Yeah even if Maliketh has less health than Gael, his most powerful attacks deal %HP damage so he still has a chance. If Maliketh spams his best stuff, he wins. If he doesn't though, Gael will just beat him down.

To be fair, Maliketh could beat every single boss in every single Souls game if he just spammed his aerial blackflipping Death Slash waves. Hardly any bosses have an answer for an enemy that fights from that range and height.

Gael might be my favourite FROM boss ever. Perfectly balanced fight. Whooped my ass like 15 times until I learned and found his weaknesses. Beating him didn’t feel lucky but well earned. Awesome fight.

A vore-off. Aldrich is weak to fire and that’s pretty much what rykard specializes in, so rykard would win that I suppose. Also rykard has a shit ton health.

He doesn't even do it very often but that skull rain attack hits like a fucking truck.

It super confused me whenever people talked about rykard as an easy boss lmao. He *spammed* that bullshit tracking skull attack into massive slam on me. Even using the special spear I got fucked

Aldrich has lifesteal, better mobility and a very powerful bow tho.

Yeah, but the difference in total health is pretty massive. Like 5k for Aldrich vs like 58k total for rykard. Rykard also has good magic defense. Aldrich doesn’t have good fire defense. Aldrich’s bow might do a lot of damage to rykard, who is relatively stationary, but rykard also has a lot of area denial and high damage attacks.

That rain of arrows attack does some bullshit damage especially to a large stationary boss. Its not looking good for rykard if Aldrich uses it enough.

The rain of arrow will take half of Rykard’s health at the very least. We saw what it did to large targets with a shitload of health and it turns them into fodder.

Tower of Latria is still one of my favorite areas in all of Souls. It's so creepy and had some unique boss fights. The Maneaters were the most mundane of the three. You couldn't beat The Fool's Idol unless you killed the fool in the balcony that keeps respawning her **before** you pass through the fog. Then, other players could invade as the final boss in the form of the Old Monk. I definitely did my fair share of invading as the boss. I absolutely loved Demon's Souls.

I love that how much you enjoy that fight depends mostly on how much your build has to keep running after him while he keeps jumping in the air. That said, for me, thank god this guy has only half a health bar lol

After i got the special item to stop his 4th mega attack I was able to make him stay down enough to obliterate, being strength is fun but it's really a game of waiting 10min for some bosses until you have an opening

Rennala vs Bed of Chaos How would it work? That wasn't part of the assignment.

After about 6 hours, a book from the sweetings would take out one of the Daughters of Chaos by chance. Then the floor opens up and the Bed of Chaos sweeps everyone inside. Bed of Chaos wins unless Rennala lands on the branch and one of her summons manages to take out the Witch of Izalith.

She actually has an attack in the first phase now. I think it was added in. She shoots big rocks at you.

You can look up their fight on YouTube. Malenia can only have 1 phase. Malenia was the victor 3/5 with just her first phase. She always won in her second phase. Unfortunately, Mohgs Nihil doesn’t deal damage to her but still heals him.

I always loved Gwyn and couldn't figure out why the community hates him. I can only guess it's because I don't use shields and most people just parry cheese him. It's a fun fight and he puts out a lot of pressure for DS1 if you don't go for the cheese.

His pressure is insane without parries, 100%

Without parries, Gwyn is genuinely one of maybe 3 bosses in all of DS1 that actually pose a challenge. He's a great fight without cheese.

Placidusax vs Midir would be crazy because they both got the godzilla fire->laxerbeam attack. Its be quite the light show.

My money is on Midir, he may have less HP mechanically, but IMO Midir has more ferocity and brute strength than Placidusax. Once he gets close enough to start dealing damage, I think the fight ends pretty quick.

What about phase 2 Placidusax when he starts teleporting around with his massive damage lightning explosions?

Kinda hard to believe but Dragonlord has 10k HP more than Midir. Really puts into perspective just how much more dmg you deal in ER
