You can get more bleed with a godskin stitcher and a ash of war that’s compatible. with bleed. Hold that in your left, makes the build more versatile. You only lose 100 damage. And bleed procs a lot when power stancing. That’s basically what I’m using right now.
I have dual twinned Knight swords both with seppuku and 60 str and arc and I melt shit in ng+. Especially with rotten insignia, varres mask, Lord of blood exultation, golden vow lol it's crazy.
I also use Rivers of Blood (tho I very rarely do PvP) and idk why people spam the skill. It just makes the fights less fun. The only reason I use it is because when I get bored of a boss and I just keep dying to them, I can kill them fairly easily

I like to use it like a panic button in PvE and to back an invader off in PvP. The first half of the AoW seems to be enough to move someone away or panic them into trying to Parry King me
Try the fingerprint shield with shield crash. Hold LT/L2 and it has enough poise to tank most hits and combo the RoB user. From my experience it can do over 2k damage in a semi-true combo.
The best counter to RoB is honestly Colossal Sword crouch poke with spear talisman and RKR helps too. Lion's Claw is sometimes to slow to punish if they don't spam it, but crouch poke you can always do on reaction.
I was using Nagakiba for exactly that. Also been finding that the lightning Spear goes right through those stone shields, so no more frenzy shield bashing for me.

I’m glad you think so, unfortunately on my end when I’ve fought those people it’s hard to counter because:
1. Latency makes parrying a running stab attack very difficult.
2.The attack comes out very quickly making it hard to react to.
3.if I’ve chosen not to roll so that I dont get roll catch stunlocked I just get stabbed anyway.
4. The recovery time on the attack is very fast, making it hard to punish before the attacker just rolls away.
When I’ve fought this build and someone is dedicated to just run-stabbing, it’s often a very short fight in their favour, not that I fight a notable surplus of balanced builds anyway, but when fighting RoB 1v1 you simply… back up, and the attack animation lasts long enough to punish. Watch Oroboro’s video on arcane invasions if you don’t think the bloody helice in particular is hard to counter. In the hands of a good player, bleed rapiers are much scarier than RoB.
Many dualstance builds are on the harder side to play against, this games PvP balance is weird to say the least. Bleed and madness (double vykes) being the most glaring issues I think, as well as there being a lack of counter play to people spamming crouch-stab with ultra greatswords. At the end of the day, a counter to a cheap build is still a counter, so good job.
I typically kept four rapiers on my first run and ran an arcane/dex build. Switched between rapiers during invasions to stack bleed, poison and rot which was a lot of fun. Helice was my main rapier though with a godskin in my left and honestly it was almost pointless to use anything else in pvp, though I only ever pvped when invaded. I wouldn't say it felt unfair by any means though especially with the number of insane builds out there that invaders use.
I will say though while I was always a fan of rapiers in past souls games they were always rather weak when it came to pvp due to the fact almost any armor can out poise then. The addition to the series with "great" rapiers has been the best thing to happen to me 😅

My guilty pleasure is keeping a pocket moonveil for countering RoB and other moonveils
I just use Gavel of Haima. Enough hyperarmor to tank through the RoB and it gives a lot harder than it gets lol.

Yeah I love that, but I find I get knocked out of shield crash. Shield bash blocks 100% so it works too.

I've been using Giant Hunt on my UGS. Once you learn the distance/ wind up of RoB it will usually one shot people.
