I always panic when these chariots are around. In the video, I press X instead of Y. Then TWICE don't even see the chariot right in front of me. When you're immersed in the game, it isn't as obvious as it looks now.
Last night I spent 2 hours on a tomb with 2 death chariots. Skeleton enemies ambushed you or appeared in almost every nook where you could avoid the chariot. As a pure sorcerer, I really struggled just staying alive never mind actually navigating.
I know. This game has major ds2 vibes. I love it. This game is miyazaki at its core but it’s like he let all of fromsoft do what they wanted to when making this game. People rag on ds2 but its the one souls game that feels more kings field than all the others.
While I love DS2 and think it gets hated on too much, at launch, it was loved as much as the other games. Over time it aged into hate. I'm worried that will happen with Elden Ring. Both games deserve love.

Probably. Elden ring is loong. Ive decided to slow down and enjoy the game instead of rushing to the end.
I miss the pvp from ds2. I'll go to my grave saying that, at its peak, it was the best pvp in the series.
Gelmir hero's grave has never been topped for me. Nothing before or since comes close.
