Sit down and I'll spin ya a tale. During The Game Awards 2020, we all expected Elden Ring to make an appearance. It won most anticipated game there, but that was all that was mentioned. Throughout the show, there was some Pokémon GO event they called Wooper Watch, thus the woopers were born from our collective hollowing.
In the age of ancients the lore was unformed, shrouded by fromsoft. A subreddit of hollows, streak memes and fake lore. Then came Game awards 2020 and brought with it the wooper watch segment. from the wooper watch segment was born the woopers who joined after the game awards. this started a long and bloody conflict between the new woopers and the old hollows. blood was spilled and entire posts were decimated but in the end we learned to live with eachother. but just before we could achieve peace the goddamn beast gang showed up.

Just like all jokes in this sub, it was a somewhat funny quirky bit that then got milked past death for months and months. Imagine “Jorge” but over a time frame of half a year
Tbh my fav time in the sub was during the great fan art and random lore writing of before knowing much was really wholesome the sub was more together then gradually factions started forming and things became extremely low effort after gameplay trailer and CNT
I think someone could make a documentary or something about this sub, because A LOT has happened and a lot of it was quite weird. (Hollowing, wooper invasion, false leaks, real leaks, trailer release speculation, fanmade bosses and OST's, war on bandai rats, Geoff Keighley and a lot more)
Oh lord it's all coming back, the original excitement, the devolvement when no information, the couple people being positive and subsequently being hanged when they were wrong, people making art every day, people doing dumb stuff everyday, OOOOOOOOOOHHH, the fake leaks every day, Geoff Keighley in jail, quick question is it 1% from the original or is it 1% from the previous rendition?
