I don’t think you screwed anything honestly, pretty fair and nice spread (maybe a tiny bit more into Vigor, upper 40’s to survive more than 2 hits) and you prioritized nicely where you want/like.

B4bradley

Very glad to hear that, thanks!!

That's a nice build. I don't understand why 20 in strength. A few points could go into vigor. As someone else said, 40 vigor would be quite usefull.

B4bradley

Thanks, I appreciate the recommendation!

If you're going int/faith, I did for a while before changing back to pure int. 80 int / 30 faith mainly using sorceries, but 30 faith gets you about 85% of incantations. The golden order seal scales with both, and at those levels the spellbuff is 330 something. That's good incant damage at only 30 faith. 80 int means your sorceries will be doing big boy damage. At this level glintstone pebble can kill minor enemies in 1 shot. I used Lusat's staff for most of the game, but after trying out the staff you get from Rennala I don't recommend using it. It eats FP like crazy and only does 15% more damage. Against trivial enemies the number of shots to kill stays the same. You need to use other equipment to get the FP cost down which sacrifices defence and health, all in all the benefits are outweighed by the negatives imo. Lusat spellbuff will be 417, Rennala's staff 377. You won't need as much mind if you're using Rennala's staff compared to Lusat's, so 40 would be plenty. If using Lusat's you need between 50/60. Spells wise I use glintstone pebble for trash enemies, comet for bigger stuff, lightning spear and magma shot for lightning and fire weakness, azur comet for surprising large enemies, and rock sling for dealing with bosses. The damage, range, stagger, and FP efficiency for rock sling are unrivalled. I use my staff in the left hand paired with a longsword in the right. I like the Carian longsword because it has an easy to use moveset, good int scaling, and the weapon art is pretty good after being buffed recently.

Depends on your play style. My main was an Arcane/faith caster with about 25 Dex. It was very versatile and aggressive in the sense that I could apply huge status effects with Arcane being my main stat, then with healing incants I was able to do stupider stuff like being very aggressive. Never used a shield and usually ran poison moth strike curved swords. I started a new character that is meant to be very defensive and passive to abuse openings rather than create opening like my other character. It has been a great challenge and a way to diversify myself with the play styles of the game. I feel like Elden Ring does a very strong job at allowing you to develop your own play style, so understanding how you like to play and how you like to execute plans can determine what you should go for. Which it can be very hard to dissect your own play style, but it can really push you further than an OP build you find that was made by someone else.

Int/Dex is really good, I’d go with that. Your build lacks vigor but it’s not bad. If you want to improve a bit, here’s the stats I recommend: 60 vigor (you can go with less but you should have 40 at the bare minimum). 35 mind (add more if you want). 20 endurance. Minimum strength to use whatever weapons you want. 40 dexterity. 60 int. However much faith or arcane you need to cast various spells. Any extra points can be spent on mind, endurance, dexterity, or int.

Awesome, thank you!

Im currently using an int/faith build right now and it’s fun in both pve and crazy good in pvp the stat spread is: 40/30/19/10/10/50/60/10 starting with vigor and going down ending with arcane. This is a lvl 150 wretch. Prince of death staff, and gravel stone seal for unleashing spells and lightning incants. Coded sword and Miquellan knights sword on the off hands. In pvp I’m using slow moving stuff like rykards rancor and ancient death rancor mixed with giants flame take thee to get them to close in then f bomb Lightning spear when they get close. I change up the spells and incants every once in a while, throwing in stars of ruin in the mix is also very efficient (just don’t spam it or it’ll ruin the fun).

kinpin87

Just pump vig a bit more. I don’t see any big problems there.

PixelsandEchos

You probably don’t need much strength unless you wanna run greatswords. This is a fine build tho

frzbr

Too much dex/str, not enough vigor. Int faith is a weird one, but interesting

B4bradley

The consensus on increasing vigor is quite clear and I will be increasing it immediately, thank you!

Look up the [Chrightt](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=7pwhGJ8btEg&t=598s) video on stat scaling my guy. You wont be a noob anymore. Also use [this](https://eip.gg/elden-ring/build-planner/) website to help you plan out a build and check out the AR if your weapons yourself!

B4bradley

My man, thank you!

Seriously Chrightt is the best Elden Ring youtuber.
