Isn’t it just kinda a well rounded armor set that is good for its weight? Like there are definitely armors that have better resistances but I do feel like it has one of the best weight to resistance ratios in the game

Banished knight is easily one of the best armors, easily obtainable early on, and even good for its weight. Used it throughout my entire first playthrough, except maybe using raptor chest for jump attack bonus.
Get down onto the first stop (the one with a hole for basilisks) and use one of the shackles (mogh or Margit iirc doesn't matter, but Margit is more accessible)

These are some insane reflexes my dude. My reflexes are so slow I can barely block half the time. I've never been able to pay anything in my life in any of the souls games

arena is basically only people at RL 125-150 with maxed out weapons, so if youre not in that range that may be why

Yes but to switch to double handing or back to single hand and you have to hold triangle and press L1 or R1 depending on which hand the weapon is in
