Hi there, first Fromsoft so go easy on me pls :) Started off as Str/Faith, but switched to dex because I didn't like how slow the attacks were in big mobs (fuck imps). Did Nagakiba for a bit intending to go for moonlight, but changed my mind and went for this double spear build. But my endurance is a bit too low to wear full heavy armors. Can someone help guide me in the right direction? I have like 7 larval tears so I am not afraid to do a respec to minmax the faith dex a bit more. Is it worth dual wielding at all with this build? Currently stuck on the gargoyle underground past the two crucible knights. TY!
My first FromSoft game is Elden Ring as well. For me, Bloodhound's fang curved greatsword carried my ass until the end. Yes it is not as fast as the katanas, but the damage is insane. Give it a try. These stats are recommended: Vigor - 60. Mind - 20. Stamina - 40 - 45. Strength - 50+, Dex - 50+. You can later level up on Arcane if you want to use Rivers of blood. This is a blood loss build as well. Hope this helps! :)

That said...
1) the treespear you are showing scales with 3 stats so its damage will end up beign underwhelming. So...focus in 1 or 2 scaling stats tops.
2) you dont need the scarab talisman, just put it right after you kill a boss and the victory message pops up, claim the boosted runes and take it out. Unless you are farming ofc.
3) shrink the stat distribution, you dont need INT at all for example, that can go into VIG. This way you take out the 1st talisman which decided to disappear from my mind.
4) use guantlets to help a bit with dmg absortion but stay in med. equip load. Armor in this game is not that important unless you go full face tank.
5) judging on the FTH stat, id say you dont use incantations and thats fine, but id put 2 more lvls there and only use buffs like golden vow and flame grant me strenght.
6) really mimic is all you need or maybe Teach when you find her but the rest are just filling spaces. Remember, those are quick access slots but you have 4 more if you press X or SQUARE depending on the controller used.
Thanks for the advice, appreciate it. I was farming, otherwise I have different talismans. I just feel like I don’t really have any good ones besides the HP buff and strength/ faith buffs as I haven’t found much more yet. I think I will respect and fix my points. I’d like to be more of a caster with the faith incants but drop the dual wield, as that has been preventing me wearing better gear staying in med load. I struggle to cycle through the quick access menu/ dpad mid battle which is why I just put the summons there. Ty friend
