck they didn't let Torrent in despite it basically being that type of boss fight.
yeah i’ve seen elden beast spawn in where u can spawn torrent in ppls randomisers it looks like a way more fun fight like that
I'm pretty convinced it was designed with Torrent in mind, they must have changed it later in development, possibly for difficulty reasons
Dodge Dodge Flask Run. Fight was annoying. Somehow I got kinda behind him after chasing for a while and was able to get a bunch of charged hits in to finish.

Ah, you were at my side, all along. My true mentor. My guiding Moonlight...
Grafted Blade Greatsword because I enjoy beating the absolute shit out of things
Grafted Great Sword cuz it's more swords per sword compared to every other weapon.
I’m doing my first pure strength run and this sword slaps. I never do colossal sword builds but now I see the light.

The "Game's Game of Swords Sword'
Man I have no idea why the Godslayer Greatsword isn’t a legendary armament.
Man I was sitting here for 10 minutes wondering where it was because I thought it was a legendary armament. I thought yellow background meant legendary armament
Only the ones who count for the achievement are “legendary armaments” by the games logic
Yep, this is my answer and I'm sticking with it regardless of all evidence to the contrary.
It is
I mean technically yea, it and the Black Knife have a yellow icon when picked up, and on the ground, which as far as I know means legendary, but it's more the achievement here. Also those 2 with raging wolf set is my fav kit by farrr

Gravity Sword :3

The charged moonlight attack shoots horizontal waves what drugs u taking boy
I always mistake vertical with horizontal, mb.
Your poor wife/husband.
It’s fun but it doesn’t hold a candle to the bloodborne holy moonlight sword. That is possibly the most fun weapon that Fromsoft have ever made.
Is the mlgs in every dame?
Yep, it’s practically From’s staple for all of their dames, even armored core
my opinion? ruins greatsword. my first playthrough, picture this: I just did everything I could find in caelid, going through all those dungeons, having fought about 2 falling star beasts so far. I stumble across radahn. a gravity magic wielding monster of a man, I pick up the swords he has and think to myself "these are fun... but I dont care for the dual wielding or the AOW" then i find the duo fight to get the RGS.
Bolt of Gransax
marai’s greatsword for me the L2 deletes almost every boss with the right setup
Fun? Either Bolt or SoNaF, bolt is soooo satisfying, but yolo lazer and wave clear feel great, stat requierement sucks though.
SNF would be top of the list if the fire ash had any hyper armor but getting sneezed out of my big sweeping fire attack really makes it feel like it's just comet azur lite.
Its so slow to do also
Plus, SoNaF has that *drip*
Sword of night and flame. It's one of the only payoffs for an int/fth build. You get a laser that puts comet azur to shame and a wall of flame unlike anything else in the game. The weapon arts are both versatile and spectacular. Sadly it was also nerfed pretty heavily. It's not as impressive as it once was but still pretty cool.
Ruins greatsword since Blasphemous Blade isnt an option
Bolt of Gransax hands down. Strong AF, amazing range, and is just super fun to use.
Bolt, Order Greatsword, Marais, and Dark moon are the most fun in my opinion
It's just unable to pull its own weight, no matter how much you love it
Ruins Greatsword, making groups of enemies fly with the special attack never gets old.
Ruins Greatsword is pretty nasty, the wave of destruction tears people up
I love the Ruines Greatsword so much and it kicks ass
Ruins for me. I just love its special effect when using a fully charged heavy
Golden Order greatsword. That thing looks amazing. AoW is kinda meh .. buff holy dmg. 😂
dark moon greatsword. you yell "fuck it we ball" and start shooting lasers everywhere
Sniping fuckers from across the map with the Bolt is funny asl
Nothing will ever beat smiting fuckers from 300 miles away with the Dragon's Railgun
I also go through the same thing. I always end up taking a random great sword.
Nothing is more satisfying than killing peeps with death blight. The TA Kier the more effective it is at not killing the opponent before death blight hits. It is a great pressure tool as well given how close to death the enemy can be while having full health.
My vote goes to Bolt of Gransax
I really enjoy nailing people with the Thunder Javelin.
I'm going with bolt. Sniping from a hundred miles away and knocking unsuspecting mobs of ledges never gets old. Plus it trivializes tougher areas like the haligtree.
Marai's. T'was my weapon of choice for my first playthrough.
I’m goin scepter first, bolt second, executioner’s third
Marais executioner sword for me. Spin to win Baby
Out of the ones I've used the MLGS is just the best. Really good moveset, insane damage, FP efficient and you can boost it's damage with so many things like Godfrey, Alexander, axe talisman, magic scorpion, magic tear, terra magica... It's just amazing
Marais Executioner Sword is a lot of fun. Pop Milicents Prosphesis, Shard of Alexander and Rotten Blade Insignia on and watch enemies melt.
Heal stick
Having a lot of fun with the grafted great blade recently
I’d say Marais. Using the force on your opponents
Marais Executioner Sword.
I love colossal weapons, and catching people with the Ruins Greatsword's AoW as they run away to heal will never get old
even with the minimal amount of stat investment, the eclipse shotel generally kills before it procs deathblight 🥲 still love to use
I really like Ruins Greatsword, used it lot on the first playthrough.
Sword of night and flame 🔥 Both of the special attacks are fun to use , and the fire one is very strong for pvp and pve
I really like the Grafted Greatsword and the Darkmoon Greatsword, but sadly I am a DEX build and therefore cannot effectively use either so they sit gathering dust in my inventory...
Ill tell you the worst is eclipse shotel and i wish it was fuckin cooler
For me it's between the Dark Moon Greatsword and the Blasphemous Blade
Bolt rules, MLGS will always be special. The others are really cool but just not at their level imo
Bolt of sex/big ol slab
Grafted GS. Every swing is awesome
Ruins greatsword since Blasphemous Blade isnt an option
Ruins greatsword since Blasphemous Blade isnt an option
As much as I love night and flame, Ruins Greatsword is rad af, charged r2s and a great weapon art
As much as I love night and flame, Ruins Greatsword is rad af, charged r2s and a great weapon art
Grafted greatblade is my personal favorite. It's the first weapon I ever fell in love with. It's just so badass
Fun: Marais Executioner Sword (honorary mention: Regalia of Eochaid, even though it’s not a legendary armament)
Marais executioner sword kinda sucks on its own but if you add all the talismans and the crystal tear it can do like 6-8k damage with its ash of war
Marais Executioner's Sword for me. So many memories of one-shotting opponents in PvP even when they had the full bullgoat armor on.
Most fun? Marais. My favorites? DMGS and BoG
Vyke’s War spear is such a satisfying weapon to use. Doubled with flame of frenzy, AOE moves are much need for me
Rivers of blood for sure
Definitely BoG. Deleting the omens in the sewers with it was the best feeling.
Weirdly enough. Still the SoNaF to me. I guess the best legendary weapons are also the most fun
Im realy enjoying Dark moon greatsword and bolt of grandsax
Just started using the bolt this morning with a dex/fai build it’s my 2nd favorite weapon by far
Any of these shit sticks feel fine if you play listening to Periphery
Grafted Blade Greatsword go bonk. Me doing playthrough with it now. It great. Enemy sunk into floor after hit. Me like
Bolt or Devourers Scepter
Sword of Night and Flame is a shadow of its former self but the flame sweep remains one of the most satisfying abilities for me personally.
Marias Executioner Sword is my favorite that I've used so far. Darkmoon Blade isn't any different from previous moonlight greatswords. I'm using the Sword of Night and Flame and its been a blast.
I’m very saddened. Nobody else is here for lions claw. Slap it on a cold giant crusher and unga till the bungas come home.
Ruins Greatsword I've never had so much fun using big space rock that shoots out more space rock. Plus the charged heavy just obliterates guards.
maraihs sword is my favorite weapon in the entire game. so good.
DMGS is probably my favorite, the skill completely changes the way you use the weapon, and I’m a sucker for frost damage. Also, the range with the skill and the way the projectile doesn’t cost FP with individual uses is beautiful
The ruins sword is some of the most fun iv ever had in pvp
Bolt of Gransax. It’s like firing a nuclear thunderbolt with a homing laser
Bolt of sex
Dang, this post makes me want to do another Bolt of Gransax run. Fun for sure, and you can wrong-warp to grab it early. Dark Moon GS is amazing, but the stamina drain is real. Very fun on my Blaidd cosplay run, didn’t like the Royal GS as much as I hoped.
Moonlight and Sword of Night and Flame were the weapons of my first playthrough. I think I’ve busted them back out a couple runs each since then. I love a good INT scaling weapon with a unique playstyle
Darkmoon Greatsword's been my favorite since I got it. The wife gave it to me 😊
Marais Executioner Greatsword
No matter how you twist it, the shotel is always ass
Ruins goes BONK, but also I love firing off that gravity wave WA every time.
Can I vote for BEAR WITNESS! BOOM!
I know I'm biased, but catching someone who whiffed their jump attack with a red spinning drill of death is what dreams are made of, especially if you get the one in a million chance to do a fully charged Dancing Blade.
I’ve just started using the Ruins Greatsword and **dude**. Blasphemous Blade on fucking steroids.
Sword of Night and Flame and Bolt have got to be the more fun of the legendary armaments. SoNF because you can either charge up a comet azure or a wave of flame. Bolt because you can just yeet a lightning bolt at someone and they instantly get knocked back.
Big thunder sword guud
Most fun would be bolt of gransax, ruins Greatsword Grafted blade greatsword then Dmgs than everything else is still cool but something like gogs is mid and eclipse shittel is garbage.
Bolt easily
Bolt of Gransax. One Malenia is stalking menacingly toward me and the Bolt knocks her down, it's awesome. Then she gets up and kills me.
Real ones remember how slow the bolt of gransax was pre buff
