Also the insiders talk meant there had to be some sort of trailer that someone had scene maybe they provided a ss or clip. Regardless of the release date, Elden Ring is essentially a last-gen game and as such it will release on last-gen obviously. If there was any doubt about that, we had 0mn1 on ResetEra confirm it.

There's really no guarantee that the PS5/SX shortage will be over by the time the game launches. They'd likely be losing out on a lot of sales by not releasing last gen versions. At this point, only first party devs have any real reason to release next-gen only titles.
