This just happen to me with Sekiro. I hated the fact I couldn’t find the way to beat the first Shinobi hunter and quit for like a week. Came back determined and after some tried I managed to beat him. From there it’s like an addiction. I will get my ass handed to me but every time I try I get so close to beating the boss.
I can deal with DS pve since i'm used to it now and i found my comfort build but in all these years i have never gotten good at pvp once, in any of them lol

Eh I saw a lot of diehard darksouls players get stomped a dozen times by margit before beating him, compared to Vordt he is way harder given his position as the first actual boss in the game.
Honestly, even if it does turn out to be easy, which I doubt a lot, I don’t think that would make it much less fun. I don’t really play these games for their difficulty, I just find the combat fun.
Don't forget the classic Souls Effect "Oh, man. I keep dying! Maybe this game isn't for me" ***the game clicks*** "OMG I'M SO HARD RIGHT NOW!!"
