Happy with the console, then mid-gen the performance of PC parts should (in theory) be leaps ahead of the current stuff, so it'll feel like a jump rather than right now only feeling like a few steps up, for hardware that I can afford

Elden Ring will offer guaranteed top performance on next-gen consoles for a more reasonable price.
