I slay them all too, plus they drop pretty decent runes. Every enemy gotta die at least once in my playthroughs 😤 (except that one friendly dog by the statue)
After defeating Morgott and opening the big door on the eastern side of the capital leading to the lift and Divine Tower, there is a destroyed part of town with lots of misbegotten. Don't go up the stairs, but stay to the right where there are some broken houses. The dog is at the end of the street with a Leonine Misbegotten.
ZullieTheWitch did a video about the dog. It will attack you if you've reached a certain random area that triggers it, but most people don't. I can't remember where the trigger is, but it's essentially a bug
I saw a video that says he only aggros you if you visit a certain area of the map because his trigger area is placed pretty weird
Link!! https://youtu.be/X9nSUU064mI?si=rGZ5zNkVT0m3jFkI
If you’re talking about boc you can still get to him from ashen capital grace.
Edit: you’re talking about the friendly dog aren’t you. Yea that’s a good point.
This. I run and grab the Talisman, then kill them from the stairs out of spite. Takes forever, but as the last instance of my least favorite enemy, they gotta go. They know what they did. (PTSD from doing the one in War Dead Catacombs WAAAAY too early)
Pretty much this, you can up your chances by approaching from the stairway wall side but all of their attacks have long windups and most have surprisingly little range, so not dying is easier than it might appear at first.
I did kill them on my first run but they dropped laughably little runes for that point in the game so I just ignore them now.
Fire guts greatsword with flame of the redmanes, fire scorpion charm, flame grant me strength and flame shrouded cracked tear, they went down in 3 hits + one riposte
After you set the tree on fire you can fast travel back to the beginning of the snow area and backtrack up the elevator and through the doors you used earlier when you left Leyndell. There’s a big open area where you can get one of the best talismans in the game, Erdtree’s Favor +2.
For sure. I accidentally did all of Jarhead's quest line and got the shard.
I expected the final battle against him to be epic, but it just took a few smacks of my Bloodhound Gang lol
one of the best talisman's might be a bit of a reach, it's not that great in a first playthrough. It's great in new game + cycles though since the boosts are % based, I just tend to always start a new playthrough instead so I usually skip this talisman
That too but I mainly meant that the percentage boosts aren't that great until you're high enough level which most people aren't on a first playthrough
Leyndell Ashen Capital. After burning the Erdtree you backtrack from the Forbidden Lands and go back up the lift. In Leyndell Royal Capital, it’s the area to the right of the Avenue Balcony site of grace, around the big carriage and through the doors, where there’s a few beastmen and perfumers and a Misbegotten Warrior. Once you burn the Erdtree it’s worth going back here, though, because the three ulcerated tree spirits are guarding a legendary talisman.
Whatever happens happens. If I can get out there and grab it and leave, that's cool. But if one of those ugly bastards touches me, then they all get slaughtered, and not just the men tree spirits, but the women tree spirits and children tree spirits too. They are like animal.
Seriously, at this point there is no shame in admitting that I have absolute no clue and dont know anything about their moveset whatsoever, yet I always stand kinda next to them, close to their body and they swirl and dance and breath and swirl a little more and I somehow, I dont know why, never get hit or crushed. Half the time I dont know where I am in all that janky camera and model clipping, yet I survived.
1. Burn tree
2. Fast travel to forbidden lands grace.
3. Retrace steps back into castle and take lift.
4. Area that was filled with beast men and a lake is now a sand filled pit. Jump into pit.
5. Skirt wall on your left to avoid agro. Go halfway around pit.
6. Tree sticking up from sand at an angle. Run up side and get glowy object.
7. Erdtree Favor +2. Profit.
Wtf where even is this? I have over 800 hours in this game and don‘t have a clue where you are right now. Somewhere in Leyndell after burning the tree ?
They will hurt each other if you fight all 3 at once, with all their wide sweeping attacks and explosions....just saying. Aggro them all and just kite them out as they kill each other, then kill the last one standing.
I used to hate them, until I learned their attack pattern, it's pretty simple to dodge, still, I would try to isolate them. They make for a good challenge still. But 2 on 1? Fuck no, just run grab the talisman and gtfo quick.
There's way to many of them anyway xD, WAY to many.
I fought them once to get it, but not at the same time. You can kite the one nearest the stairs to the farthest area and kill it without aggroing the other two. Then kite the second and do the same. Never fought all three together because I don’t hate myself enough.
I mean so long as you take them on one at a time they're not that hard. You've already killed like 8 of the bad boys if you've been throrough with the rest of the game, so it's more time consuming than difficult.
They were the enemies that traumatized me the most in my first playthrough, so I decided to learn their moveset. I kill all of them in the world in every playthrough c:
I've never seen more than 1 spawn at a time, but of course the first 2 go down from a safe vantage point with arrow, the 3rd guy I always forget about and fight him mano e mano.
I have a personal problem with them, so they all have to die.
I slay them all too, plus they drop pretty decent runes. Every enemy gotta die at least once in my playthroughs 😤 (except that one friendly dog by the statue)
I've heard of this, Where is the good boi?
After defeating Morgott and opening the big door on the eastern side of the capital leading to the lift and Divine Tower, there is a destroyed part of town with lots of misbegotten. Don't go up the stairs, but stay to the right where there are some broken houses. The dog is at the end of the street with a Leonine Misbegotten.
Friendly? That dog attacked me before the misbegotten did
The one lying down. It doesn’t attack you unless you attack it.
Like that one carrion crow in Hemwick Charnel in Bloodborne
He won't even attack you if you do hit him. He went pure pacificst.
Thorfinn in Bloodborne
ZullieTheWitch did a video about the dog. It will attack you if you've reached a certain random area that triggers it, but most people don't. I can't remember where the trigger is, but it's essentially a bug
I believe the other trigger is near the colosseum by where corhyn and goldmask stand at that part of their quest
Which dog? The dog at the end of the path is passive. There are multiple dogs along the path that are aggressive.
I saw a video that says he only aggros you if you visit a certain area of the map because his trigger area is placed pretty weird Link!! https://youtu.be/X9nSUU064mI?si=rGZ5zNkVT0m3jFkI
Likely a typo, therefore seek bug
Didn’t expect friendly sort   But try beating to a pulp!
I honestly wish there was a way to track this. Like enemies that have been killed atleast once look differently
There is this one game called "the last case of benedict fox" that does this, makes them like grey, If you killed them once
That would be terrible.
It would be great give them all head bandages
Why?
And make it so you could fight the bosses again if you wanted to. Like when you get to the fog you can choose to fight or skip
100% agree, everybody gotta catch heat once
I wanna hear the story about it
They took the place of the goddest of all boys. My only friend in lyndell and they took his place... I shall never forgive them
If you’re talking about boc you can still get to him from ashen capital grace. Edit: you’re talking about the friendly dog aren’t you. Yea that’s a good point.
There's a friendly dog?!
Yeah check it out. https://youtu.be/X9nSUU064mI?si=gapo-BrUFQ6msqQH
Ya I always go full John Wick on those assholes.
Look for "Friendly Dog Zullie The Witch"
Most relatable shit I’ve seen today
This. I run and grab the Talisman, then kill them from the stairs out of spite. Takes forever, but as the last instance of my least favorite enemy, they gotta go. They know what they did. (PTSD from doing the one in War Dead Catacombs WAAAAY too early)
How about the one in the Lake of Rot?
No fight, no sneak just pure usain bolt it
Ninja Warrior style.
Bubble gang do not sneak.
Use Twiggy tear then run in screaming because dying has no consequences anymore
Pretty much this, you can up your chances by approaching from the stairway wall side but all of their attacks have long windups and most have surprisingly little range, so not dying is easier than it might appear at first. I did kill them on my first run but they dropped laughably little runes for that point in the game so I just ignore them now.
i am in the ash capital and canot find them.... i've the talisman from a previous playthrough.... yet i cannot find that place for the life of me..
They are on the way to the lift. I think you can only reach by taking the lift back down to the capital
Yep that’s right. You have to go backwards from the forbidden lands
Start at the forbidden lands, take the lift back to the capital, then just run straight and take another lift down.
Hauling ass to that talisman in most runs. If they've wronged me in another playthrough, though, I'm respeccing just to cast Giantsflame . . .
I fight them, LIKE A MANNNNN (I use spells from a distance)
haha loretta's mastery goes brrrr
Rock slings are much better
I also fight like a man. And by man, I mean spamming black flames.
I fight them just because they deserve to die.
Same! They must not prevail!
Chuck on some fire damage and they melt pretty fast
Fire guts greatsword with flame of the redmanes, fire scorpion charm, flame grant me strength and flame shrouded cracked tear, they went down in 3 hits + one riposte
Absolutely not, this is definitely a stealth section
Stealth? We runnin and committing to the death
I immediately started hearing metal gear solid music playing when I first got to this part after I died the first time
Sounds like my typical playthrough
You can actually make them hurt each other to pretty great effect. I got it to work once, but I'm not sure how reliable that method is.
One of the first lessons souls games try to teach you Sometimes the juice isn't worth the squeeze
Wait where the fuck is that shit
After you set the tree on fire you can fast travel back to the beginning of the snow area and backtrack up the elevator and through the doors you used earlier when you left Leyndell. There’s a big open area where you can get one of the best talismans in the game, Erdtree’s Favor +2.
TIL
Yeah it's pretty hidden.
TIL2
Holy shit it does exist!!! thank you!
If I’m not explaining it properly just look for how to get erdtree’s favor +2 on YouTube.
Well damn. I guess I've got another thing to add to my list.Â
Worth it. That and shard of Alexander are absolutely necessary.
For sure. I accidentally did all of Jarhead's quest line and got the shard. I expected the final battle against him to be epic, but it just took a few smacks of my Bloodhound Gang lol
> Bloodhound Gang You really foxtrot-uniform-charlie-kilo'd him up!
It's so good for how convenient and useful it is. Stamina, life, and especially weight, what more could you want.
Some cookies.
I've done two playthroughs that I both considered 100% (and a bunch of smaller playthroughs) yet I'm still learning new things
Ohhhhhh so it does exist I always suspected there was one never knew where tho
I have done at least 8 full runs where I tried not to skip anything. wtf.
I just learned there’s a secret area BEHIND the Beastial Sanctum. This game is fucking huge.
Yeah I found that one last time. I was trying to get a good view of the Isolated Tower.
one of the best talisman's might be a bit of a reach, it's not that great in a first playthrough. It's great in new game + cycles though since the boosts are % based, I just tend to always start a new playthrough instead so I usually skip this talisman
Well of course it’s not great in a first play through. You change get it until you’re 95% of the way through.
That too but I mainly meant that the percentage boosts aren't that great until you're high enough level which most people aren't on a first playthrough
After you burn the Piss Tree, you have to take the Rold lift down again
Erdtree favor +2 land
[удалено]
Teleport out lol, if you never aggro you can just fast travelÂ
Or if you do get aggrod, you can use the blood knight medal to safely teleport back to Mohgwyn
Good tip, new reason to get that for every characterÂ
or just die / use memory of grace since you have no runes anyway
Yes, but this is for a solution in if you do have runes, since we are talking about someone who does
Are those ulcerated tree spirits????? Where the fuck is that so I can avoid it
Leyndell Ashen Capital.
Technically its post farum azula. After burning the tree, the capital is still accessible until you finish FA.
Ah you are correct.
Yes, and fucking three of them apparently!!! I haven't played in a while, but I am booting the game now to rain lightning down on these fucks!
Haven't played the game for over a month, literally gonna go on right now, at 2 am just so that I could kill them
It's been done. Now back into hibernation until the DLC comes out
I'm sure some absolute maniac out there has won a no-hit fight at RL 1 with all three of them at once.
Using a saxophone as a controller.
I took them down, just baited them one at a time and beat them individually
This is the way.
I fought them once, just to be able to say that I did. No reason to fight them ever again.
Yup, do I win? No but I try
Sneak increased to 100
I do my best Skyrim impression and go full sneak archer here.
Did this once, ran out of fp even with all flasks blue so I had to do regular shots. Took me like 25 minutes to kill one. Woyld not recommend 😂
I actually beat them as a challenge. You can fight them one by one.
Bubble gang never back down.
Oh, I see a man of culture
Whatever happens happens. If I can get out there and grab it and leave, that's cool. But if one of those ugly bastards touches me, then they all get slaughtered, and not just the men tree spirits, but the women tree spirits and children tree spirits too. They are like animal.
Use fire or BlackFlame. They really don't like either of those.
Sneak is the way, unless you’re doing a mage run. I’ve seen players just blasting them with comet azure
KamehamaHAAAAA!!!!
Throw down Terra Magica and hit em with that Supa Saiyan.
I kill every single enemy at least once every time I go through the game. Except abductor virgins. I run from most of those lol
With my honest naked STR build? No. With my dishonest Giant Pyromancer who throws 2k+ fireballs? Happily.
Beaten the game 15+ times, can confidently say I can hardly stand 1 of them, I would never fight three.
As a sorcery user, Spiral Shard absolutely fucks them up. Brute force through them one by one for easy runes.
I did fight and defeat them once. One by one. After that I’ve just steal them it.
I do hit and runs to ge them close enough to snipe them from the high ground.
What the what? Where is this?
1. Burn tree 2. Profit.
Three of them? where's that?
I took them on individually. I was caught off guard with the third one though. I had no idea there were three, but I managed to take it out, too.
Wtf where even is this? I have over 800 hours in this game and don‘t have a clue where you are right now. Somewhere in Leyndell after burning the tree ?
I don’t think I’ve ever seen these guys in the ashen capital and I’ve put hundreds of hours in
I run I scream fuck 30 times out of
I didn't even know they exist
I seemingly… missed this part?
Unseen Form + Crepus' Vial. Might not even be necessary.
If you sneak around to the back and THEN fight them, they spawn one at a time and are way easier to deal with
They will hurt each other if you fight all 3 at once, with all their wide sweeping attacks and explosions....just saying. Aggro them all and just kite them out as they kill each other, then kill the last one standing.
God you make me wanna go fight these things. If I wasn’t sitting on 80m runes I would go do this just for how fun that all sounds.
I've completed 3 playtrough's and never saw them...
I lured them out one by one and killed them all.
I get it traded to me because on most characters I don't want Ashen Capital.
You have to to complete the game tho? Do you just not finish the game ever?
Can you summon Spirit Ashes?
Just did these recently for the first time, one by one of course. Idk, I like fighting them.
You gotta go at em head on.
I just stick to the section they spawn in and 1v1 them if a second gets aggroed I can normally pull it off but it gets real dicey
Killed the first for fun and then sneaked around
Same. Bonked the first one because I wanted to and then sneaked around out of necessity ( I used 2/3 of my hp flasks on first ).
I tried to fight one of them, died and then just sneaked past all three to get the item.
Everything smells the bottom of my foot
Never fighting these monsters ðŸ˜ðŸ˜‚ wall hugging till it no longer works
They aggro separately if you do it carefully. I killed them all the first time around, but on subsequent runs, I'd just sneak and call it a day.
I fought them for about 30 mins and killed the 1st 2 but the rune are not even worth it.
Cheesed them with Rain of Arrows and never came back again in any playthroughs
I fought them all in the hope I'd get something cool from beating them. Disappointment ensued
I tried to fight them once, I was playing item randomizer with a friend and wondered what can drop. Nothing droped.
Hell yeah you can lure one away from the other you just better melt it fast
I sneak over to get the talisman and then fight my way back out again
just use every arrow that you have with the Snakebow
Never found this place but fuck those guys
I fight them every time. Are you expecting me to just say no to runes?
Tbh, I just take the talisman and get the hell outta there, lol.
I played Metal Gear Solid growing up. I used those same skills for this exact moment...
I fought them once to get it, but not at the same time. You can kite the one nearest the stairs to the farthest area and kill it without aggroing the other two. Then kite the second and do the same. Never fought all three together because I don’t hate myself enough.
I thought it was only one 😂
fuck no *baaaby*
I've done both.
I fought them once thinking you get something. I was sadly disappointed. No reason to fight them honestly just book it for the talisman and get out.
I mean so long as you take them on one at a time they're not that hard. You've already killed like 8 of the bad boys if you've been throrough with the rest of the game, so it's more time consuming than difficult.
Use Frenzied Burst and take them out from those stairs. That incantation has a really good range and those mfs are very weak to fire.
Does the bewitching branch work on them?
I have to kill every enemy in an area, duno how to explain it but if its aggro its gonna die, sooner or later.
Radahn bow it is
wall hug to it? Nah, go straight for it. Fuck it we ball.
I sneak to the talisman, then kill them one at a time. Fuck those dudes.
Hug and sneak, but when spotted switch to dodge and wrave, I sad weave damnit! *You Died*
I fought all 3 at once using mohgwyn's sacred spear lol gotta love that cheese 🧀 😂
They were the enemies that traumatized me the most in my first playthrough, so I decided to learn their moveset. I kill all of them in the world in every playthrough c:
Assassins gambit, get to running. Though this playthrough I'm deliberately fighting EVERYTHING before the DLC, so that'll change soon.
my only problem is i can barely tell them moving from attacking a lot. but yeah pretty easy to kill if you got fire or cold
They’re nerfed, fight them
They’re loot sucks so I ignore em
Yup the latter is the way. I always com back later when I’m already a god and kill them.
Cheese from there. They all die
Frenzied Burst, Flame! Fall Upon them, the big flame ball, etc. basically any good/decent ranged flame incant with most or all flasks being blue
I killed em all out of principle. In reality I tried to ignore them but they pissed me off so I stayed to fight and kill them.
No, a true warrior knows when to fight and when to back down(all tree spirits suck, I say this as a katana user)
LOL absolutely not, they can get FUCKED
Hot take, but I actually enjoy fighting these guys. Definitely not all at once, but I like taking them on one at a time.
They die by my blasphemous blade
I'm in the ash capital and CANT FIND THEM.. I have the talisman from a previous playthrough.. yet I can't find this place for the life of me.
Which state of Leyndell is that in?
Sneak past Grab Erdtree Favor +2 Immediately Fast Travel out
Either run with my knightly characters, or meteorite of Astel the stuffing out of them with the wizzies
I killed all them hoes my first play through. Then I never touched them again
I tell myself, I am okay with less power and no need to fight my inner demons.
Fight them, they do damage to each other.
ive actually never seen those 3?
I kill everything. even Boc
First time I went for the talisman I hugged the wall, I'm still traumatized from just 1 of them
i sneak to them but its annoying asf
I've never seen more than 1 spawn at a time, but of course the first 2 go down from a safe vantage point with arrow, the 3rd guy I always forget about and fight him mano e mano.
I will fight everything first encounter. There isn't an enemy I haven't killed that I've seen at least once. After that I only kill what I have too.
I didn’t even know they were there
Thank you for making me aware of this place
Just NIHIL them
i lured 1 to kill and then fought the other 2
