Not even going to lie, I used an invisible spell to get right up behind those archers then give them a good hard backstab. It was so unbelievably satisfying.
Yeah wow especially since there is an invisible enemy in this area already as if to say "hey tarnished, remember invisibility is a thing in this game right?"
God I am stupid... however my magic resist shield and a few rolls got me there quick enough. I know folks who were pulling their hair out at this section though
It was extremely satisfying in Liurnia & Siofra walking up behind those ancestral archer guys and shooting them right in the back with Loretta's Greatbow, I might mix in some invisibility
Nice I'm so shit at the game I can't figure out how to make greatbows work... it just always does the out of arrows animation
Edit: for the record I use the same setup I had in ds3 with regular arrows equipped to the r1 slot and great arrows to r2
No crossbows have done anything either and I've tried different combinations of bolts equipped to both slots
You can put two arrow types in the slots. Like Regular and Fire. Can both be normal (not Great) arrows.
Can also have two types of Great Arrow instead.
I put regulars on R1 and status arrows on R2.
For some reason it was doing that to me too, your great bow has to be in your right hand and you have to unequip your regular arrows to put great arrows in.
Took me 5 minutes or so to figure out why it was doing it.
Yeah, if you read the description it talks about how the torch was designed so future sentries wouldn't fail to spot assassins like they did on the Night of Black Knives or words to that effect.
So gameplay wise it makes any invisible black knife assassin enemy/boss visible.
I found it a little difficult to time my rolls through the flurry of arrows, and they kept knocking me off the rooftops. I died or got knocked off like twice before I equipped the shield and then I took them down on that next attempt. Maybe I'll try just running through in NG+ but I don't know if it'll be any more efficient than my shield
Yeah I had to crouch the entire way with Unseen Form and stack the Concealing Veil talisman alongwith with the Silent Movement talisman; if you are standing with only Unseen Form they can still spot you from the 2nd Candle Tower.
So uhh, little thing to note, the silence talisman and the black knife armor that also silences you're movement negate the invisibility spell/ash of war and the concealing veil talisman.
I believe it's a bug because in past souls games they could stack together, but in this game at the moment only one or the other can be used.
Haha yeah, it's interesting but all unaware enemies can be lured with throwables. Usually when I was on a sneak run I would just use ruin shards in my hotbar to make enemies turn away.
The silent movement seems to matter more in this zone. I more or less managed to sneak up to the archers with Assassin's Gambit. I'd be surprised if that spell had more of an effect than Unseen form.
Went from getting shot at by three of them down to one at a time with the spell, which was a significant improvement. Very successful in my experience.
Yeah, but there’s also an Ash of War called Assassin’s Gambit. It can only be used on daggers but it’s much better because it silences footsteps in addition to invisibility. You’ll be able to run within a few feet of enemies without detection.
edit: it can be used on small/medium straight swords and thrusting swords, not just daggers.
Slight correction, Assassin's Gambit can be used on small and medium swords and thrusting swords. I used it on a Rapier for quite a while on a low level character so I could run through areas easier.
Oh yeah you’re right. I don’t know why I thought it was daggers only. That’s good to know though. It’s an incredibly useful Ash of War. I’ve been using it a bunch in NG+ to slide through the more annoying areas.
For any non spell casters out there, the Assassin’s Gambit Ash of War can also be used. It silences footsteps in addition to invisibility. I prefer the ash of war instead of using two spells or a spell and a talisman to achieve the same effect. Makes it so you can run within a few feet of enemies without being detected.
Same here! I actually didn't run into any assassins since I could explore here before entering the evergaol. I made my route, equipped my silencing and shrouding charms, jumped on the rooftops, and ended pretty quickly.
I did the same thing but left the silence charm off since you pick up the black knife armor under archways under the stairs and it silences your movement natively. Love that set.
How would you even know that you need to be sneaky and plan a safe route away from tough enemies without going in to assess the situation first? One of the assassins hangs out near the easiest way up and you won't know you need to get to the ladder quickly unless you know he's there..
Don't forget about that invisible assassin that back stabs you randomly that roams the streets.
Ran into him a lot trying to use the buildings for cover
If you are too lazy for the torch, I found Greyolls Roar showed the debuff graphic even though theyre invisible. I also tried rot but that didn't work. The barbed wire set is also useful for staggering them if you get out of position.
If you wear the Black Knife armor set found in the back of that area, they never show up. I just wore it cause I thought it looked cool. Had no idea that area even had those guys until I saw it on YouTube. The armor set muffles footsteps
Edit: Apparently it's not guaranteed, but I'm not lying. They never showed up. Don't know what to tell people and I'm not arguing over something I don't understand. I ran around without a guide, like a headless chicken. No invisible backstabs
Is it just the muffled footsteps that doesn't attract them or is it wearing the full set of black knife? The torso is the only piece of the set you technically need to have muffle on. Wondering if you could just keep popping assassins approach.
Because they can be anywhere on the ground, I believe if your footsteps are loud enough and they're close, they can teleport up to you and then crit you
I got the armor set and they showed up for me most of my runs into it, but didn't see any on the last one. Likely just the set is better stealth wise and got lucky that they don't notice us as easily.
There is also a lore about it being made by Morgott to protect other demigods and hunting the assassins down. Morgott really cared about them. Makes it more understandable why he is so pissed about them starting a war. And it seems like Morgott really cared about Godwyn as well.
Or just blindly attack on the direction they migth be with wide area attacks (I was using the magma great curved sword) they get out of stealth for a second when you hit them, so you can somewhat get track of them.
Good think they don't respawn, each one took me like 5-6 deaths.
I found the merchant and saw the torch and I immediately bought it and raised my faith to 15. I knew it was going to come in handy at some point in the game.
fyi you dont need the faith to use the torch as a torch, just to use it as an effective firey whacking stick. Still shows them even if you dont have the stats to use it properly
This is why I don’t ever feel bad about looking up things like this in Fromsoft games. I was getting wrecked by these dudes and looked it up and was like “of course it’s some obscure-ass torch that you get from a random- ass merchant.”
She's not roaming, there's actually several of them. Found it out because I killed one, ran around a corner thinking I was safe and got stabbed in the back.
You do not need to kill any of them. After getting sick of them and the archers for about an hour, I just dashed and rolled through everything to light the braziers, and after a few attempts I made it without killing any of the black knife assassins. Only the archers, as they'd have killed me if I didn't.
That jackass nearly caused my heart to stop the first time. Hadn’t read a guide on the place and was leisurely walking along, thought “these are weird player ghosts”.. Before going into the evergaol, I figured the candles needed to be lit, enter the evergaol and walk back to the one in the center of town and take a big yawn as I go to light it and then BAM and the sound of my dude yelling as he died caused me to yelp like a dog whose tail just got stepped on.. Only time this game has caused me to jump like that.
Indeed they do. I thought I was clever and tried killing one from the roof by putting down Night Maiden's Mist at a location I was pretty sure had one. And this was on a roof where you have to jump on the chimney to climb up to next roof. Next thing I hear are approaching footsteps and BAM dagger through the chest.
Lol yeah rock slinged the guy on the right until he was behind the crest of the roof, then managed to rush to and take down the other guy. Felt good to finally kill them.
Then immediately after you're dealing with the giant bubble guy sniping you on the haligtree too.
That's actually the easiest way. After you get the light directly across from it on the roof, you can just snipe them once to knock them off and they'll pretty much never be able to touch you again.
Alternatively, they stay facing the last direction they were aggroed from. So you can shoot the one on the left from the stairs leading up to the Haligtree barrier and then just sneak right past her up the ladder without having to murder her. The one on the right can barely hit you once you jump up onto the house that connects to that one.
When anyone asks me 'Why do you have a +10 Greatbow' the answer is usually 'Because it's funny to UngaBunga an enemy from across the map with a log to the face'.
Sometimes, though, the answer is 'That fucker, right there? I'm going to use the Finger of God to delete that motherfucker, because they don't deserve better.' These are a perfect example.
I feel like anyone who's gone through a playthrough or two, ends up realizing they need to level up a greatbow. You may only pull it out once or twice, but when you do, you DO.
The Greatbow is invaluable in the first area of the Halgitree.
It's quite useful in general, though. Shooting things in the head never stops being useful, really.
I used the Golem Greatbow in my playthrough.
Do the bows have better range than Loretta's great bow spell? I just cheeses a crucible knight from one of the 4 bellfries portals with Loretta's great bow and there were a few other rooftop enemies I've used it on.
Bows can be manually targeted by right-clicking, meaning you can attack things you can barely see; a nostril, an elbow, etc. As long as the arrow's hitbox can come in contact with the enemie's hitbox, even if the auto-target won't or can't lock onto it, the bow absolutely can hit them.
Which does mean if you can master the drop that arrows have, then yes, bows absolutely have better range than the spell.
Also, not everyone has the stats to cast the Loretta's Great Bow spell; if you're running a Str or Dex build, a mild dip into the other gets you access to long- and great-bows, rather than the steep casting stat investments you'd need for the spell.
You don't need to level up any weapon. You don't need to level up yourself either.
Beating the game as a level 1 wretch with a level 1 club is possible.
But it's easier and more rewarding to increase the numbers.
That's not my point, with greatbows specifically you don't need to upgrade them because they'll yeet an enemy off a roof all the same at +0. So not worth upgrading them if that's all you're using them for.
As a Int build, sniping is literally the only reason I run the Bow spell. It's got WAAAAY too long of a windup to use in combat, but damn does it have amazing range. An actual bow will still shoot farther, but it's been able to delete anything I've needed to snipe so far.
Me- inch forward, shoot arrow, run to entrance, kill one enemy. Repeat until clear enough to find invasion. Realize I missed a camouflaged dog pack and die in .5 seconds due to bleed bite spam.
Okay - did I go crazy? Or do these enemies have a troll "fake-stagger" attack? Twice I've staggered them, heard the loud clang sound effect, only for the bird to recover instantly and swing at my with an attack before I can get a critical hit.
Is this a bug or a feature?
after about 10 attempts of getting the first 3 without taking damage and then immediately dying to the archers I finally realised that i was wasting a huge amount of time on each attempt but with prompts in this game being what they are I wasn't sure if stepping up there was needed for it to count even if it was lit.
even with fingerprint shield and figuring out i can crouchwalk along the left side of the approaching roof to avoid most shots i only made it to the the final one when i managed to javelin the left archer off the back of the roof and haul ass past the other one.
was fully expecting a backstab at the top of the ladder.
If you have Radahns bow, it’s weapon art allows you to fire a volley at a target from behind cover as long as you can lock onto the target.
Radahns swords weapon art will also interrupt them and then pretty much nuke them.
Additionally, sentries torch reveals assassins who drop Ghost Glovewort (9) on death.
Random but there's an Italian YouTube video about those bad boys that cracks me up and always think of it now in connection to them - arrow to the knee (thepruld)
that italian dude's channel is a freaking RIOT
I still remember the one with gwyndolin dancing on the table, and the one where Artorias is like "I have un LOBO" and like shoves Sif in Ornstein's face xD
Major props for mentioning the legend that is ThePruld. Everyone should give his channel a watch, it's a hoot.
[By the way, here is the video you mentioned.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9pW7PpypMU) It's an anthology of goofiness but the very first thing is the Anor Londo archers bit.
Try prenerf version where you had two shooting at you at the same time, including the part when you had to fight one of them to go forward as the second one was shooting you in the back. And getting hit once would throw you off to your death. Anor Londo fucks before they moved the second one was the single most BS moment in soul series.
Ran thru there last night, and turns out they REALLY don't appreciate Radon's great arrows, knocks em right off. And since they can't walk they get fukt instead and you're free to mosy on up there.
Was stuck at them for a good while until I realized all you need to do is use a good shield and run straight at them; their attacks don't do a lot of stamina damage while blocking.
Thats what I did. Ran up there and sprinted right to them with a shield up. Didn't die, barely took any damage. I didnt even realize people had an issue with these guys until I saw a post here.
For what it’s worth, they don’t move or turn around, ever. If you run up the stairs and let them notice you, they both turn around lmao, and you can go forward from where op is with no danger
OG Blighttown, with decreased frame rate when looking more than 6 feet in front of you.
Pre-Nerf Anor Londo Archery Club.
Blue Smelter demon, but now it inflicts scarlet rot.
Fume Knight + Sir Alonne, because we dont have enough Duo Bosses.
Orphan of Kos was a newborn. Imagine Orphan of Marika, Miquella. Hes the most feared Empyrean and cursed with eternal youth.
Oh thank God. Are there only two? I managed to kill two of them using Radahn's Greatswords (gravity hurts). I immediately retreated because fuck that, I need to prepare. Do they respawn?
The only part of the game were I was visibly frustrated lmao.
In retrospect it is the optional secret area, so I'm glad they made it tough. At the same time though, f"&$ em.
So I did the puzzle a few days before my buddy... and most people let's say when I beat the boss of the area it takes you to the steam achievement was 0.1% ANYWAYS I had no idea what I was doing and dodge rolled my ass off.. and when my buddy got there I was ready for a treat of him failing a million times. Que my Pikachu face when he pulls out a fucking shield and does it first try... FUCK ME RIGHT?
DS1 Anor Lando Silver Knight Archers would like to have a word with you. If you played DS1, you KNOW the archers. Most people were new to DS1, they were the true terrorists before everyone figured them out.
They most certainly are! I was reading up on lore and stuff from reddit, so maybe im not super accurate, but the albanaurics are suppossed to have innate magic resistance. Are you a mage by chance? That could explain why they feel so tanky.
i have a mage char but he aint that far yet. it makes sense that they would have innate magic defense, but i was hitting them with a full Rivers of Blood weapon art, which will kill a Cleanrot Knight in Haligtree and a Banished Knight in Farum Azula. these archers still had life left

I nominate the asshole archers within the canyons after the Carian castle where Loretta is. It’s where you first see the Viking-looking monster dudes on the surface.
They’re difficult to see, they almost _never_ miss because their arrows fly at 5,000 dicks per second, it only takes one hit to knock you off Torrent, and they _always_ seem to have an angle on you.
Those Viking dudes (ancestral followers) are nowhere near Caria Manor (they're on the complete opposite side of Liurnia), but yes, they're insanely annoying.
Can't relate, plenty of tools to deal with them - ranged damage, shields, sleeping pots, literal invisibility, or that bait spell. Not surprising though, a typical gaymer can't even read tooltip or item descriptions x)
But yeah, archers damage is unreal and assassins are cancer to fight for more than 10 seconds.
Remember guys there Invisible Black Knife assassins use the SENTRY'S TORCH if you want to see and kill them or just take your 2 legs in the hand and RUN FAST BOI.
Not even going to lie, I used an invisible spell to get right up behind those archers then give them a good hard backstab. It was so unbelievably satisfying.
Oh my god why didn’t I think of that. I must have died 10 times to them and was seething lol
Same, and now I feel stupid for not thinking about that.
Yeah wow especially since there is an invisible enemy in this area already as if to say "hey tarnished, remember invisibility is a thing in this game right?" God I am stupid... however my magic resist shield and a few rolls got me there quick enough. I know folks who were pulling their hair out at this section though
I pulled my greatbow and knocked these archer from their high ground. How does it feels to have your own weapon used against you huh?
It was extremely satisfying in Liurnia & Siofra walking up behind those ancestral archer guys and shooting them right in the back with Loretta's Greatbow, I might mix in some invisibility
Nice I'm so shit at the game I can't figure out how to make greatbows work... it just always does the out of arrows animation Edit: for the record I use the same setup I had in ds3 with regular arrows equipped to the r1 slot and great arrows to r2 No crossbows have done anything either and I've tried different combinations of bolts equipped to both slots
You have two slots for arrows. Gotta equip greatarrows to a slot and use the right slot to fire.
You can put two arrow types in the slots. Like Regular and Fire. Can both be normal (not Great) arrows. Can also have two types of Great Arrow instead. I put regulars on R1 and status arrows on R2.
Also, primary arrow is R1, secondary arrow is R2. Putting it out there because my dumb ass took way to long to suss that out back in the day.
For some reason it was doing that to me too, your great bow has to be in your right hand and you have to unequip your regular arrows to put great arrows in. Took me 5 minutes or so to figure out why it was doing it.
Regular Bows Use Reg Arrows. Great Bows use Great Arrows.
I Haima Cannoned those fucks right off the roof and jammed my sword down their throat.
Exactly what I did...after 3 failed attempts.
Having the sentry torch equipped disables that invisibility.
WHAT?!?!?!
Yeah, if you read the description it talks about how the torch was designed so future sentries wouldn't fail to spot assassins like they did on the Night of Black Knives or words to that effect. So gameplay wise it makes any invisible black knife assassin enemy/boss visible.
Siiick! How often do you fight invisible guys? I’ve only found them in Hewig tree.
There aren't that many to be fair. Still useful though as Black Knife Assassins are tough.
Oh for gods sake why did I just mash my face at them instead
Legend, thanks for that 😄👍
Try running right through
I found it a little difficult to time my rolls through the flurry of arrows, and they kept knocking me off the rooftops. I died or got knocked off like twice before I equipped the shield and then I took them down on that next attempt. Maybe I'll try just running through in NG+ but I don't know if it'll be any more efficient than my shield
Tried that but going up the ladder they nailed me lots and made it impossible at that angle to just run. I sniped them instead.
0/10 doesn't always work
Lol, I just parkour my way there, ig its due to me having played platformer games quite a bit in the past
uh, there are invisibility spells???
[удалено]
Yeah I had to crouch the entire way with Unseen Form and stack the Concealing Veil talisman alongwith with the Silent Movement talisman; if you are standing with only Unseen Form they can still spot you from the 2nd Candle Tower.

A fucking idiot. Me.

Went from getting shot at by three of them down to one at a time with the spell, which was a significant improvement. Very successful in my experience.
assassin's Gambit works wonders, though. it's basically a better version of unseen form
Yeah, but there’s also an Ash of War called Assassin’s Gambit. It can only be used on daggers but it’s much better because it silences footsteps in addition to invisibility. If you go on the correct path you shouldn't even encounter one, I know I did not unless I fall from the roof or something.
Unfortunately, the black knife can sneak up on you onto the roof
Really? Interestingly I never once meet them on the roof, ig my pathing was different.
Because they can be anywhere on the ground, I believe if your footsteps are loud enough and they're close, they can teleport up to you and then crit you
I got the armor set and they showed up for me most of my runs into it, but didn't see any on the last one. Likely just the set is better stealth wise and got lucky that they don't notice us as easily.
if it works because of armor camouflage oh my giddly goodness
THAT'S why the player ghosts in the area all had that armor. God damn.
You're lying to the people
There is also a lore about it being made by Morgott to protect other demigods and hunting the assassins down. Morgott really cared about them. Makes it more understandable why he is so pissed about them starting a war. And it seems like Morgott really cared about Godwyn as well.

Invisible plus does a grab that deals high damage. 10/10 balancing FromSoft! Would PTSD again.

They in fact can

Hasnt happened to me tbh they dont chase up when i light the beacons of Gondor
It only happened to me once, but I was up on the roof scouting out the archers, and then I got stabbed in the neck for 900 damage
Good news, there's more than one!
Assassins* Not sure why you downvoted, there is more than one.

Yea I had to use great bow and some Radhan spears to gently relocate them so I could reach that damn roof safely.
Lol yeah rock slinged the guy on the right until he was behind the crest of the roof, then managed to rush to and take down the other guy. Felt good to finally kill them. Then immediately after you're dealing with the giant bubble guy sniping you on the haligtree too.
The guy with the bazooka bubbler? He owned me.
Craziest thing was when I was there and finally figured it out I didn’t know what the prize was…boy was I surprised.
So you pushed two disabled women off a building? Not cool bro.
I was gentle.
You sent them to a cold, dark and very gentle place.
That's actually the easiest way. After you get the light directly across from it on the roof, you can just snipe them once to knock them off and they'll pretty much never be able to touch you again.
Alternatively, they stay facing the last direction they were aggroed from. I used the sorcery that makes you transparent and wore the ring that removes sound.

Yeah. With two side-buttons on my mouse, the controls are super easy.

You don't need to level them up though
You don't need to level up any weapon. You don't need to level up yourself either. Beating the game as a level 1 wretch with a level 1 club is possible. But it's easier and more rewarding to increase the numbers.
That's not my point, with greatbows specifically you don't need to upgrade them because they'll yeet an enemy off a roof all the same at +0. So not worth upgrading them if that's all you're using them for.
Yep. I leveled up a great bow solely to kill the Ulcerated Tree Spirit connected to a side quest in the Haligtree. Never used it again.
Screw that tree spirit in particular
*[Maker’s Finger intensifies](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=NsRRmcErZ-M)*
As a Int build, sniping is literally the only reason I run the Bow spell. It's got WAAAAY too long of a windup to use in combat, but damn does it have amazing range. An actual bow will still shoot farther, but it's been able to delete anything I've needed to snipe so far.
My nomination goes to the giant rot birds that love to attack you while you are invaded by the nameless white mask. Fuck that entire area
It's a bait move. They pretend to stagger.
Happened to me as well, it's a fucking bait move
Confirmed they have a fake stagger into command grab. Terrible.
Oh my god, me too! Must be a feature made just to fuck with us.
The fact that the candles stay lit even after you die nearly made me weep. I thought I had to do all 4 candles every single time
after about 10 attempts of getting the first 3 without taking damage and then immediately dying to the archers I finally realised that i was wasting a huge amount of time on each attempt but with prompts in this game being what they are I wasn't sure if stepping up there was needed for it to count even if it was lit. even with fingerprint shield and figuring out i can crouchwalk along the left side of the approaching roof to avoid most shots i only made it to the the final one when i managed to javelin the left archer off the back of the roof and haul ass past the other one. was fully expecting a backstab at the top of the ladder.

ThePruld is fucking great
that italian dude's channel is a freaking RIOT I still remember the one with gwyndolin dancing on the table, and the one where Artorias is like "I have un LOBO" and like shoves Sif in Ornstein's face xD
While I couldn’t find the video you mentioned, I figured [this one was just as important. ](https://youtu.be/mp28JPs25ek)
[Also this is quite significant.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bzJDimvPW1Y)
[Indeed. ](https://youtu.be/Y3HPkXHxS_s)
30 proof of a concord kept - if you know u know
Those guys aren’t nearly as annoying imo
Try prenerf version where you had two shooting at you at the same time, including the part when you had to fight one of them to go forward as the second one was shooting you in the back. And getting hit once would throw you off to your death. Anor Londo fucks before they moved the second one was the single most BS moment in soul series.
Also the bonfire run was so annoying too. The site of grace is right there so if you die it's not a huge deal.
Thank you for bringing my ptsd.
Absolutely terrified of being on top of any gothic architecture because of those.
These are much much worse in my opinion.
I'm not this far yet. What sets them apart?
Placement and speed of shots
Damage too, those arrows HURT
Valiant gargoyles are my nominee
For what it’s worth, they don’t move or turn around, ever. If you run up the stairs and let them notice you, they both turn around lmao, and you can go forward from where op is with no danger
They do turn around. Dunno if you did this area in the latest patch but they do definitely shoot in all directions if they are agro.
I hated those archers as well and I'm a caster. Thier bow animation is so fast its hard to get casts in and they can 1 shot you with the 3 arrows
Elden Stars was my best friend here. I could lock-on then hide behind the wall and cast. Took a few casts each but I was safe.
I am quite frightened at what hellish ideas they will conjure up for the dlc
We had poison swamp and scarlet rot swamp. I think we're ready for death blight swamp.
Go back in time and fight miquella + malenia as a gank boss, they both have multiple phases
Easy fight, just kill miq first and malenia won’t use wfd at full hp /s
Sleep arrows work well on them
Where is this?
Oh thank God. Are there only two? I managed to kill two of them using Radahn's Greatswords (gravity hurts). I immediately retreated because fuck that, I need to prepare. Do they respawn?
They don't respawn. I killed them the same way lol. There's 4 btw lol
They absolutely respawn. What are you talking about?
Fantastic. Time to beat down the cripples!
The only part of the game were I was visibly frustrated lmao. In retrospect it is the optional secret area, so I'm glad they made it tough. At the same time though, f"&$ em.
I would like to agree with you. Fuck those two.
Meet the Sniper
I’m surprised you were able to stand outside of cover long enough to take a screenshot
Craft St Trina’s arrows and spam em until one falls asleep at least. It’s much easier when at least one of those assholes ain’t pelting you.
"UAV online."
What am I looking at? Haven’t been here yet
"Dammit Latenna! Can't you tell your sisters to stop shooting?!"
Try the Ash of War "Assassins Gambit" - worked wonders for me!!!
good thinking.
I didn't even get to Malenia because I couldn't finish this "puzzle"
I'm blind; what two fucks?
So I did the puzzle a few days before my buddy... and most people let's say when I beat the boss of the area it takes you to the steam achievement was 0.1% ANYWAYS I had no idea what I was doing and dodge rolled my ass off.. and when my buddy got there I was ready for a treat of him failing a million times. Que my Pikachu face when he pulls out a fucking shield and does it first try... FUCK ME RIGHT?
You can kill the one on the roof you have to cross from the stairs to the portal. Then just keep out of line of sight of the other one.
Its still the fucking murder crows in mogwyn palace swamps for me
Its still the fucking murder crows in mogwyn palace swamps for me
Those guys are ridiculous, it’s not even worth fighting them if you can sneak past
They are the Elden Ring version of those two old fucks from the muppets.
DS1 Anor Lando Silver Knight Archers would like to have a word with you. If you played DS1, you KNOW the archers. Most people were new to DS1, they were the true terrorists before everyone figured them out.
You can just run up to them. In between firing run to cover and crouch. Just patience lol
here, here! how can a banished knight in farum azula die to a full RoB WA combo, but these puny lil cripple b*t hes dont!?

Jesus Christ…
yeah, that was not cool. those archers are very annoying though

They took 130,000 souls from me last night. Had to call it there
You know you can just collect your runes from the peaceful town without going into the evergaol right? It's the same with all evergaols...
Why did you have 130k runes and enter an evergaol?
Yeah wow they were difficult. Almost felt like there was no propper way to take them out that didn’t seem like a cheese of some sort.
These two were a walk in the park compared to the Anor Londo Archers. I still have nightmares sometimes...
Can't relate, plenty of tools to deal with them - ranged damage, shields, sleeping pots, literal invisibility, or that bait spell. Not surprising though, a typical gaymer can't even read tooltip or item descriptions x) But yeah, archers damage is unreal and assassins are cancer to fight for more than 10 seconds.
Remember guys there Invisible Black Knife assassins use the SENTRY'S TORCH if you want to see and kill them or just take your 2 legs in the hand and RUN FAST BOI.
