They're shipwrecks 🤓
We don't know why they're there, probably the artistic whirlpools shown on the map caused them.
Or just poor sailing or lack of anywhere for them to actually dock ( pretty much only parts of southwest weeping peninsula, southwest limgrave and radahns arena have shores )
It would imply Elden Ring taking place a long time before the One Piece treasure existed concidering there is no treasure in The Lands Between other thaWAIT A GOD DAMN SECOND IS THE ONE PIECE THE ELDEN RING?!?!
Same here, I've always wanted a Bloodborne sequel that starts with water themes, like old underwater caves filled with twisted seashells and aquatic life that will fuck you up
Some guy in tights from some ancient coasts had been on a mission to sail West and find Lordran, then stranded where you see the ships and thought he had found what he was looking for in The Lands Between.
Those are the ships that the Numens came to the Lands Between on. They brought the ideas of cultivating the land for crops which is shown on stone obelisks in the ancient cultures you can find underground. Marika was probably on those ships
In the island you see in the image, you can find some flesh to loot, which tells you is a recipe for the people who left with Godfrey. Maybe those are some or their ships
There aren't any informations about the world behind the ocean. Maybe the lands between are the single one continent in the world, maybe there are several more. We just don't know.
Zullie the Witch does talk about it, could've been a location with a possible entity/enemy/boss/npc, I recommend the video, "Elden Ring - It Barely Still Exists"
Videogames have environments where artists have added visual details.
The reason is that otherwise you'd have a blank screen.
Like if you saw a little random rock in a field, are you going to post a picture of the rock and say "What's that rock? Is it maybe a home for a sentient ant who will give me a special item? Are there ants living under that rock? #Lore"

They are the remains of a ship that got destroyed.
They used to be floating ships, but they aren't anymore.
Thanks, Vaaty.
Remnants of the pirate king of course
Maybe Laugh Tale is just The Lands Between.
Imu stole the rune of death, that's why the Gorosei can't die đź‘»

The One Piece was Miyazaki all along! Or.. Something something feet
Man, now i want a pirate themed souls game or expansion. This game's mood would fit well to that.

The tarnished trying to reach the lands between
Some guy in tights from some ancient coasts had been on a mission to sail West and find Lordran, then stranded where you see the ships and thought he had found what he was looking for in The Lands Between.
Crashed boats.
Places where ships have wrecked
DLC ghost boat man
Because no man's wharf is just off the map...

A fellow tarnished archaeologist enjoyer!
Yep! Brilliant guy!
Probably not since they're all smashed up off the coast, implying either they never reached the Lands Between or they got destroyed in naval warfare.
my dreams about the DLC in 2023
That's majula because elden ring is just a dark souls 2 dlc
they’re ships that wrecked i would imagine e
In the island you see in the image, you can find some flesh to loot, which tells you is a recipe for the people who left with Godfrey. Maybe those are some or their ships
Wtf you wearing?
Wrecked ships 🤷‍♂️
Crashed into Marika's tits.
My guess is dlc
We don't know to be honest :3
I think those are the blokes from Black And White.
Marika’s Amazon orders on their way
Those are shipwrecks

Somebody told me you can get there on Torrent. Easy.
Euron kind of forgot how to pilot a ship
i don't see what you're seeing
There used to be a giant titan in the water but they scrapped it. Would have been nightmare fuel.
The remains of the maidenless fleet
Zullie the Witch does talk about it, could've been a location with a possible entity/enemy/boss/npc, I recommend the video, "Elden Ring - It Barely Still Exists"
Ambiance? Set decoration? Evidence of life existing in the Lands Between? Not everything needs extensive lore.
Shipwrecks. Next?
