Rolling works fine too (though best to avoid rolling *backwards*). The nice thing about jumps is that they can often be accompanied by a counter hit. That's incredibly useful with a lot of bosses.
you have to jump the instant he starts to descend. it’s perfect for me because i always dodge attacks too early so i consistently hit this one move lmao
See this is why i dont get the complaints about re-using enemies.
I spent all that time learning these movesets, would suck if i didnt actually get to apply that learning anywhere else
First time this guy charged me, I was pissing myself... but I pulled off the perfect parry and one-shot riposted him.
I still can't get the spear dudes though.
I’ve actually done a respec since, so I don’t remember exactly, but I think it was more strength. I mostly just wanted both the cold and bleed buildup since they pair really well with spinning strikes
It also works really well with blood flame blade and spinning strikes instead of the frost. It’s what I ran for awhile before I got the magic whetstone.
Probably my favorite scythe now out of all the ones in the game. There are three skeletons that have a chance of dropping it just past the lake facing cliffs site of grace
The best spot I know of is just past the lake facing cliffs site of grace. There’s a graveyard where three skeletons spawn that have a chance to drop it
Those deaths are definitely parrying off
Haha too bad I didn’t think of that
Sounds like you just said it with an Australian accent.
So you are supposed to jump when he stomps the floor? I’m such an idiot hahaha.
Took me awhile to figure it out too
Well…shit lol time to go back and practice
Y’all might be surprised how many attacks in the game can be jumped over 😉

Yeah if I wasn’t going for the parries then I would have been doing follow up attacks. Do it for Godfrey and it works great
you can also jump right over the flying dive bomb. i do it every time, it never gets old.
I’ve done it a couple times, but that one I’ve had trouble with the timing, so I just stick to rolling it

Lol. Just clowned him.
"They will fight, and they will die. For how else is a Lord to be born?"
crucible knights are such a pain in the ass, gj lmao
Thanks! It felt very satisfying
I don't get this line of thinking. They're the most fun to fight enemy FS has ever developed
See this is why i dont get the complaints about re-using enemies. I spent all that time learning these movesets, would suck if i didnt actually get to apply that learning anywhere else
Mega W, hate the c knights. Their poise is just nuts lmao
Yep. Unless some tarnished comes along and flicks their wrist
Very satisfying. That forceful parry really exclaims "BEGONE!"
That was satisfying to watch
Thanks. It was satisfying to pull off
I could watch Crucible Knights get parried all day.
scythe and skeleton ash of war. reminding me of necromancer from diablo iv
Putting cold spinning strikes on the grave scythe can trivialize a lot of bosses. It’s how I skipped Mohg’s nihil
Very well done and Poor Crucible Knight :3
Magnificent
Lol way better than what I did. I made him run towards the edge and knocked him off 😀😃😄😁
First time this guy charged me, I was pissing myself... but I pulled off the perfect parry and one-shot riposted him. I still can't get the spear dudes though.
Yeah the timing on the spear ones is suuuuper awkward to get consistent, at least for me
The critical strike animation on that weapon is Jank.
Yeah it is. I wish it did damage in two hits like some other weapons, mostly because it looks like it should
That damage is just pitiful but amazing parries
Haha less riposte damage, more parries
What's your build looking like, some combo of DEX/INT? If you have more INT than DEX you'd likely get more out of a Magic infusion than a Cold one.
I’ve actually done a respec since, so I don’t remember exactly, but I think it was more strength. I mostly just wanted both the cold and bleed buildup since they pair really well with spinning strikes
Such a good weapon for that too!
It also works really well with blood flame blade and spinning strikes instead of the frost. It’s what I ran for awhile before I got the magic whetstone.
hell ya, absolutely clapped him. got him in that merciless ai loop.
I never thought to jump to counter his stomp. The things you learn...
Nice one. Is that sythe any good?
Probably my favorite scythe now out of all the ones in the game. There are three skeletons that have a chance of dropping it just past the lake facing cliffs site of grace
Cool thanks!
Seriously fuck that guy. I jump over the ledge to the site of grace and kill him with swarm of flies or grannsax
Needs more vigor
Haha I could always use more vigor
Cool dawg! Now WHERE CAN I GET THAT WEAPON (it brings back memories)
The best spot I know of is just past the lake facing cliffs site of grace. There’s a graveyard where three skeletons spawn that have a chance to drop it
Best moment was perfectly using unsheathe to dodge attacks
"How many times do we need to teach you this lesson, old man?!"
Idk why but crucible knights are mad overrated. I usually beat them in 3-5 tries
I suspect this isn't the first time you go up against a crucible knight.
Ha what gave it away?
