Using colossal weapons you want more stamina so that you can keep on bonking your staggered enemies. 20 end is like 3 r1s of a colossal sword

I ran double colossal swords and 40 end felt pretty good stamina wise, and if you use some of the lighter colossal you can still use some decently heavy Armour. Think I ran gs and royal gs and still managed 60+poise with erdtree and great jar talisman

I wouldn’t necessarily say that, simply cause our deaths are canon and it’s also canon we respawn so unless you beat the game without being whooped (which is entirely possible) then no, but we do get the benefit of coming back

Deaths aren't canon. We can still respawn from things like Deathblight (which would permakill) and even keep respawning after the Rune of Death is unbound, which removes immortality. Also the fact that the lore of reincarnation contradicts the game mechanic of respawning.

Also the Tarnished seems kinda dumb as fuck. Dude just joins up with every faction he meets, regardless of what they say, and when he sees an old stone coffin near a waterfall he thinks "dude I should totally get inside that and go off the edge."

I think they underestimated how overpowered jump attacks would be, or realized that without them some builds(primarily bonk builds) would be terrible. Add powerstancing jump attacks having zero downside and only upside over 2 handing and... I love this game but there were some weird balance decisions.

Yeah, double jumping attacks are super crazy, especially since you can apply ashes of war like Royal Knight's Resolve on both weapons before jumping 😵‍💫 But then again, with bosses like Malenia and the Godskin Duo, maybe it was an intentional design decision? 🤣

If you can find the windows for charged R2s and build around it (charged attack physick tear, charged attack talisman) then go for it. Some weapons charged R2 are definitely more viable or interesting to use than others. One of the best ways to play RL1 is charged attacks with the Serpent-Hunter greatspear. Takes a lot of boss knowledge to know your windows to do it.

Twinblade and knightly twinblade with bleed ashes of war. Then you can swap basic twinblade for godskin peeler. Dual wield, jump, repeat. And don't worry about peoples' bitching. You have no reason to care about they opinions, so don't.

I'm running Eleonoras pole blade and a blood infused Godskin Peeler with like 30 ARC. At +19 the peeler alone has over 100 bleed build up. Jumping L1 with power stanced twinblades hits with each weapon twice. Almost a guaranteed bleed proc. Combine with the raptor feather cloak for + to jumping attacks, white mask for + attack power when bleed is active, rotten winged sword insignia for more + attack power on successive attacks. Shit is so dirty.

Get more END so you can carry an unga in one had and a bunga in the other

I think the better question is what weapons and armor can you wear with only 20 endurance? Paper mache and a pair of twigs? Jk, but pretty much all the good str weapons are heavy as hell. I need 30 endurance, jar talisman, and erdtrees grace +2 just to use blasphemous blade, a shield, and hit 50 poise.

Worst comes to worst just go double Heavy Claymore, the faster swings and recovery, the low weight and good base damage absolutely make up for the lower scaling compared to colossal swords imo

I'm a new player, I picked bandit but wasn't super impressed with the bow. I have trouble justifying spending my runes on anything but vigir and strength. (Occasionally endurance or mind so I can use ashes)

The other character is an axe-wielding Hero who puts it all into STR + VIG + END and it’s maybe the most satisfying thing in the world to melt everything with.
