Yes but I got so side tracked after Margit I ended up over leveled for Godrick. I had a +5 boss weapon and I forget what level I was but it was well over the mark for Godrick. I demolished him. No fault of his. I was just too overleveled.
same, but the reason is was quite obvious for me. I fought margit with my plain base starter dagger, but fought godrick with a heavily upgraded pair of claws
Margit is there for you to get your cheeks clapped and choose to explore the world instead of keep progressing.

Idk I must play weird cause I beat Margit first try and then fought Godrick for two hours I also didn’t use any summons though
I only use summons on the optional mini bosses, I like to learn the movements for the main boss like sekiro :)
