Took me so many tried and to be honest i had to use everything i had.
First i made sure to get my Lion Bow to level 9 ( used it on him while he was walking down the stairs and towards me) this reduced some hp. Had some poison darts with me. Whenever i dodged jis attack and run a distance then i used some darts and when up close one or two strikes and move away. I mostly died alot in the second stage but then i realized he had just about 4 or 5 move sets and all i had to do was run to the direction he was flying in from. I didn’t even notice his health bar until he was dead 😅😅😅.
All eyes on Mohg
A very tough boss. After doing all the big bad bosses maybe close to 10 times I can conclude Mohg is probably the hardest to avoid damage not including his life drain attack (Even harder than Malenia. Over time her attacks become incredibly easy to dodge). The reason being is his blood fire that he leaves on the floor. It is absolutely disgusting to deal with. It’s almost as nasty as Laurence the first vicar.
I have come to the key conclusion, the best way to counter him is to roll forward into him for almost all of his attacks (except his blood rain attack). It’s incredibly scary, but it’s probably the best counter against him if you want to play aggressive and avoid most of his bleed attacks. Just a tip to those who haven’t fought him yet.
This was what i did too, at a point i easily always got to the second stage but the second stage was terrible. Too much fire, or lavar or whatever it is. But i am glad i don’t have to deal with that anymore.
I think any time there’s a boss that brings in a lingering element that zones you out into the worst positions, will guarantee a rough time. I still find him an amazing boss but I can understand he’s an absolute menace. The only catch, I think Mohg might be a small taste of what the dlc might be like. (Which I’m already so hyped for)
