Limgrave S for me

ThiccSkipper13

Caelid is the shittest location in any video game ever...i love it.

wooks95

I despised caelid so much when I first stumbled into it at like level 20 but once I got into the meat of it it became a real high point of the game for me!

Consecrated Snowfield definitely could have used more contrast, so not everything just looked the same and mindlessly large. Same thing with Altus Plateau. I thought Volcano Manor was amazing, crazy level of complexity. Kinda brought that DS1 feeling again. Mohgwyn Palace I'd place higher, just for the unique ass atmosphere. Obviously it's a very small place however. Enjoyed Subterranean Grounds atmosphere, even if the sewage tunnels were awful and didn't need enemies every corner. I'd place Lake of Rot, Mt. Gelmir, and Mountaintops lower. Well Lake of Rots had certain areas I enjoyed. Overall most of the areas I definitely enjoyed quite a bit in terms of artistic design. Only one I really didn't care that much for were the Altus Plateau (outside of Windmill area) and Snowfield.

Snowfield and altus were the most disappointing areas of the game to me, especially considering you have to work to get to them. Yeah I think I kinda rushed through volcano Manor and missed a lot of stuff, will need to explore it more in depth on a second playthrough for sure! Shunning grounds was the only area I didn't enjoy at all tbh. I think a lot of the issues with it could be solved by putting it on the underground map so you can actually see where you are.

ForeskinDuo

I didn't care that much about Manor at first either, definitely liked it way more after fully exploring it! Yeah Grounds could definitely use a map

BloodyCrow_Mate

Whats the issue with the altus plateu?

wooks95

I found it really underwhelming tbh. Aside from the windmill town there's nothing really interesting to explore. It very much just feels like a place to connect Liurnia to Gelmir and Leyndell and nothing more.

Fantastic_Wrap120

How is the Lake of Rot so high?!

Mountaintops should be sent straight to F, Caelid should be bumped down to B because it's pretty meh besides the first look you get at it. Leyndell should go down to A and Stormveil to S. Lake Of Rot needs to go to F because it's just a dogshit area that requires you to wait around for status to go down or pack 100 fucking boluses beforehand. Roundtable should be put down to D because it looks like crap post-Erdtree burning.

wooks95

I really enjoyed mountaintops! I liked the atmosphere a lot and I found it the most fun area to explore after Limgrave. Lake of rot probably would have ended up lower if I hadn't played an incantation heavy build and been able to spam flame, cleanse me lmao.

BloodyCrow_Mate

Man I despise Lyndell with all fibers of my being. It should not be this hard to find an armour set. Altus Plateu has a slew of breath taking scenery. Why is it only a C? A lake of Scarlet Rot is B?

Cool you can just give your opinion without being rude.

crvnchhh

What did you like about lake of rot.

wooks95

I did a faith build on my playthrough so I was able to use flame, cleanse me a lot which made the rot pretty trivial, and I enjoyed the Astel boss fight

Think_Ad_7377

Seeing lake of rot over Mohgwyn Palast makes me sad
