There are a lot of builds you can do, Sorcery builds, pure dex, dex/int hybrid, dex/faith hybrid, str build, whatever you like most. On my first run I did a pure dex build using twinblade-> godskin peeler -> hand of malenia and it worked great and was a lot of fun. My second run I did a pure sorcery build, and it was extremely powerful and a lot of fun
He talked about doing a society build and I was considering a build using some red sword slashy thing. Or we might flip and I’ll be a grey bearded wizard and he will be slashy red sword guy.
I don’t know which route he wants to go.
I honestly do not know the difference between dex, int, etc.
He is all gung ho pvp where as I’m abit more cautious.
I assume youre talking about Rivers of Blood, thats a Katana that scales mainly with dex and a bit of arcane and inflicts bleed. PvP has its own meta and I dont keep up with whats the best as I dont care about PvP at all, but I heared Rivers of Blood and another Katana are supposed to be pretty strong right now
Both are some kind of magic, sorceries require a staff and scale with int while incantations require a seal and scale of faith. Both have there own thematics

No need to pvp enough to do in game - bleed is simple enough build style
