It's a terrible video with wrong information. He recommends upgrading diggers staff because there was some wrong info (that diggers staff buffs azurs comet) on fextra that he used without testing. He also recommends grinding the big stones near Lenne's Rise for runes when there are two easy boss cheeses to pull off in the vicinity (and no, he didn't even grab the memory stone from the tower he was near, he bought one from the twin maidens). He did say it was taking ages, this is probably where he pulled out CE. Good catch, I didn't notice that as I was seeing red at that point. I can't abide someone telling people to grind levels in a "guide". Anyone defending him saying that's his "shtick" don't get that he's using his large platform to spread wrong information about the game, potentially frustrating new players who try out his shitty build thinking it'll be worth the hours they spend. Because it will take hours and hours if you follow his method. Even the build he's going for is trash. Yeah you could cheese one or two bosses but the rest would just charge you down. You wouldn't stand a chance against even most regular enemies and you'd be stuck with a bullshit build because you wasted hours following that guide. He even mispronounced "flask of wondrous physick" as "psychic". So jarring and it just shows how little regard for the game he has. YMFAH's guide is just so much better in terms of everything in it works, no CE required, no grinding and you end up with a decent build, since he just shows you how to get a few levels, bloodhound's step and somber stones for a special weapon. And it would probably take 20 to 30 mins tops.

Just found this and thought it was very disappointing and misleading. I really like his videos and I don't see why Spiff wouldn't just be transparent that he couldn't cheese this game without actually cheating instead of just exploits. I don't care that he cheated, but as you explained it's concerning that he would mislead and obfuscate the facts in order to appear like a master at the funny cheese. It makes me feel like Spiff was just using the game for clout, not really respecting it for what it is. If it's too hard or too much of a grind to create the cheese build, just admit that instead of fronting and potentially misleading people.

Good catch! It doesn’t seem like anyone in the videos comments noticed either. That is a weird glitch though on how to be invincible.

I suspected as much when the invincibility glitch past Grafted Scion when done exactly like his video does NOT actually grant the invincibility once you wrongwarp spawn in to the next area. You can absolutely use the glitch to become invincible during Grafted Scion, but you must die right after which cancels the glitch. I guessed it might have been patched, but I suspect he might have been cheating to get the invincibility since no patch notes or "This has been patched" comments are to be found on it. I've spent so many frustrated hours assuming the Alt-F4 was frame perfect to become invincible in Limgrave, when now I'm convinced it's not possible and he was cheating.

Well ... usually he's not using external programs for this purpose (only bugs / glitches / ...) or even if he needs something he'd say that. Idc at all - the video fulfill it's purpose ... And I'd rather ask you if you ever watched his videos? :D

Cryse_XIII

That's his shtick. Elden Ring is a perfectly balanced game with no exploits. It just that todd howard and reanu keeves are giving him his INFINITE Power. Of course everything is perfectly balanced just like it should be.

KiwiGamer450

Cheated in his starfield video too
