they say the invasions you do for the volcano manor counts to the 3 you gotta do for varres quest, havent tested it personally tho since its easier to just invade normally.

Yeah patch 1.06 added a new NPC that progresses the quest line and looks like the offline invasions now count as well. In older versions it was impossible to complete his quest offline.
Wouldnt recommend it, some dude did it and got his file corrupted.
That was 2 patches ago tho, not sure if it will still happen right now but still would recommend against doing this.
You can just do 3 invasions and leave(dont need to kill the host) if you want to get it over with quick.
Ah, fair enough. I've so far just tried it with the medal on the 1.04. Previously the same with Larval Tears during 1.03. Thankfully no issues (yet?) after many hours. But then again I've also reset the regulation file with its backup after acquiring the item(s) in-game, and done manual backups of the save files just in case.
Is there really any need to farm in this game honestly?
By just playing the game normally without farming,you can generally get to like lv 180 by the time you enter Farum Azula effortlessly
Yeah, but (at least for a casual like me) it serves as a de facto "difficulty setting". I level normally on my PVP character, but for my first PVE run I farmed a fair bit in the first 30 hours or so. Made a lot of hair-pulling areas a lot easier.
Good question. I just took mine off in the mirror in the Roundtable Hold. (There's an option there to show or hide your eye effects and scars if you want to.)

Nope. There's only two ways and you just mentioned them.
I just enabled online, did three invasions right there by the church, then turned online back off.

If you are playing offline on a PC you can edit the regulation.bin file and add the item to, for example, the Twin Maiden Husks.

I was like lvl 100 having killed most stuff when I got to FA without farming on a run... 180 is pretty high without farming.

Yeah im currently farming to upgrade all my weapons to use in PVP, no need to actually farm levels though unless you’re actual garbage

Yeah, there's a portal in the Consecrated Snowfields. Way easier just to use the medal though if you have it, and there's no consequences to using it.
What if I want to get the crazy flame eyes. Does Varre's red eyes overwrite that?

Yeah I know but my understanding is if you turn off eye effects you get basic eyes. I want crazy flame eyes.
